With the english covers of anime or foreign songs, I always look look for the accuracy in the translated and used lyrics. Looking at the most accurate direct translations i can see that you put a lot of effort into making it a coherent song when it comes to the lyrics and that you wanted to make it as faithful as you could and for that I congratulate you. As a professional translator (not for Japanese) I agree wholeheartedly. Too many people just translate the words and never give it a second pass for comprehensibility. It's truly a dark art to correctly translate both the words as well as the meaning. The lyrics in this rendition strike that balance better than any other rendition I've seen here on YT.
Yeah, I hate when he like keeps some lyrics untranslated like sasagayo and sono chino sadame but not jaeger, it's also not in Japanese, so It would've worked really well.
