- Two police officers and three members of the public were rushed to hospital after reports a car had driven into a home in Hainault , shortly before 7am on Tuesday. The Metropolitan Police later confirmed a 14-year-old boy died had in hospital and the two officers will require surgery for serious injuries. Footage captured moments before police arrested a 36-year-old man, shows the knife wielding thug, dressed in a yellow hoodie, stood on top of a garage roof before entering a resident's garden.Dramatic footage shows suspect being tasered moments before he is arrested. #Hainault #sword #Murder

He wasn’t pushing him you idiot. He was holding the back of his colleagues body armour so that he could pull him back away from the suspect quickly if the suspect began to fight whilst being cuffed. He has his baton raised above his head to strike the suspect and keep him down. It is an ‘officer safety’ technique and your criticism displays the woeful lack of ignorance that the general public have about these matters. By the way , I’ve no doubt you would have been running in the opposite direction. These officers pursued him despite the fact that he’d already killed a child and maimed two police officers. It’s a routine / procedure most likely. The baton was a layer of protection and the other officer was being pushed / had his back used as support so that the officer with the baton was close enough that should the man with the machete move they could whack him with the baton

He randomly drives across the pavement into an apparently innocent passer by, the van comes to a stop on the side of a house, he jumps out and what happened next happened next.

Spot on. There is plenty of evidence that Police officers are not receiving the appropriate training in dealing with violent and public order incidents. The Police Officers are now at huge risk to their own and colleagues safety. Blame the Home Office who changed the complete training and education of recruit Police Officers. In 2004-2005.
Armed police needed to be there first instead of unarmed officers! This country needs stronger police for all aspects of safety..
