Congrats brother… nice car. I’ve been looking for one myself. I’m in South Florida and have found a few 1 or 2 owner cars with excellent maintained history that still look almost brand new. There’s a 2010 S550, black on black with the AMG package with only 44,000 miles on it. Now given the low mileage they’re asking a pretty premium for it. There’s a few other 2008 & 2010 S550s I’ve found that are also 1 or 2 owner cars with excellent maintenance history with 80-100k miles on them for great prices. You have to be a bit patient but nice ones do come up for sale like the ones I described. I would advise having a PPI done just for some added security before buying as even though you’re buying a nice used S550 for say $10-$15k, god forbid something big needs to be fixed, you’re still repairing a six figure car. Forgive me for my rant but nice car man and great price. I hope you get many years of enjoyment from it!

I agree bro, you can come across good cars that have been well taken care, sometimes the key is to be patient and keep searching and make sure you get that pre purchase-inspection when before buying a car from a 3rd party. I honestly love the points that you brought up about being patient when searching for a used car, because people do list good cars that have been well taken care of. I think your other point for pre inspection is great bro, this will save you money and problems that may come in the early future. But my wife told me to stay patient and keep searching and one day i found this one in the video and we knew this was the one. So I totally agree with you man, being patient, you can find some good cars out there.
Bought a 2013 s550 about 5 months ago. Love the car. Drives extremely smooth. So much room and so quiet that you can whisper going on the freeway. Now, every car i get in seems incomparable. Had one strut fail, so i changed out all 4 plus compressor and valve block just so i dont have to worry about the other three.
Congrats Brother! I see your S550 from the picture and the car looks great, love it. These S550's are built amazing. I am the same way, after experiencing sitting in a S550, its hard to go back lol. That's so true, the s550 has so much space and the drive is very quiet. They are land yachts. That's a good idea that you switched out all 4 struts and took care of the compressor and valve block, so that way you don't have to worry about it later. Over time with age, the air struts start going bad if they have not already been changed out. Thanks for sharing 🙂.
Hi, What city or state are you in? I would definitely recommend looking on "facebook marketplace" and "offer up". Those are the 2 places I usually check when I am looking for cars.
