GR132 Slowtrekking on Camino Natural Costas de La Gomera

On the GR132 you can circle the whole wonderful island of La Gomera on 134 km with 9200 meters of altitude. Conquer every barranco and look forward to the next view. The silence that is only broken by the buzzing of the bees and the chirping of the birds gives me so much joy. (Okay, sometimes there was very strong wind.) Simply enjoy the nights outside under the starry sky safely and peacefully. I did this trail March 2022.

Thanks a lot for your comment. It's hard to say because you know I'm slowtrekking and I like to enjoy the nature and I have time 😎. But I think you can to it in seven days - more or less. It depends on your fitness and how you will spend the time.

Thanks a lot. Of course, the GR132 on Gomera Island is very very nice and you can do the GR131 with only 40 km as bonus track 😉. For me also the GR131 on Fuerteventura is very nice.
From my side I will go end of January to La Palma to do the GR130 around the island. Have fun where ever you are . Best regards, slowtrekking

Oh, thanks a lot. This trail is very exceeding beautiful. It's a sporty goal to this in 5 days because of so many barrancos to cross. But if you are busy you can take a bus back on many places. Have a great time

Do you have an idea if I'd have a problem finding a camp spot not too far away from San Sebastian? My ferry arrives in La Gomera 1630, sunset about 1840. My map shows the first 10 km follows the road? Thx.

You probably want to go against the clock. You will also find possibilities for a tent after about 5 to 7 kilometers. Have a nice time on this trail.
