She's one of my favourite characters of "Grace and Frankie". Love her!
Pfeifferd94 I know! I love her character
She's so funny! I love her!
Pfeifferd94 me too but her character is really messed up when it comes to her personal life
Her character is up there with grace and Frankie. Great timing always
Sexy beautiful lady
I want a spin off from her character in Grace and Frankie
x2 Netflix listen to your audience
She and Barry actually get married
Plane lady was lucky she didn't go FULL BRIANNA on her hynee
Ikr? Lol :D
Yea because she would kill her. 😂😂
Omg this woman is so funny i just lost everything when she said "i see you " I was not prepared for that. And i love her in G&F she is so cold i love that
she’s literally every character she has ever played... and i’m all here for it and her!!!!!!!!!
hahaha, really, I saw most of his films in nearly a month and if this "standup" is a function of their characters.
She's kind of like her character on Grace and Frankie. I love it.
Dont mind Kim Katrall has turnad down filming SATC III, this actress could easily play Samantha
Omg! Yes yes yes
Omg I can't unsee that now
Oh, God, yeses! She's looks like Kim's daughter
Shes so intimidating but i like her. I love her in grace and frankie too
Never knew she was a comedian but I LOVE her
Having grown up in Canada, I can attest that even we think that whoever had the idea to create a civilization up there should be remembered as one of history's greatest monsters.
Indeed! In Québec, we even have a French song essentially telling my European ancestor, 'Cartier, If only you'd sailed a little south we could be basking in the tropics!' LOL (Not a direct lyrics quote.)
i agree. i say us white people pack up and move back to europe. the natives can have their stolen, frozen land back.
Ah yes. European colonialists are definitely up there with history’s greatest monsters.
@@robertcartier5088 Charlebois ;-)
@@lunarmodule6419 yep!
i would love to see her own standup show
She’s giving me a Samantha from Sex and the city vibe with this look!
one of the funniest ladies in hollywood. shes amazing on the "how did this get made" podcast.
Tynnyfer!!! Oh look, it’s Xanax o’clock.
you're like Skinny mother teresa
How crazemazing does she look?
Brianna is the snarkiest character of the whole show. She's my favorite.
She should play Samantha in the SATC movie!
I KNOW, RIGHT? I thought the same.
The thumbnail looked like Kim Cattrall.
It is Kim Catrall she's just testing out her new identity
Yep - if they ever need to recast Sex In The City... wait, no...no please don't do that.
intrsoul yea lol
Came for this comment. I was like huh?
I love her character in grace and frankie .. she ia amazing.. ❤
JUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNE!
ZOOOOOOOKS
"What's it's mission?"
Was looking for the other HDTGM fans ahahaha
What, exactly, IS a street fighter?
She can be Samantha Jones if Sex and the City gonna re-cast.
I love Grace and Frankie
She is very funny and pretty!
I really love her. She was fantastic on Party Down and Burning Love.
Wow, she looks beautiful!
That dress!!
Love her she is so funny in grace and frankie😘
Great interview! Loved this one. 😂
Cutting teeth is never pleasant, regardless of where the baby is. Plus, childs' eustachian tubes in their ears are not fully developed so it's painful for them.
Magnificent story. I like her!
Whoever she is.
LOVE HER!
JUUUUUUUUUNNNNEEEEE!!!!!
literally.
As a Canadian I can agree that it gets way to cold here to even live.
Such negative comments, as a mother I totally understand her reaction. We were all children once, a little empathy goes a long way. There are children in the world and there always will be. Be empathetic and love...
+Srabonti: word. You get it
Keep your whiny brat at home if you can't control it!
Freeride Forever are you saying families with children should refrain from leaving home for 7 to 8 years? What about cases of emergencies. Show empathy you receive empathy, otherwise you will just end up miserable. I am so sorry for you. Get well soon.
Srabonti Bandyopadhyay And yet the likes of you don't consider empathy for people in your vicinity. If you can't plan alternative means of dealing with a crisis you've failed as a human being.
