Why is EDM slowly dying? I see every release of every EDM Channel/Music Group on CZcams(that i know) slowly losing viewers. Monstercat still holds up, and DubstepGutter i growing, but still there's not so much population since a few years ago. Major Lazer said that EDM is during, and will blend with normal Pop music. He also said that it was a "good thing". I really don't get what he meant by that. Am i an idiot and just stick to the same old channels that's getting too old or something?

+manugrows No i mean all EDM is losing it's popularity. The artist will probably go on as long as they can, but EDM Channels/Music Groups are losing it's popularity. Spinnin' Records and Ultra Music continues being mainstream because they release the most radio friendly music. Dubstep, Drum And Bass an other heavy and or hybrid EDM genres are losing it's popularity and aren't mainstream anymore. I Will Continue using the channels i use, but for others it's losing it's touch, and that's sad.
Game over Pop music IS 80% EDM. That's the first fact. Second fact is that EDM will never die. Maybe it'll lose some fans but there will always be fanatics like me. ALWAYS.
+Game over Dubstep and DnB are just a bitt passed because they were mainstream. Now it's Future House. People are getting rid of Future House so let's wait for the other mainstream genre haha
And a lot of pop music are actully EDM.

Game over Its not that EDM is declining, its just becoming more underground. Which is really a good thing as it falls in to obscurity new sounds and styles are produced to create the next big wave. It actually helps creativity.
