Loved seeing the bison. You tend not to see many of them around in the wild anymore in Australia or maybe I am looking in the wrong places. They have got a bit scarce, I think. A bit like bunyips, they are a bit scarce these days also. Just remember this old saying from the wild west days of America - "When harassed by a bison, Call Mike Tyson".

Stay at Highfields Pioneer Park. Toowoomba. Get the old bloke to open the vehicle and fire station shed. There lots of history there. You can camp there. $25.00 per night last year.

Dang, the person who bakes in that bakery needs to be sent back to "Pie School"! How hard is it to make a half-decent pie? Good call Emily - send the pie back. Once, Bertha cooked Swedish meatballs and gravy. It was the worst Swedish meatballs that I had ever had. There were heaps of meatballs left over so I thought I would feed them to my Jack Russell who pretty much eats everything put in front of her. At dinner time she even gets excited when I prepare her bowl and jumps up and down on the spot in anticipation of her dinner. This is 100% true - my dog smelled the meat balls, looked at me then back down to her bowl. Then looked at me again. Then realised I wasn't giving her anything else so she turned around and walked back into the lounge without even tasting the meatballs. Cheers Brian. They were seriously, the worst meat balls ever.

@@jeepinoz But seriously, Bertha can cook many different food recipes. The trick is to make sure you don't eat whatever Bertha cooks. But you will never hear me say a bad word about Bertha's cooking. I have a long memory. Especially, the memory of Bertha hitting me with a 4 Wood golf club the last time I suggested she do the world a favour and never touches a pot or pan ever again. Cheers Brian.

The chef went over to France and learned the French way how to bake and make pies and all sorts..