Srabonti Bandyopadhyay Sure but you should be able to handle a nasty look if your baby is crying nonstop.
I think she's very pretty. I like that shes not super skinny too
Paul Scheer snagged HER???
shit, man...... respect....
One of my favourite anecdotes is that someone saw them together at a party and said "It's like Paul made himself a wife using Weird Science"
For real doe
She’s so pretty
I love Montreal in the winter!
Her baby saved that ladies life.
You're right.
That was pretty aggressive.
Using your brat to harass someone minding their own business is perfectly ok!👌
Christian if I were a new mother and someone got an attitude with me because my kid was crying which is something I can(not) control they would be risking their lives. meant to say can not control
MrChrisMDong I'm not a mother I'm a teenager and wow you have some issues.
you have problems get help
June D. R. rocks my world! I would love to have her as a neighbor.
Stunning
hahaha that ending was amazing, by when is June's stand up special on Netflix???
She is hilarious in Grace and Frankie!
Love her!!!
She has great humor
I just love her!
Welcome to Canada! Yes, the weather is horrific!
"Its soo cold"
Me living in Winnipeg thinking its been mildly warm this whole winter. "Mhmm" *sips coffee*
I love her in Grace and Frankie!
I see you, too Miz June...and you are beautiful.
Jeez I didn't know Christine Baranski had a younger sister . . .
I know this is old comment but so true! They should be cast as family in tv/movie!
She’s my favorite on the show and now even more. Good for her.
1:05 funny you should say that, I’ve been living in Montreal for the past years and I’m gonna move this summer!!
Love her
I love you! I love your voice! I love how gracefully you move. You are beautiful woman inside and outside!
I love you June!
Hysterical
I L❤️VE her dress!!
We had an extremely long cold snap this winter lol we were ALL stuck inside :(
Good for her! My ex housemate grew up with her.
I've started throwing dinner parties in the hopes that they will become hip enough to accommodate June and Paul as guests.
Just remember, every one of us was once a teething, fussy toddler that tested someone's patience.
damn straight ;)
Totally, from what I understand, the change in air pressure that makes your ears pop is unbearable to toddlers. I wonder if it would be possible to make a small (portable) playpen nook with better pressure regulation for babies to rest in so they can be content and prevent this kind of hassle for everyone. The only other solution I can think of is to take Amtrak, but let's face it, not everyone has that kind of time to devote to travel, and even Amtrak can have ear-popping if you need to go across the Rockies or what have you. Eh. I'm sure plenty of people far smarter than myself have tried to find a solution, and the lack of one makes me think it's unfeasible for one or more reasons, so I suppose we're stuck with just dealing with it. Bleh.
False. My mom has always bragged that I was never causing scenes. Also, I never asked for life so you can't pull that shit on me.
MrChrisMDong dude chill, I was imagining something like a stroller with climate control for the baby's comfort. Geez. Perhaps take a breather before replying if something gets your blood up, this isn't worth working yourself up over. Please take a few fo have a nice cup of chamomile, if you're still upset tomorrow, please accept my apologies. My only intent is to try and help the situation by offering some insight as a former nanny, afterschool teacher, and current public school voulenteer of the arts, not make people upset.
+Mr Dong: aaand... you're at it again.
Don't think I defended June. Sympathised, perhaps, but my first kid simply slept or was breastfed through flights, so I admit I'm in a privileged position in that regard (the second was never flight-tested, but after a certain age I gather Phenergan has worked wonders on some fussy little people on long-haul flights. I'm not advocating it, but it was suggested by a very good doctor I know). Hey, I sympathised with the sneering woman who gave June attitude too, actually! You never know what stress others are going through and pray you'll just remember to remain empathetic and not flare up when someone else gets stroppy. A little sympathy goes a long way :)
But you go on projecting, hon, with all those sweeping generalisations. Sounds like you've got me all worked out - regardless of evidence. Have fun with that!
omg, i love that dress!!!!
I guess she’s the same Brianna in life as she is in Grace&Frankie , behaves and talks so similar hahaha
She is like the real life Lorelei Gilmore...love her!!
