The reason they are so in sync when it comes to bars is because these are bars from their most well known songs. Also many of them are members of Boy Better Know (BBK).
So at the start from right to left:
    JME with the durag
    Lethal Bizzle in the middle
    Tempa T with the vest.
Then Skepta came in (who is JME’s brother)
Then the guy with dreads and black hat in the middle is Jammer.
    20:00 is Dizzee Rascal

The main reason these guys are so in sync is because spitting in huge groups like this is how they came up - they spit on pirate radio grime sets clashing with other MCs every week. They developed great, unique cadences and memorable bars to stick out on the radio and they developed their style and fan base like this.

  • @0Linerider0forever0
    @0Linerider0forever0 Před 4 měsíci +2

When General Levy does "Incredible", you dont understand..... It's like an anthem for the UK, especially those growing up in the 90s going to clubs listening to early jungle, early rave, early dnb, early ragga, early garage, early house. It was a time when SO MUCH was born from, and all those guys around Levy, grew up in those clubs hearing that track. On top of that i think it's fair to say that MANY of us, (me included) knew the song for so long and loved but, but then seeing him perform it AND REALISING HE MAKES THAT SOUND WITH HIS MOUTH?!! Ok yeah some knew, but lots of us thought it was added in, but he MAKES it live, is fucking insane. That all of these things contributed to such love and sentimental-ness for this. That's why the guys around show so much love. Song legendary, and Levy legendary.

I used to be in a rap crew with like 8 members and we hung around almost every day. Everyone knew the lyrics of each other and anyone could adlib anyone on any beat to support. That is one thing that is great about being a crew like that. We freestyled over beats for days, often the same verses, to see how they go in a different cadence. That adds up to insane practice on any tempo or any vibe. So when a cypher like this happens you can jump in at any time if you feel it. You just gotta give a signal that you want a turn. In the video you can see them shoulder tapping each other and passing on the headphones etc. If you are really into rapping that is all you do and doing this is easy while impressive to others and there is a chance you surprise yourself with a fresh performance of old written bars.

Soo many legends in this and the way they’re able to bounce off each other cause the songs their singing are classics so everyone knows the lyrics.. honestly general levy does some banging remixes of new tunes to this day proper bangers should check some out

MASSIVE congrats for your 50 + subs, you're defo honorary part of the UK mandem, been wicked to see you grow from the get go!!!
Think we've all mentioned that so many musical genres have been UK created over the decades SO the mighty General Levy had big hits back in the 90s. Coming from Ragga, Drum n' Bass, Jungle & Dubstep & of course Grime... I mean there are SO many genres that we created that America rarely decided to open its doors to, unfortunately for those there that love really great music & the talent that goes with it. It's brilliant that now, thanks to your channel & others Americans are able to learn a bit more about it.
We're known to be open to any underground scene so much so that when the Detroit Techno & Chicago House guys weren't feeling the love in the States they came here to work & collaborate as our scene was massive & our deep respect for what they were creating blew their minds. They couldn't believe what they were experiencing here with our mad raves & musical dedication without bias.
One day a selection of 1 track from these uniquely UK genres with your reactions would be amazing!!
    UK Acid House
    Drum n' Bass
    Jungle
    Dub Step
    Trip Hop
    UK Garage
    Acid Jazz

If You love these beats You need to listen to more of the old school grime when it first started with Wiley, Dizzee rascal, kano there is so much stuff You guys probably haven't heard yet I'm talking about the early 2000's when Grime was born.

Yes team beers, we got 30 yrs of this for y’all to listen too. While hip hop was a dominant sound on your side of the pond, the UK was embracing technology mixed with roots, reggae, toasting, breakbeat et al that crated a counter culture unparalleled by no one.
The result - jungle, drum n bass, grime, uk garage, drill, hard house and every derivative of ¾, 2/4, 4/4, syncopation, off beat you can imagine. We’ve so much music from 1990-2023 that the world doesn’t know about that’s finally getting acknowledged is surreal. Believe me you’re gonna go on a journey that will blow your mind !!
And the most positive aspect of that 30 yr period was the breakdown of racial barriers - music has unparalleled power of us common folk and it will never be beaten, ever!!!

General Levy couldn't have landed at a better time in the UK. It was the early 90s. Drum n bass was playing in the clubs and Shabba Ranks was in the charts. Then Levy smashes everyone over the head with Incredible. They made about 10 different remixes of that tune and sold them all as singles. A friend of mine bought them all 😂
