And 10 degrees lower - luckily where I am, that's still 20. I'll take it.
Some rain, preferably overnight, early morning about 3am and 10 to 15mm would be nice.
    😆
Keeping a close eye on rainfall in the South, after a sodden 5 or 6 months leading up to summer, we're now getting into week 3 with no significant rain.
Looks like week 3 will close and we'll get some though - fingers crossed!

Really.? That must be the discovery of 2024.! We are so lucky in this country that there is an approximate six week lag between length of day and hottest and coldest weather on average and in fact the northern hemisphere is favoured over the southern because we are further from the sun and therefore moving more slowly through space. Sunrise and sunset is complicated and mid-day GMT only coincides with solar mid-day on four occasions a year as I understand it. But basically in our summer there is no noticeable difference in the length of day subject to the weather from about the beginning of June to the middle of July. It is a completely different ball game around the winter solstice in comparison.