I love her
My spirit animal/person!
I, a person who has lived in Montreal for 10 years, can attest to the fact that I have wondered how people live here many times
I 💞 her 🤣😂
shes awesome on grace and frankie
love u june
I wish her stylist would have gotten her a proper fitting bra for this look. It's a gorgeous dress.
Wow people reacted weirdly to this interview. It's called comedy??? Also, she's obvs a good story teller. Grace and Frankie is brilliant, they dont need to talk about it if she can bring the funny in another way.
It was not normal cold in montreal XD
she is awesome !!!
I'm from Montreal and the same exact thoughts go through my mind when I visit home. -30 there this winter...... not for humans is right!
I’m from Montreal, and I ask myself at least once a day during the winter why anyone continues to live here...usually while scraping ice off my windshield
The funniest part of Grace and Frankie
Hahaha? -20C that's a mild day in QC during the winter.
Lol!!.. I live in the Montreal.
Stephen pronounced her last name right
MrChrisMDong,
Actually, it should be closer to Rah-fah-el. There is no 'EYE' sound in there at all, except perhaps in a few of your more ignorant-sounding american accents. So before calling anyone dumb, you should probably know that. (Y'all know who you are... don't all get offended at once, now.)
But seriously, my take on this is that she has every right to call herself whatever she wants...
And, my rights include smirking when she corrects my proper pronunciation of the word. I think it's hilarious to act offended when I 'mispronounce' someone's name and they are the ones who insist on using those sounds incorrectly. But no, I'm the one who should know better? Ha!
Stein? St-een? St-yne? -- don't know, don't care. You want it to sound different? No problem -- spell it differently! Pretty simple, one would think.
Gee, I wonder how many times she had to tell them to get her name right.
___________________________________________________________________
Hi, I'm not a grammar-Nazi... but I sometimes play one on CZcams. ;-)
MrChrisMDong
Interesting how aside from the "eye" sound, which is still doubtful (The only Italians using a y sound there are probably American-Italians who never actually lived in Italy and didn't learn Italian there), you seem to be agreeing with what I was saying about pronouncing things the way they are spelled. Or did you not read that far?
Anyway, as far as being a 'douche', or an 'asshole', let me just remind you who it was that was calling another user dumb for just pointing out that Colbert was saying it properly. And you used cartoon characters to make your point... It's a little late for you to start playing the reasonable one now, don't you think? LOL
MrChrisMDong,
Did we not agree, above, that spelling should have a huge effect on how words are sounded? And here you are with a tasty confection that is spelled differently... And you seem to believe it vindicates your notion that the original spelling we argued about should sound the same...? Huh?
Then, in another questionable move, you send me to a website where an English-speaker is, again, assuming that there should be an 'EYE' sound in Raphael. Sorry, I don't buy it.
I don't know why you are trying to pronounce the letters A and E as if they belonged to the same syllable. You can dip-yur-thong all you like, there are 3 syllables in Raphael, and none of them includes both an A and an E! Therefore, your Y sound to propel the EL sound at the end is nonexistent. There is no good reason for it.
I will not cherry-pick from some wiki... Instead, I submit into evidence the fact that many cultures will even use an umlaut on the E to show it should be a separate sound.
Don't you see?
Say, are you deaf as WELL as dumb and blind?
(Until now there had been no personal insults in my posts...
-- But since you can't help yourself, I thought I'd reciprocate just a little.)
+Robert Cartier: even if I disagreed with everything you said (I don't), I'd like you for your class and humour... such a lovely contrast to the endless belligerence of that Dong fellow.
He really is a very sad little man... who is all over the comments on this video. I think he's on some bizarre personal crusade. Never mind :)
Regards
Maude
There's another one of your assumptions gone astray...
You said, "The only language that uses umlauts are Germanic ones" -- That statement is false!
French, not a Germanic language, uses the umlaut... As if they'd gone out of their way to prove you're just full of bullshit. How are you gonna dip and thong you way out of that little lie, Smart-Ass? You seem to think you are teaching someone here... I too can copy and paste from Wikipedia. I read those exact words, in that exact order, describing what a dip thong was at the wiki page... Impressive.
