I find it kind of nice how basically everyone in the class has already accepted this outcome anyway. Even the bullies were just like "Yeah, she is probably Claire's best choice at the end of the day".

The “bullies” were more complicated ro be fair than just bullies they more clairs friends than actual bullies clair did all the bullying they were just high class girls who cared about her especially in layer episodes it showwd they cared more for her best interest than gettong at rae
Rae finally wholeheartedly confessing her feelings without jokes was the moment that sold me on her character. She always hid herself in her jokester personality but now here she is facing her feelings head on,that’s badass if you ask me. Even better when she gets Claire’s love and those adorable reactions from her right after .
Rae and Clare have the same bad habbit of keeping people at a distance to avoid getting hurt, Rae just does it with jokes
When she was serious Claire respected her choice and accepted her.

I agree and I’m sure a lot of fans have said this but this series is almost like the Reincarnated as a Villainess series with Catarina aka Bakarina the only difference that the MC reincarnated as the heroine and she’s solely in love with the villainess and everyone knows it. It’s not the same with Bakarina who is accidentally making an all-harem.
@@Tdull-tv1ds This is extremely different from that... Like, the only real similarity is that they both star someone reincarnated into the world of an Otome game and a "villainess" who is loved. Observation Log of My Fiancee Who Calls Herself The Villainess is way more similar to Hamefura than this is, although that hasn't gotten an anime yet.
Yeah, and I want more comedy involving the princes being SUPER invested in their romance
After the heart wrenching last episode, hearing Claire say “Rae is mine” at 1:21 made me smile so damn much

I've been thinking about it for the last day or so, and it just doesn't make any sense. There are much, *much* better ways to show someone you're interested in them besides nearly killing them and stealing the person they're in love with.
@PaperbackWizard It'd be different if it was like a full on antagonist, like an example being Kirio and Iruma, they kinda make sense if you look at it in a romantic way.
I think the reason it didn't work here is because this girl didn't have enough screen time and you aren't actually sure if she's really evil

According to Rae, Manaria's role in the game is to help the protagonist get with their desired love interest. She still fulfills the role by provoking Claire into confessing her feelings. Albeit in a very unorthodox way.
I'm glad she finally admitted her true feelings in the end. I hope they're happy together. ❤🎉

AH! And it's so hard to spot because of how it's drawn and how fast it is, but Ralaire is mimicking Misha's expression! I love when Ralaire does that. She's done it to Miss Claire and at least two of the princes. It's so adorable!

I saw a clip of this scene somewhere and that’s how I started watching this show. I wasn’t expecting it to be such a monumental moment though.
I love that 1) Rae gets a taste of what she puts Claire through (tho she may never realize it) and 2) “I love you too, BABY!” at the end 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hopefully a second season comes out. The story gets way better and complex which they hint it a bit at the end of the episode. Honestly they could finish the main story in season 2 which funny enough is a shift in tone in terms plot which again they hinted at the end of episode.
Its definitely the hidden gem of the season and season 1 is basically the prologue of the show. So hopefully it gains some traction since a lot of good shows came out and this one kind of got buried as a result.

I like how manaria gave rae a taste of her own medicine considering all the constant teasing she gives ms Claire. Although manaria did go a little too far.

Well Rae says she's supposed to help the player get with their love interest (which is supposed to be one of the princes). I'm guessing Manaria is probably supposed to use more standard techniques but since Rae wasn't actually trying to go after Clair she had to get a bit... creative.

I think they were always kind of hoping for this. When Rod got Rae to join the Academy Knights, it was by promising her she could "protect Miss Claire" from monsters. And when Rae asked Miss Claire for head pats, all three princes were like "Do it, Claire". That's still one of the best scenes in the show.

This is based on a completed Light Novel series for anyone who wants to read it. And always start at Volume one. I myself am going to get the rest of this series.
I've been reading it and it has some differences. Which makes it better bc it would be boring to read from the start if it was all the same

i cant imagine there not being at least a S2 for this anime. Between the promise of the French Revolution and the fact Claire doesnt actually begin her villain redemption arc until the next chapter of the books, theres a ton of material to work with. Hell weve even gotten an early preview of Cardinal Lily Lilium the lesbian nun. Meanwhile Loretta and Pepe remain undeveloped and i cant see the Manga's Dodgeball chapter not getting animated since it naturally moves the characters into the next two major characterization plots and gives actual characterization directly to Lily, Loretta, and Pepe
Please tell me there's going to be a season two. There was a brief glimpse of the future, where Rae says something about preventing Claire's awful fate, and it looked like she was about to be beheaded. That's going to haunt me!

The woman was imagining Rei as her bride, blushing, accepted Rei's request to be her "partner," literally claimed her as "mine," and shyly asked Rei to repeat it when Rei whispered that she loved her again. The whole thing with Manaria was that Manaria recognized that the feelings were almost never one-sided. From early on Claire was always either in denial or outright lying to Rei and herself. She was crushing on Rei from before this. She just finally admitted it.

As a adorable as this scene is can we take a moment to talk about how messed up Manaria is? She admitted to forcing herself on a servant girl. She nearly killed Rae in a duel. She emotionally manipulated Claire, her childhood friend, and apparently she did it all just to get Rae's attention! And despite that toxic personality she still has enough charisma to have the entire school fawning over her. To top it all off she's an undefeatable mage. This girl is definitely going to become a supervillain.
1 slight correction, she didn't do it to get Rae's attention, that was her cover to force Claire's reaction you see in this scene (and to save face if anyone took shots at her for getting in the way of their love). As for the rest, yeah she basically SA'd her chambermaid 😅. Surprised Rae didn't call her out on that tbh
The thing is if manaria is telling the truth. Rae wouldn’t have loved her back because she took things to far many times. Rae liked Claires bullying because she could have taken it further but refused to. Manaria didnt have that problem. Look at the duel between her and Rae. She used what is considered the most vile spell in the setting that literally tortures the opposing mage and drains them of mana. When she had the skills to beat rae with less pain. And if also she was doing it to get them together she still took things way to far. She could have chosen not to go for the flower. As far as anyone knew the flower was the top. Leaving zero chance in her mind of rae winning. Their is a lot of flaws in her logic. Making me think that was obviously going for claire herself. But its hard to tell if claire would have accepted such an outcome considering she saw what happened to Rae and such. She generally hates watching those she loves get hurt.
The Golden Hawaiian Swordsman Dragon HIGHLY knew Claire had a thing for Rae. And when she went back to being a tsundere, that's when he always knew there w spark between those 2!!!
