For the past 12 years, journalist Paul Moreira has traveled extensively in Iraq. In this personal film, he goes in search of the men he filmed back in 2003, at the very beginning of the American occupation. Through their stories, and by tracing the roots of ISIS to the arrival of Abu Mousab Al-Zarqawi and America’s handling of the resistance, he tells the story of how Iraq became such a fractured nation. He also explains how events in Iraq came to trigger attacks in Europe.

We sent our men to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan. They soon learned what a pointless endeavor it was. After realizing what they were participating in, they came home with deep regrets and confusion about what is right and wrong. These men are now suffering mentally and physically. For what?
For the rest of the world and half of their own country to hate them and USA as a whole for a long, long time.

You you don't have to travel to Iraq or Afghanistan to observe the hypocrisy of the United States government. The criminal justice system is is full of examples that epitomize the same pathology.
I served in the Army and deployed to Baghdad twice. I dont blame anyone for trying to fight us because we were invading their country. I would do the same. I recognize a few of the locations in this video. Iraq is a beautiful country with wonderful people. I feel terrible about what we did to the people there. Im sorry for my involvement and wish nothing but love to the Iraqi people.

without the censorship youtube would have taken this video down. at the very least demonetized it; that's how it is on here now. They are mostly popular videos, like the one showing a U.S. Black-hawk shooting down unarmed civilians and journalists. I agree that not seeing the footage takes away from the story. It's not the creators' fault though, I bet it bothered them to blur those scenes too. Probably even more than it bothers us. ;)

its really sad to know what's happening in the world. It's really tragic to imagine that when your living your life to fullest or living a comfortable life with tons of opportunities surrounding you for your future but still you're complaining about stuffs meanwhile there are people in the other part of the world who are at war everyday. we really take peace and things that we have in our life for granted. my heart aches for those kids who had to face such a tragedy and got to know the world full of chaos and tragedy and war.

How can I watch ENDEVR Documentaries without the censored images?
Their videos are trash. They fill every production with blurred images. I have tried to watch video after video but this is pointless. If I want to hear words and see nothing I'll turn on a radio.
