    Finally got it done. Figured it all out. I connected the high level wires from DSP to the gm02 harness and got sound. Sounds good. It was a struggle doing this for the first time. Especially when I only had a hour or 2 one day a week to mess with it. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it bro

    When you mentioned running speaker wire from the amp back to the ach-ch01 to utilize the factory wires to the speakers, that did the trick for me. Short and simple . Thanks again bro.

    Use the PAC AP4-CH41 R.2 guys it plugs into your Factory screen and everything works as usual.It gives you front,rear and subwoofer outputs and it comes with a bass knob.It also has an optical input so you can run it to a DSP of your choice if you want to use a digital input. If you are using the optical feature you don’t need to use any rca’s from the PAC unit to the back.

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 3 lety +1

      Most DSP’s require high level inputs which will not work with the AP4-CH41 as this kit bypasses the factory amps. If your DSP has optical inputs then this “may” work. Only reason I say may is due to the fact that I dont have any experience with doing a set up using optical inputs on a DSP. But for those without it, the AP4-CH41 will not work.

      A bruh was checking out your video good stuff. I have a issue with the AP4-CH41 R2 mode for amplified systems l i had it in my 18 Charger Scatpack with beats running 3 Amps total worked fine. I got my Factory order 2021 Charger Scatpack with Harmon Kardon so this time instead of running 3 Amps. I was just gone let Factory Harmon Kardon amp power interior speakers. And just use one Mono block for my subs hooked it back up and plugged in RCAS into Sub output on AP4-CH41 and subs have no sound. Checked RCAs Subs and Mono Block they are working fine any thoughts what might be going on wonder if unit has went bad?

      Not unless you need to convert the speaker wires to RCAs. If that as already done via the PAC Pro you mentioned you have then you only need the harness for you power, ground and remote wires for the DSP itself

      @@Srtfiedofficial So how are you liking the DSP? I have an SRT8 Charger with a similar system. I don’t have a digital DSP though. Do you find yourself adjusting it often or do you have it set in the middle to cover a variety of music? The one thing stopping me from adding something like that is I think I’ll be constantly adjusting it. Lol!

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 3 lety

      Ive been running this DSP for about 7 years now and love it! I highly recommend it to anyone with a sound system. Its like the icing on the cake similar to a tune for your car. In the beginning I was adjusting it a lot because I found myself needing to make slight tweaks based on the music I like to listen to but once I got it to where I liked it I never had to make anymore adjustments to it.

    I've watched all three videos 5 times or more, thank you for the videos, I have a 300 w/ Alpine system, I cannot decide whether or not to run all new RCAs or not. Do you think your factory wires are limiting your sound output or can they handle the amplified signal just fine?

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 2 lety +1

      The factory wires are plenty for the factory speakers. If you’re trying to improve sound without changing everything out or adding aftermarket subs, amps and etc. Then I suggest just changing out the factory speakers but make sure they are 2ohm speakers with high sensitivity cause 4ohm or higher you’ll end up loosing a lot of volume.

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 3 lety

      Depending on how you wire it, it will all work as advertised. However, the best way to wire it in a charger to where you dont have any hiss or etc. you will loose the back up chime but the music will turn down a bit instead of the audible chime coming on.

    Learned a lot from your video . I have the 2012 ram sport with the same alpine amp location. Why is crutchfield telling me I need the apsub-ch21 when I can get a full range signal with the harness you’re using from the factory amp? All you need is one or the other ? Correct me if I’m wrong but I think I’ll be just fine with the ach-ch01. Is that correct?

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 2 lety +1

      If you’re just adding a sub alone then thats why it’s probably giving you that option. If you’re upgrading everything and amplifying your full range speakers as well then yes you will need the harness I used in this video or if you’re not using a signal processor or different brand LOC then you could also use the AP4-CH41 which bypasses the factory amp and comes with its own LOC. I recommend going on the PAC audio website to see what’s compatible for your truck.

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 3 lety

      If you’re adding a sound processor with the pac amppro you will need a sound processor that accepts rca inputs and outputs which im not sure if there are any on the market. You will need to use the harness that i used in this video instead as most (if not all) sound processors will require your amplified high level speaker inputs before it gets converted into low level rca’s. Using the amppro bypasses the factory amp.

    I have 2 amps 1 DSP. How do I route the rca cables??? Using an amp pac pro gm61.

