This guide has been very helpful. I love Zoe, I just started playing league about 3 months ago and I love the game. Zoe is one of my top champs to play, she can be a struggle sometimes.. but as you said she is skill shot reliant, so if you're not hitting your shots, you're useless...Ive been there haha thanks again!

I need to disagree with you. Most of players will not expect doing aa Q, so it makes no difference between doing Q aa and aa Q :)

i'm a zoe main and looking at this all it did was make my knowledge of matchups a bit easier ty so much you deserve a sub.
They are bringing mord mid nowadays so thats a thing. The one with vladimir helped alot because i would watch viksy when she plays zoe (says she is a aurelion sol main) and she says she always love that matchup cuz its so easy but when i go against him i die ;-;.

If you already have a summoner spell or an item that needs to be clicked on a target on your W and you want to exchange it for an other one on the ground, you can press W and right click on the specific bubble on the ground to pick it up.

Zoe was so fun when she first came out and was blatantly OP and disgusting. I got mastery 7 in 3 days; it was a blast. I was part of the problem.

I'm maybe a bit late if I want an answer but I'll try ! I play Zoe a lot but always with Aery, the electrocute needs to be proc in 3 secs but if u e an enemy do u have time for long Q to proc electrocute ? I mean a long Q (most before R) can be really and I can't define if it can be more than 2,5/3 secs.
Because in fact the drowsy effect is 1.4secs long and the sleep is 2,25secs long so it does 3,65 secs in total so if the electrocute count the hit when the bubble hits ur enemy then u probably won't have the time to proc electrocute with only E-Q-AA and u'll be obliged to use a summoner spell to get the proc so for the long range trades that's pretty useless I'd say so idk but to scale Aery seems better. Tell me if I'm wrong !

She isn't. Her skills are pretty mechanical and nailing combos can be confusing. I would know since I got the game yesterday and bought her already...shes quite OP if you know how to use her if you ask me. It's a matter of getting used to.

When I try to Q-Q-R my R doesn't always seem to activate at times and my q doesn't travel with me. Is there a particular reason why such as wrong timing? It seems like the R gets locked out if it isn't perfect.
Ian Kutsunai you must release R first then Q, I think
try not to get used to using q r q in that order. it's not how you should be using the combo. q q r is the correct way for maximum damage. it's just harder to pull off if you don't know the timing between q's travel time and R's blink to extend the range. I'd try getting used to q q r and the correct timing over just doing a Q R Q because while it's a little safer, your Q doesn't travel nearly as far and does quite a bit less damage and is slower too.

My combo is E + R backward + Flash + Q + Q + AA = Death
sorry but Q's max dmg range is 2550 units (similar to Nocturne ult). You don't need flash to get max Q dmg. Just Q R Q is enough to reach maximum Q dmg. This is easier if you eventually get boots or use R over walls to extend range. You can also read about this and more on reddit ZoeMains. Good luck!

Beginner: OMG, can Zoe instakill with Q+ Thresh lantern + Bard's portal + flash + flash + R + Q?
Riot: no, to achieve maximum Q dmg you only need 2550 range which is Q R Q if you have boots. Without boots you need use R over walls to extend the range to achieve the maximum Q damage.

It went SLIGHTLY over it
It's a bug with her R. Zoe can use R and cast E right before she ports back which has some weird interactions. You can test it in the practice tool, though it might take a few tries.
Your use of her Q really annoys me, for example at 20:30 you could easily procc egg if you threw Q backwards. Throughout the video you kept on doing this, throwing Q forward when you didn't need to, which drastically lowers your damage output. Same at 21.16.
In harder matchups I'd also recommend to use her insane waveclear to push lane hard then roam, since you want to be out of the lane as much as possible. This also applies if you're vs a long range controlmage (Lux, Xerath etc) that sits under tower, essentially making you unable to kill them. Surprise E's from fog of war through a wall is an easy way to get free kills in sidelanes.
You also forgot my favourite combo, Q > R > Q > Flash, giving you just that extra range for surprise Q's and such. Rather hard combo but with big payoff if you can land it. After flash you get ported back to ult, making you safe. It also proccs W on the target, letting Luden's, Q + W (maybe auto if you get in range) procc your electrocute for extra damage. Q > Hexflash > Q > release Hexflash > run forward is also a viable combo if you feel like playing around!
Otherwise pretty throughout guide, quite enjoyed it. :)

How do you play Zoe against Fizz?
Try to get Zhonya's asap and poke him whenever he cs early game, but be careful if he q and e to try and all in you. Time your ult right and the shark can go through and not stick onto you. There's a lot more tricks but pretty much your main goal while laning is roam to help other lanes, and stay distance with fizz.

god, people who throw q forward are annoying! even when going for a trick shot I hardly ever throw it at a smaller than 90 degree angle relative to what I wanna hit, the only exception would be a very tricky between minion shot, but please don't throw it forward because you're afraid the enemy is gonna wake up before it reaches them or whatever, throwing it forward is never worth it, if you're scared they will wake up, throw it backwards and don't go for the full range, but just q again instantly... also, I don't know if that's accurate, because it's not written anywhere, but it's always seemed to me, that it deals increased dmg even a second after the enemy wakes up...

Your videos could be much shorter if you'd cut on the obvious stuff. Like, explaining why flash is good on a midlaner with no escape tools, and than go over and decribe every single summoer for midlane. Same with the items. "If you are fed get rabadon, the AP is good" and "remember that if you die mejai's is bad".
Some good points, but a lot of newer players watch my videos, so its hard to balance just mentioning some items/runes/summs and explaining when its good to get them.
