You’re the reason I pulled me weight and tried to be a cleaner / more organized person. I now take showers everyday (instead of every 2-5 days) I do skin care routine which is mostly just cleanser, brush my teeth 2x a day, and keep my room clean. I’m happy I found you.
That’s amazing for you! There was a time in my life that I was the same way mentally but I just forced myself to keep up because I didn’t want anyone to know, but now I take better care of myself for me not for anyone else. For anyone else out there feeling like that just know that you have to want better for yourself not to meet other peoples expectations.
@@blonde6 yeah I am going through a bit of depression and I do want it to go away but it’s mostly my parents that are forcing me into depression and they don’t even know it, but watching people like this boost my confidence that there’s more to just waking up, going to school, eat dinner, sleep and repeat. I do try to hang out with my friends, pets and doing more exercises but I can never get myself out of the habit to eat unhealthy I just can’t do it for the life of me.

I got my exam results today and I was so confident and knew all the answers but when I saw the mark I literally broke down sobbing, I have never cried this hard over a grade because it’s just a grade but this one is different I actually studied and spent all my summer studying and getting this grade is so unbelievable. ik a lot of people told me it’s not that serious and I shouldn’t react this way but I’m so depressed, mad and shocked

@@a11res I have always struggled in school. I know how it feels to to be sick from it. My best advise would be to either take self care time to yourself and not care maybe even miss an assignment for yourself, or study for hours straight bc that can also feel rewarding just being proud of yourself for doing something so boring and emotionally draining. Sometimes it feels like I cry every time I study. My professor for an online class gives the least amount of information possible. I have no clue what I am supposed to be writing about. So I cry and sleep all day. Because escaping seems easier than doing work most of the time. But it isn’t. I get in a bad state from that. Except this time I really don’t know how to start you know? So I am skipping class tomorrow twice this week because I need to study and but I keep sleeping in until the evening. I will talk a sleeping pill and stay up until 5 am anyway. I need to go to bed I am really trying this day. Ima watch one more video though. This is so embarrassing idk why but I do feel good about sharing. I hope I helped. Also if you are in high school I feel like advise is different for that you know.

A question in my colleage application is what's one of the biggest problems society is facing and I actually wrote about the problem of not oversharing emotions, so many people go through so many diffrent things thinking there alone with it and have to face it all on there own but if we all would actually be more vulnable life would be so much easier for all of us ❤
Im 20 and I recently moved back home 13 hours away from my parents and live alone and work 40 hours, my mental health has become shit. Ive lacked motivation and honestly feel like ive become just a working body and not even being myself anymore. Mai’s videos make me feel like were in this shit together and its super comforting. Yeah I also love Mayor because she’s just open and down to earth and she’s like the big sister I never could’ve had you know I’m the oldest of my two younger brothers and sometimes it’s hard to talk to my mom about how I feel and sometimes I feel a little bit uncomfy like uncomfortable and it can sometimes be hard to talk about with a woman with a grown full grown woman or like them your mother and I’m always been asked my mom if I could get a fireplace but she haven’t found one yet and that’s why I have sometimes felt a little bit lonely and when I finally got the voiceover average in weight impaired so I use voiceover who vision impaired or blind people use and I use it on my phone and it helped me a lot and when I found Mayour and she really help me and she’s always down to earth and funny and like that crazy big sister and this is like a big family to me like it like this is a big community and my mind is always like so funny and sweet and she’s lovely and kind and also funny and crazy in both ways and sometimes I’ve been asking my mom if she has if she has found a therapist for me it’s not really hard and I come from Belgium so I mean I moved here five years ago so yeah it’s been kind of hard and I come from Denmark so yeah I’m Copenhagen oh yeah I mean I was born and raised in Copenhagen so yeah oh yeah and Mayour has a friend who has a company Copenhagen I think so that’s kind of funny so I am but raise danish but my family comes from morocco but this is like a big family and a big community for me if you’d like I think I have watched her for two years now❤❤

Something you said in the video really hit me. You saying you create youtube videos in order to talk about your life problems and overshare about things reminds me of why I started youtube in the first place. It's hard as a 19 year old creator myself to get the motivation to create more music, podcasts, & learn the languages I want to learn. If you look at my channel there was a point in time where I was just thriving living my own life and having fun. Now I work for more hours in a day and sometimes it gets in the way of me focusing on my passions. My life recently has been a mess. And every time I try to either clean up these messes or these messes clean up themselves shit gets messy again. I decided to take a month off of college to figure out what I want to do, but I always find myself going back to the same old habits of pondering + getting so much anxiety because I wasted my Freshman year of college taking every single class in the book you could think of. I have way too many interests but people in this world say you have to pick one for a stable career. This is something I love about youtube. You can do anything as long as you have fun with it and roll. The hardest part is to post consistently sometimes especially when you're feeling extremely burnt out.

Something I'm proud of myself for doing is getting out of my comfort zone and speaking to so many different people. As a person that gets so much anxiety or gets super quiet when others try to communicate with me I find working at a retail store helpful at times. Each day I learn it's okay to make mistakes but what matters is that we laugh it off and keep moving forward. It's really good if you have a nice community of people to back you up or make you feel like you're truly at home while you're developing into a better version of yourself. As a person who doesn't really have many friends I've learned that when a stranger talks to me like I've known them for a long time it makes me feel happy. It truly allows me to feel like I'm not alone & that everyone has each other.

this video made me feel so much better. i recently went through my first heartbreak. it was bad. it came out of nowhere. my ex told me that he couldn't be a good enough bf for me and that he couldn't give me the time and commitment I deserve...and I begged and begged and begged for him to stay even though I was constantly compromising for him and his needs and the effort or love was never reciprocated. it's been a month now and I have been in and out of severe depression and anxiety. i have an amazing support system of people encouraging, supporting, and loving me, yet I've never felt more alone. even though I know he treated me bad I miss the person he promised me he could be (and I believed those promises even though he never followed through). seeing this and reading the comments made me actually feel something...more than I have in like a month. so thank you