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 3 měsíci +1

      First question is does your DSP have RCA inputs or does it have speaker level inputs that convert to RCA outputs? If your DSP has RCA inputs then its a simple setup where you run your RCA wires from your amp pac pro to the DSP and then from the DSP to your two amps.

    • @herbwash3139
      @herbwash3139 Před 3 měsíci +1

      @Srtfiedofficial it's both on the dsp. Should be simple then. If I get right with your help LUNCH ON ME!!! lol

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 3 měsíci

      Yea it should definitely be simple if your DSP has RCA inputs as your PAC pro already converts your speaker level inputs to RCA’s. The DSP at that point is just an inline advanced EQ tuner versus what i have which is essentially that and a LOC combined in one unit.

    • @herbwash3139
      @herbwash3139 Před 2 měsíci +2

      So even though you have rca cables you still had to wire up the speaker wires to the DSP??? The dsp wire harness????

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 2 měsíci +1

      No, if your DSP has RCA inputs AND outputs then since your PAC Pro already converts your speaker wires to low level RCAs, there’s no need to tap and wire speaker wires to your DSP. Just run the RCA wires from your PAC PRO to the DSP and then another set of RCAs from your DSP to your amps.

    I have the same alpine system in my 2015 dodge challenger and I plan on running the dash speakers off my factory amp and all the other 4 speakers off my 4 channel amp. I was reading on the manual for the aph-ch01 and it says if you're running any speakers off the factory amplifier to use the black speaker harness. And it also says to use the white connector from the aph ch01 to the factory amplifier when using a pac amp pro interface. If I only plan on using factory power for the dash speakers will I only use the dash wires on the black harness and other 4 channels on the white harness?

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 2 lety

      Your question will require a much more detailed answer so if you have an IG account please DM me. But the process of wiring an aftermarket amp with this pac harness is the same even if you want to keep your dash speakers running from the deck. The only difference would be that you will tie the dash speaker wire together on the harness versus what i did in the video. I explained in detail every step i did and what each wire is on the harness including corrections along the install so you may have to watch the video in full from start to finish.

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 2 lety +1

      I have so many wires because four sets of wires is what is getting wired to the processor and the other four set of wires are getting plugged into my aftermarket amp which are the wires going back to my speakers. I just wired everything at the harness utilizing the premade splices.

    I have pretty much the same setup in my 2020 wb scat. I am having a few problems with my bit ten. (I think the bit ten is the problem). I have the bit ten set to turn on with the speaker input, the bit ten is always on(the blue led). The remote out does not give a remote signal. When I connect to my pc the bit ten disconnects immediately or a few seconds after (I am going to try using a different laptop). Lastly, I have no sound. This may have something to do with the bit ten disconnecting.
    I bought the bit ten used off Amazon, I still have a return window. Any suggestions on how to fix the issues I am having, or just send it back.
    The dsp is/was receiving a signal in, I was able to go through the setup process. The bit ten was able to detect clipping.
    If I unplug the processor, you can hear the speakers pop for a second.
    On the graph above the eq, I don’t have a sound wave, so maybe I am not receiving a signal
    I have a bit ten D if it makes a difference.

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před rokem +1

      If you dont care about having full EQ control over your sound system then a LOC will suffice but if you want a good DSP then the JL Audio TwK-88 and the Hertz S8 is what Id recommend outside of the audison bit ten or bit one.

    • @Srtfiedofficial
      @Srtfiedofficial  Před 3 lety +1

      You tune the DSP after you hook it up! But with the Audio Control DSP you have you essentially run the RCAs from the pac interface to the DSPs input section (the mono inputs/outputs is for your subwoofer) and then run another set of RCAs from your output section on your DSP to your aftermarket amp/amps. In simplest terms the DSP gets hooked up in line between your interface and amps running to your aftermarket speakers. You shouldnt need the extra harness.

      Its not that its better, a DSP is an LOC and equalizer mixed together in laments terms. A DSP also has additional features that a general EQ doesnt have. So if youre looking to add an EQ then yea a DSP is a better choice and requires less equipment to wire up.

      You couldnt have ran everything the same way with the LC2I as it only has two signal input channels. My bit ten has 4 input channels. If you wired yours the same way i did then that may be why you’re having issues. With the LC2I i recommend getting your input signals from the rear deck speakers only versus the front dash and door speakers like i did in this video.

      You will need to wire an aftermarket amp to them in order to get full range sound out of your front door speakers. You dont need a DSP for that but just replacing the speakers alone will not fix the factory crossover settings coming from your factory amp.
