I want to see the process of dying the paper! What a great idea of reusing avocado skins to dye paper. Thanks for sharing 😊

I found your video helpful. Although it was the first time I heard about adding cold water to bring out more colour. I have experimented with many things to achieve interesting colour results. For example dried onion skins, purple cabbage, tea, which by the way varies greatly between different brands. As well as coffee. Thanks again for sharing. Look forward to adding ice water to my next batch 😊

I'm so glad to know it was helpful. It's how we make our cinnamon tea and thought, why not try it with avocado too. Hehe it worked. Thank you for being here and watching my videos.

Hi there, i was watching other avocado dyeing, after the water boils, they said to add one tsp of baking soda, Natasha from Treasure Books has an awesome video, maybe this will help you to achieve a darker color, good luck 🙏

Now I'm thinking of all the avocado skin that has gone to waste in my home lol, we also eat a lot of avocado. I have never tried avocado dyeing. I don't know why I always kind of thought it was a bit intimidating for some reason. I would definitely love to see how you actually dye papers and fabrics!

I collect skins slowly so want to know how best to store them before I use them to make dye. Do you have a good way?

Hi, thanks for watching. I've kept my skins in the freezer. 😊😉 Hope that helps.
