Stroll through my garden with me to see some of Florida’s tropical plants/trees that last and look great In all seasons. I’m a landscape designer in Vero Beach, FL. Sharing some of my absolute favorite plants and trees I use daily in my designs. I’ll explain a little about their temperaments and what areas of the garden they can be used in. If you live along the Space or Treasure coast, this may be a helpful video for you. Hope it inspires the rest of the plant addicts like me to get out in their gardens and plant. If you would like more help with having me come out. My husband and I own Construction Landscape co. In Vero Beach, Fl. Reach out to us by 772-473-3218

@@stylewithlivingart 😀I want to create a similar tropical look in our humble garden here in Tampa so I created bookmarks that will help me quickly reference the video. 👍
True Gardener! Love this landscape!
Hi True Gardener!! Thanks for tuning in 😊😊
Absolutely beautiful, love the balance of trees and plants. Always gives me great ideas.
Keep the video's going.
Thanks so so much for watching !😊
I love this look, but maybe a little messier. I love the look of an untamed jungle.
Haha yes! Thanks for tuning in Carole! 😊
I'm absolutely obsessed with watching your tour videos. Wish you were in Central Florida. 😊
Thank you so much Caroline!!😊
I’m definitely a true gardener. This place blew my mind with the variety of palms all working together in the landscape and all the details. Nice job!
Hi True Gardener!! This garden was so fun to design and show you all! Im so glad you liked! Thanks for watching 😊
TRUE GARDENER! LOVE this landscape and its paths and curves! What an AWESOME SPACE!
Yes! Thanks for tuning in again True Gardener !! 😊
So beautiful! Love your videos. It’s so hard to find gardeners that can design for our tropical heat. Please keep videos coming! You are so talented.
Thank you so very much!
This is the best video yet. I grabbed some tips and like how you coplanted with the Queen Emma's. I've been looking for a more natural looking landscape around a pool cage for a long time. I put stone around our cage as well with a hammock area and deep beds, but this project, without a set bed around it, is very cool to see. Wonderful and relatable...yet grand.
Bryce and I give you a huge thanks!!! This videos was so fun to make! Thanks for sharing that you enjoyed it 😊
We retired to Boquete, Panama and your videos are so helpful. We come from Michigan so tropical plants were only houseplants. Now I'm learning all over again. Once I get a handle on the leafcutter ants, I'm gold.
Oh, congratulations Mary it’s funny My husband and I were just talking about Panama yesterday. I hear it’s a beautiful place to retire. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the channel and getting some good ideas. Good luck to you in the garden.
😀It looks good. Thanks for sharing. True gardener!

Gorgeous job wow amazing
True Gardner !
Hey True Gardener!! Thanks so so much for watching 😊
My Favourite on this Video is the Gorgeous Curved Coconut Palm. I have planted in my garden area 3 golden dwarf Malayan coconut palms. I am training Tecoma Stans to be like trees. Look on CZcams Singapore plants yellow bell,, another name for Tecoma Stans.. Also the Callistemon ( bottle Brush) plants grown as small trees.
Lastly the pink bougainvillea tree grown next to a Adonidia palm is, just Amazing. I am growing from Seed some Teddy bear palms. Another palm I like is the Carpoxylon. Such a wonderful large green Crown Sharft
Oh, I agree listed some of my all-time favorite palms. I’d have to say the Carpoxylon is in my top 5. 😍😍
Gorgeous garden, I love all your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and thought process behind each vista.
So nice of you thank you and I’m so glad you’re liking the videos!

True Gardener: such a beautiful garden! Tropical oasis
Thanks so so much for watching !! True Gardener!😊
True Gardener! This is the video that I’ve been waiting for! The original video had me drooling. This yard is an oasis. Fantastic job! That pothos on the tree looks like the ones that grow in Jamaica. I can’t wait to see the next phase. Thanks for doing this video.
Thanks so so much for watching !! True Gardener!😊
True gardener! I enjoy watching your beautiful work!
Thanks so so much for watching !! True Gardener!😊
Love this one!
Love your comment about leading to a narrow point and then opening up into another “room”. And I definitely want to try the cooler transition with the “jungle” look. Thank you so much for bringing us along!
Thanks so so much for watching !! True Gardener!😊
True gardener! I’m so glad you mentioned that palms can work with oaks. That’s been one of my issues - I have oaks and a sweet gum in my back yard where I also want a tropical oasis. I hope to get some palms in the ground this summer by following some of your designs.
I’m so glad it helped. Yes big canopy trees can deter the toughest Gardner lol. However they can play nice with palms if forced. 😃😂
nice job love tropical look and water fountain ⛲️
thank you
True gardener! I must say this is the most beautiful design that I have ever seen. Incredible work. If you don’t mind me asking, how much was a job like this?
True gardener! Thanks for videos..could you do one on growing the different types of bromiliads?
Great suggestion! I will add that to the list. Thank you for the reminder they are such a great staple in the garden, definitely do deserve to be highlighted.

Hello! I love watching your videos and your gardens are inspirational!
I'm new to the Cape Coral area and want to start my garden. Do I have to kill the grass first or am I able to create a berm using dug up material from our pool that's being installed.
Hello Gardner, I’m so glad you’re finding inspiration in the videos as for recycling the area under your pool that can be a bit tricky. You want to be cautious using grass because it can break down and cause pockets in the garden making things unlevel I would try to get as much clean soil as you can get into the space to give your new landscaping the best possible start. Wishing u great luck with your new project.
True gardener! Love your videos! I have a question. What metal edging do you use to separate rock from mulch? With our sandy soil, it's so difficult to get any edging to stay in place.
I use curve rites Aluminum alloy edging. Permoloc is a little easier to find. The Beuta faux brick edging is a great product too.
I love your videos. I'm new to South Florida and need help. Can I use sand from pool excavation, to create berm for planting, without removing St. Augustine grass. I've been told yes and no. Help !! Thanks
Hello re using some sand should be fine however try to remove as much of the grass as possible. Weed seeds are commonly in grass and could constantly come up through planting beds. If they’re not removed sometimes it’s just easier to remove all the grass while you can see it. Good luck gardener.
True Gardener!
Random Question from another video - When you plant ‘Song of India’ in a grouping, do you have a specific height or “look” you’re going for? I am having trouble envisioning a grouping without it looking crazy. lol
Hello Tassi yes usually I use it for a pop of a little wild look around 3-3.5ft I keep it trimmed as even as possible so it’s an upright cluster planting. It can be maintained at a small height, however be careful because it can also grow very tall. If you let it, I tend to like it more compact and dense and thick. Hope this helps some true gardener.
Hi Jen, what is the edging that they are using?
That’s curve rite edging it’s an aluminum alloy edging. Permoloc maybe easier to find and it’s very similar :) I hope that helps
What type of mulch do you use?
I use a hardwood mulch, call dark brown Florida Mulch. it is stained and treated.
Дженнефер как називаеться это красний листие кустарник ?
Hi😃 At what time during the video was it shown??
