I don't remember who published it, but a few years ago there was a story about the Hughes brothers published. There was a section where they asked Jack and Quinn who they thought the better player was, and the only concrete answer they both gave was that they were sure Luke was gonna be the best player down the road. This play makes me understand why they were so confident in saying that because to be that tall and that fast with those hands as a defensman? Nasty.
Yeap! I remember
Tbh they probably said that because Luke wasn't pro yet and had most to prove. PK Subban said same thing about his brothers. Luke is a beast though
His size compared to Jack and Quinn might make the difference. Right now Jack looks like a Hart finalist and Quinn looks like a Norris winner. So just to be in the same league as them in the coming years would be a huge accomplishment for him. But to think he could be even better is beyond exciting to think about.
@@NothingToPointOut24we may never see anything like this again in our lifetimes. All 3 brothers are amongst the most talented hockey players in the NHL!
With all 5 opposing players ahead, Luke Hughes liked his chances.
it really looked like Jack said here ya go bro go nuts I trust you
Still early in his career but he seems to have a knack for clutch goals.
Like Jack.He sees possibilities nobody else does.
Lookin' like Scott Niedermayer
Thought the same. Reminiscent of the Detroit goal in the '95 SCF for sure!
He’s going to be special
Let’s be honest. The highlight of this play was that crazy assist from jack Hughes lol jk 😂😂
Hahaha well to be fair he probably could have done the same thing. Gotta let little bro eat I guess 😂
The Force will be with you. Always.
Hughes bros taking over hockey
Use the force Luke!
That kid can fly
Fine. I'll do it myself
Pretty much
I just watched a Niedermayer highlight from when he was 20 and it was the SAME exact goal..... unbelievable
Amazing speed in that goal. And also takes the shoot in the motion forward. 🙏🙏
Imagine making a drop pass to your little brother that you've done a million times on the pond as a kid to score a goal. What a feeling
me and my dad was there last year and it was so cool from a leafs fan
Absolute stud
If only 27 wasn't retired
Sick
Luuuuke🎉
this goal was better then bedards ot goal that everyone is talkin bout but not this
Bro morphed into mcdavid for a sec
SWEET!!!
NHL Legend.
Hughes > Hughes
Correction, Hughes > Hughes
I disagree
Hughes > Hughes > Hughes
*visable confusion*

Luke Hughes for Tyler Myers
Luke unchained. Set Luke free! Or was that Sergei Fedorov?
Look at me...I got this

How did he not get drafted first
Orr like symptoms...
HAVE THE DEVILS PLAYED CHICAGO YET BECAUSE I WANT TO SEE BEDARD ABSOULETY GET DESTORYED BY THESE HUGHES BROTHERS THE GLAZING BEDARD GETS FOR BEING AS GOOD AS HE IS GETTING ANNOYING
Nov 5th, Devils won 4-2. Bedard did not score, and Jack Hughes was injured. Luke Hughes was in, but no points. Hamilton however was healthy, he got an assist on Mercer's PPG.