Having worked many years in one of the most diverse cities in the world, I can tell you that not all umlauts are created equal. The umlaut, as used in Raphaël, is over the E, not your weird combo letter that nobody uses anymore, but a single letter. It affects the letter it is attached to and stresses the need to pronounce that letter (or following syllable containing that letter) separately from the previous syllable. No bridge effect is needed, nor desired.
And the candy does NOT "merely has an extra syllable at the end", it also has a double F instead of the PH... Those are not designed to sound the same, dip-th-shit! --> Raffa, and Rapha are NOT the same!
Nice try bullying your way into winning this argument. Didn't work.
She's very funny!
I so love you Brianna!!!!
you can find a revenge with a baby cry. funny stuff.
Note to Airlines: I'd pay extra to have a flight with no screaming kids.
Nope. Let them pay more: Exclusive Baby Friendly Flights, just $50 more.
Once a day, smaller plane, ONLY for parents with kids under 3. It won't work for all destinations but it's a start!
And Free chill-pill for kids over 3 who need to fly with the rest of us... Ok, that last bit is harsh. lol
actually, +M. Cartier, that's one of the most practical (and only real!) suggestions I've seen on here. Like the movie sessions for parents with "babes in arms". Price would have to be a reasonable proportionate percentage of an adult ticket, but given the probability of smaller numbers carried on such a specific flight, it might even free up more seats for parents laden with children and their requirements!
I'm not even that opposed to the free "chill-pill" as an option (there are valid mild sedation/travel sickness meds for kids) - I expect the legality of providing it would be tricky though!
When I was flying as a child an activity pack, ready supply of something to chew on (for ear problems) and in-flight radio were enough for me... Interactive in-flight entertainment is good these days. Let's face it though: long-haul flights in coach usually force us close together for prolonged periods and we all need a bit of patience to deal with them. I say grab your noise-cancelling earphones, a great book and a healthy dose of sympathy for human frailty and settle in for the joys of sleep-deprivation and jet-lag ;)
A long, but fair assessment of the drawbacks of such a project.
Aw, man! -- Fiscal reality is such a downer!
C'mon, Dong, do you HAVE to be the wet blanket everywhere you go?! lol
+Chrissiola: don't know if it helps at all in a discussion about discrimination and air-carriers, but last I heard at least 4 airlines were selling "quiet zones" - usually where kids under 12, often, aren't permitted - and Malaysia Airlines also has no kids permitted at all on at least some First Class services.
So, it's already a thing: right?
Since this can never be enacted without it blowing up in the Airline's face, I guess all we can do is shoot ENTITLED parents like her dirty looks. (Let her come at me! I sass back). I have empathy for the kid. Kids exists, teething is awful, and kids get noisy. I DON'T get parents who feel it's their RIGHT to be awful and aggressive just because THEIR kid is making them and everyone around them miserable.
If I decided that I really needed to bring an angry badger on the plane (maybe I needed to do it to save a species, or something), it's still my burden to bare if it messes itself, makes irritating noises, and pisses off the rest of the passengers. I have no right to get mad at the badger's victims. My critter, my responsibility, and I'd need to humble myself and apologize because that's the CONSIDERATE thing to do.
If this lady showed remorse, like "Oops, I shouldn't have done that, but man I was stressed." Ok. But there's zero remorse.
We need more people like the nice folks that handed out treats and ear plugs to the passengers because their kid was teething, not people like this lady.
lol i thought she was kim cattrall from the thumbnail
Yeeeahhh!!!!
and the beautiful June
she has amazing eyes...
Extremely cold is understatement in Saskatchewan. Sometime -50 C ( I don’t know F)
JUUUUUUUUUNE!
If Montreal is too cold, dear god, don’t go to the prairies.
5:25 "I see you, *skxawng* ."
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow great interview. Colbert really laid down the hard questions.
I love her.
She is funny!😂
The interview was too short. Recall her. Bring her back
Shes class 😍
Colbert looks exhausted.
