April 2024 and this guide still works. Just make sure to follow the steps exactly as described and you won't have issues. Thanks!
Thank you! Your guide was really helpful!
Glad to help, Happy gaming!
mine came with a microsd to usb adapter, very cool of them
Very useful tutorial. All funkcion works properly. Thx!
Happy Gaming!
Hi - thanks for this video - very useful.
I have followed your steps and these have worked fine - thank you.
However, there are many here with different issues - I'd like to add a few tips on how I dealt with each one of these:
1. Blank screen + buzzing sound.
This means your micro sd card is above 2 GB - sadly you really need a very old, micro sd device to work.
I tried using a 16gb micro sd partitioned only for 2 GB using FAT and it would not work.
2. Unexpected behavior and/or error messages such as: No games listed, "No sd inserted", "No FAT"...you name it.
This gets as simple as your battery sources are not providing enough power - so the super card randomly malfunctions.
I tried this on a modded IPS screen GBA, and I was getting a ton of different issues. I then tried testing on an unmodded GBA SP, and it worked fine - I was puzzled. I changed batteries on the GBA and it worked fine afterwards.
Some important points:
I. The super card has a diagnostic mode - having it inserted in your handheld, keep L+R buttons pressed while you turn on your handheld, it will enter a diagnostic mode. Make sure your battery source is fresh or well charged - press A to move on to each test - each one of the tests should display " OK ". Else, you might have something wrong with your super card.
Make sure to test at least with 2 different devices!
II. I really don't know what's the purpose for the software - perhaps it's for patching roms so they can be used in a NDS?
When I tried the supercard on my GBA's, GBA and GB roms seemed to work fine just by dragging and dropping them into the micro sd card...but I'm not sure if I might miss any functionality.
III. I really focus on GB and GBC roms. Once you start such a rom, you can do a button combination to access further emulation options for GB/GBC roms -> just press and keep L and then press R - a menu will pop up.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for sharing with the Gaming community. Comments like this help a lot of people out. Happy Gaming!

IF ANYONE IS HAVING TROUBLE WITH WHITE SCREEN ON LOADING A ROM:
KEEP THE GBA TURNED ON, REMOVE AND REINSERT CART AND BOOT INTO THE SAME ROM THAT JUST FAILED TO LOAD.
literally have to do it every time i load a rom but it works every time.
I have heard a lot of people complain about this problem. Thanks for sharing.
Great video
Thanks for watching jay!
When I add games to sd card via the software, I put in gba and the games don’t show, they don’t show in folders either, I see the menu but nothing else. I have 2gb micro sd card formatted as fat. Am I doing something wrong?
Any help or advice?
did you found a fix? im facing the same problem
I have an issue. I can launch the roms on my GBA SP and NDS Lite but when I do it on my GBA classic I only get white screen. Anyone knows why?
followed the instructions but i keep getting a blank screen :(
Is it only 1 ROM or all? My Pokemon Ruby ROM refuses to load for some reason but all my others work fine.
Edit: Got Pokemon Ruby to work. Ran the SuperCard program as Admin.
Hey I am trying to play loz minish cap but it says the save files are corrupted is that a problem with the cart itself or do I have to download something or change the settings? Thanks.
It could be several different things. SD card could be full, SD card could be defective, You might have to many files in one folder. I think the problem might be you are saving within the game instead of using the carts save feature. By pressing the right combination of buttons you can save and load from the cart. Hope this helps!
I followed the guide but my card doesn't see the folders. if I put the games inside without a folder everything works, if I create a folder it doesn't see it. Am I doing something wrong?
Did you find the solution? happened with me too
@@GabrielFranco Yes, I solved it but I don't remember how because too much time has passed. If I'm not mistaken the problem was the folder name or something similar.
@@GabrielFranco Try changing the name and let me know. I will eventually get mine back to check.
I've formatted my SD card using multiple programs and it still gives me the "Not FAT Format Please turn off GBA" error. I know its needs to be standard fat16 and not fat 32, but no matter which method I use to format it, I get the same error.
hello kylesparrow and thanks for watching. I had this same problem and the command prompt format fixed it. This video should help make your card visible to the Supercard. czcams.com/video/QAffjKifWjM/video.html
Im trying to play pokemon crystal clear on my gba, is there a way to do that?
Hey there, I got a Micro sd Super Card like yours and followed the tutorial, but whenever I try to use the cardridge on my DS I just get a white screen. What could I have done wrong?
The screen turns white when you turn on DS with cartridge in or screen turns white when you boot a game?
@@kelleytechright when i boot up the super card. The gameboy logo appears I get a milisecond of the supercard menus and then it shows a white screen I cant get away from
@@andrecastela8316 You could try it in another GBA to see if you get the same problem. If you have same problem on both its most likely a defective super cart .
well this came at the right time. mine came today. wont save. also discovered my 2nd gba console just WONT load anything form this thing. my other gba will load stuff, but not save anything. no matter what. i cant even get the save states to work
Sorry to here you had a bad experience with the supercard. They all look the same but the internal components are not. Its kind of a gamble. Sorry for the extremely late reply.
