Discover Mauritius and its heritage through vintage cars.
We will see how these people are not scared to spend money when it comes to their passion. Meet the president of 'S.O.S Heritage', the president of the 'Vintage Classic Car Owners Association' (V.C.C.O.A.) with his side-car, a popular farmer in the east who owns about 50 cars and his limousine which carried personalities such as Queen Elizabeth II and Indira Gandhi, the founder of 'Le Musée De La Petite Collection' and at last an ex Prime Minister's cousin who owns a wonderful place on the beach where he keeps his collection of vintage cars.

What a great video made by Cedric Choo! It covers the history of classic and vintage cars in Mauritius in much detail. Most collectable cars in Mauritius seem to be British and French. The Australian classic cars like Ford Falcon and EH Holden which made great taxis in Mauritius have disappeared. Still the collection is amazing given the size and isolation of the island.
