- About a year ago, I came across Josh Layne playing "Primavera" in one of his videos. I was playing the harp casually then; watching Josh played the piece cause me to want to advance my harp playing skills. One year of harp lessons later, I'm finally able to play the piece! "Primavera" means "Spring" in English, and what better day to share share this video on the first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere! COVID restrictions have been in place in British Columbia, Canada for just over a year. One of my pandemic rituals is to go for walks and take photos. I paired some of the photos I took in the past year with this video.
I used the same sheet music as Josh did, which can be found here: www.sheetmusic...
I interview musicians who play the harp in an interview series called Harp Connections. Watch them in the Talking Harps CZcams channel: / @talkingharps
Watch Josh performs "Primavera" here: • "Primavera" by Einaudi...
Josh is the creator of the Harp Tuesday CZcams series which is packed with all kinds of harp-related information; check out his channel here: / joshlayne
Beautiful! I am an early intermediate level harpist and this song is my next goal. Thanks for sharing your playing of "Primavera" with us.
Just beautiful....love from Ireland.
Many thanks, Victoria, for your hard work, your soul, ...this beautiful moment of total peace! "Guardo, ...guardo vibrare le corde mentre la mia mente, libera e attenta, ascolta, pensa, impregnandosi in profondità della forza della bellezza". L.J-C
Lovely! I love the harmonics and the end.
I'm learning this on my lever harp at the moment and I've saved this video to my "inspiration" playlist so I can listen to what I'm aiming for! 🙂
Wow… just wow…. I don’t know what I was expecting… but this, by far…. Just WOW, the best I’ve heard. Oh my gosh… half way through I instantly went to purchase the sheet music. Thank you so much!! That was truly beautiful!!!

Simplesmente Espetacular Maravilhosa🙃🙃🙂🙂😛😛😍😍🥰🥰🤩🤩
That was really great! You really captured the mood of that piece.
Thank you very much!
Incredible 😍😍😍
Do you have sheet music for lever and/or pedal harp?
I’d like to buy a printed copy if I could. My printer is not working.
I played from Ludovico Einaudi's piano sheet music. If you search for "Ludovico Einaudi sheet music book", there should be plenty of his printed sheet music available on the Internet!
Sheet music plus is not allowed to sell Primavera and Nuvole Bianche for harp. Contacted customer service and they say they don't have the rights to sell it anymore. I will try to search for it elsewhere. Beautifully played.
I use the piano sheet music for Primavera (link in description) and play it on the harp. Only needs a few small adjustments to make that work. Good luck! :)
Is it possible for you to play William Byrd the bells 🔔 please
Thank you for bringing "The Bells" to my attention. I have been working on it. ;)
This is just lovely. What is your harp? It has a beautiful sound....
Thank you, Peggy! I play a Dusty Strings Crescendo 34. :)
