- You should have fun, actually, but not in the way that you think. You need to find things that are fun and are good for you. When you can learn to enjoy difficult things, you will outcompete everyone. Find productive things that you love doing and try to make difficult tasks more fun for yourself.

I relate to you completely! i was hooked to playing games in my teenage years too but at some point they became boring...i recently got a gaming laptop but none of the games I wanted to play were fun when I actually played them. In quarantine i started dancing in my small room and i still think dancing is waayyy fun than playing video games!

I personally think that life is short, and I dont want to play it like some game to get to the very top and sacrifice what life actually has to offer. I think moderation is great, too much of anything is bad (you spending hours playing video games was bad, but playing video games at all isnt bad). I think we should learn to find enjoyment in all things and spend our time wisely, being productive but ALSO having fun. Thats what I want my life to be, hanging with friends and making good memories, while also getting what needs to be done, done. Balance is key
yes bro! balance, this guy had no life before this so he thinks everyone had the same, meanwhile i was OUTSIDE skating, riding bikes, hanging out with people, making real interactions, thats real fun, thats human

I kind of agree but i think saying you shouldn't have fun when you're young is misleadingly. Im not trying to be mean or anything i just wanted to point this out incase Maxwell Rhoe sees it
yeah, my thoughts exactly. I dont think we should avoid fun, I think we should find more constructive ways of having it tho (hanging out with friends, picking up a hobby that makes us more interesting, and other things)
I'm so glad i haven't the same definition of fun than "everyone"! For me, having fun is going out ( in the forest), reading, spending time with people i love, watching sunsets and listening to music...
I blew up on CZcams towards the end of high school. Faced with cross country, college applications, social gatherings, scouts, etc., I took time off from CZcams, only to lose all my momentum. I regretted it for a while, but I don’t regret it now. When you’re young, trying new things, joining clubs, and meeting people are priceless experiences. You will never have a time like this ever again in your life. I had an amazing cross country season.
I have regrets about excessive social media and gaming, but not going out. (2:25) All the money in the world is no replacement for happy memories and relationships. I strongly believe both are possible: work hard, play hard. If I could go back, perhaps I’d upload once a week instead of neglecting my channel completely, but I’m so glad I went out when I could.

What we're doing constantly is not fun anymore cuz it's not what we wanna do but it's just a PROGRAMMATION like we keep scrolling cuz we're unconditionally used to scroll on our phones everyday ppl shall get this and start doing what's actually fun to them instead of doing what they're unconsciously used to do.

Yeah this video seems a bit extreme as he’s acting like there can’t be a balance between being productive and just chilling out. It’s very important to have balance in your life because you can get burnt out on these things such as partying like I did.
