Yes Gautrain uses Bombardier trains, I think assembly happens here in South African now.

Great visual and narration - my advice would be to get a pop filter for your microphone to avoid the harsh sounds from pronouncing words that start with P. But otherwise informative - will definitely try this next time in SA

I don’t know about that when you compare Asia and Africa to some European countries now a days you can tell US and European infrastructure is decaying badly rats 🐀 and rust everywhere along with all kinds of littered trash everywhere.

I'm planning a birthday trip to Capetown from Botswana in a few months and I'm very confused about whether Uber will be better or Gautrain from the airport? and in general which mode of transport is cheaper in SA. Uber or Trains? I came across MyCiti, does it work like Gautrain and where do i board that?

Gautrain Electrostars are amazing.
Incorrect pronunciation of Gautrain, but don't worry about it because a lot of South Africans pronounce it incorrectly as well. 😅😅 Gautrain, is derived from the province's name Gauteng, which means place of Gold. The Tswana/Sotho word for Gold is 'Gauta'. Gauta probably traces its origins back to the Afrikaans term for Gold, "Goud". Gauta and Goud have similar pronunciations of the 'G'. Hence, it's easier for Afrikaans speaking people to say Gauteng/Gautrain correctly. Full circle stuff. 😎😎

If your bank card can tap, you can use it to travel the same way she used her gautrain card

There are 7 stations you can take the train from Any station to another or from one end to the other end...