My Roms load to a white screen and freezes
I accidentally pressed a random series of buttons while playing a game on it and it crashed. After that the save menu wouldnt pop up and eventually all my games would crash right after starting up. what is wrong with it?
so sorry for delayed response but sounds like you have a faulty SD card. Hope this was helpful!
@@kelleytech well that makes sense because my card is like 5 years old. Btw I think the buttons I pressed were L+R+A+Start which are supposed to activate the cheats but the game I did that on didn't have cheats enabled through the supercard software. I tried to fix the crashing by patching the game and it worked but the save menu still won't pop up, the screen just goes black
@@kelleytech Is there a way to format the supercard itself? Would that help or should I try replacing the SD card first?
@@alex-go8mw I would definitely try a 2 gig micro SD card first. .As far as I know you cant change the user interface but you never know there might be a firmware update around the corner.
Even tho I have my sd card formated to FAT (not exFAT or FAT32), it keeps saying "Not FAT Format. Please turn off GBA".
Any help with that?
same problem
I think it actually needs to be FAT16 (Windows just calls it FAT)
Sorry about the late reply but this might help you. czcams.com/video/QAffjKifWjM/video.html
@@kelleytech diskpart didn´t work for me. :(
bro you sound like the radio voice on cod games
hi, i have a gba and i cant see any game on the list of games. how i can work this ?
Did you get it working?
I’m having same problem
@@RaesASMR no bro, im looking for something to fix thix. but i cant find nothing
Hi, any idea why my main menu is in chinese language is there firmware thats in english?
A firmware update would fix the problem. Unfortunately there are so many clones out there you never know witch one you will get. If you get the wrong Firmware you could brick your card. You could just make sure the left tab is selected and your games should be in English.
I can't get Pokémon Emerald past a white screen.
Same problem, all other games work fine.
I loaded the roms into it. I tried starting them, but I just get a white screen
This info was posted by a sub but it might work for you. Hope this helps! KEEP THE GBA TURNED ON, REMOVE AND REINSERT CART AND BOOT INTO THE SAME ROM THAT JUST FAILED TO LOAD.
Where is the Supercard software ?
RIGHT
Quick question so there’s not a file for a menu to download
Hello Eriic and thanks for watching, to answer your question, no there is no menu file to install, its ready to go. Just format to fat and add Games in gba format. Hope this helps!
@@kelleytech thank you mine doesn’t pass from the game boy logo could be cause it’s a 4gb model right.
@@erickcuevas9311 my cart would not work unless my sd card was 2 GB or smaller
How to make tilt controls work ?
There is no tilt controls on gba
Yeah, the tilt controls are on the cart itself @@ethanperrince4382
that would require you use a hacked 3DS to run it through homebrew
Hmm.. I wonder if this will work in the gamecube gameboy player.. do you know?
That would be so sweet but as far as I know the cartridge is incompatible with the GameCube game boy adapter. You never now it might work I have not tried myself. Great now you got me wondering. 😄
Update, I tried the SuperCard on a GameCube Gameboy player and it works great. Thank you for the idea! You can see it in action here.
czcams.com/video/MLI9KaToA4g/video.html
@@kelleytech no problem, thanks for the hard work and I appreciate that you came back and remembered me. Sweet.
Hi im new to it is there a way to port nes games to it
Hello @dthbaron and thanks for watching. Seems like I read that it could but have not tried yet. I will give it a shot and let you know how it goes as soon as possible.
thx for the link for the software, official website link is down
Glad to help, happy gaming!
the games wont show
Did u get it too work? If so how??😢
Anyone tried this on a Gamecube GBA player via Swiss?
Yea works great but not all super cards are equal. this video shows it in action, at 52 minutes in. czcams.com/video/MLI9KaToA4g/video.html
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but none of these walkthroughs help. I always end up with a white screen.
The saves don't work
I think the problem might be you are saving within the game instead of using the carts save feature. By pressing the right combination of buttons you can save and load from the cart. Hope this helps!
@@kelleytech I did all 3 ( in game save real time and normal) and it works in some games but not in all
@@alex0629 Maybe there are to many files in the folders of the games that wont save. check your folders to see if you have more than 60 files in each folder. Having to many files in one folder can cause a save issue. Hope this helps!
@@kelleytech there is no folder and only 4games(12 files)
@@alex0629 The only other thing I can think of is trying a different rom of the same game. wish I could be more helpful.
why is mine Chinese?
Are the supercart menus in Chinese? I have heard of that happening before. I guess sometimes its luck of the draw.
This thing is the worst flashcart ever made that being said there is a guy that recently made custom firmware for it adding a bunch of features it didn’t have before such as drag and drop roms no more needing to patch them anymore it does it on the cart and support for SDHC so you can use any micro SD card without needing an ancient 2GB micro SD it still sucks but it makes it much more tolerable
is there a link to custom firmware?
@@RaesASMR GitHub /metroid-maniac/scfw
Hello OCT94 and thanks for watching. Do you have the download link for the new firmware or the name of the firmware? Sound interesting.
