I'm graduating in Forestry Engineering and show this video to one of my teachers and he get crazy by the game! Haha
I'm a disaster trying do forestry in the game, but I love the machinery.
Just what I needed, I so want to do forestry when I get FS17.
The jenz ba725 is actually selfpropelled in reallife. It has two small rollers infront of the wheels which rolls the main wheels so it can be repositioned without the use of a truck or tractor.
Daggerwin you should get a fendt when your into the series for spraying with narrow wheeles

So with all the equipment mounted tree cutting devices and the posts from Giants in regards to the server software, we can assume they didn't fix the lag or logging issues associated with multiplayer. The Sampo logger also likes to blow apart the joints on the arm while using it... hopefully they fix that in a more timely manner than it took them to fix the high tip bucket in 15.
Quad HD? Holy sh*t I love it! Full HD is awesome but Quad HD uploads are just sick :D
Hey daggerwin, it's called a grapple in forestry rather than a crane or sometimes a loader or boom loader.
That new chipper will be helpful, when I play the game tomorrow morning (digital pre order) I will buy it right away in case giants has an update and changes the price of it

Daggerwin, you have just made me buy fs17 because it looks good, I wanted to preorder it but I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy it at all so thanks :)
I did notice that hte Ponsse buffalo and scorpion don't have the tracks on anymore, just chevron style tires
Just a heads up Daggerwin. In the mods tab Giants have created a crop destruction mod for any other wheel type other than thin or care wheels. Think you mentioned something about what wheels to choose. Keep up the good work!

Hello daggerwin thanks for the FS17 videos, I'v watched your FS17 tractors video and it looks as if you may have over looked a forestry tractor for this video. Valtra have been making forestry tractors for many years and it seems like the N174 in the tractor video is forestry spec.

What I noticed is that the Ponsse vehicles don't have the tracks on them, but instead they changed them into just wheels.

daggerwin, the tracks have been removed in fs17 on the buffalo and scorpion king, in fs15 they both have tracks

The scorpion king doesn't have tracks over the wheel but in rd 15 it does
my dad has that enormous chipper. You can move it forwards and backwards via remote control

I think that the challenger is the best tractor for the stump grinder because it has good steering

anyone else notice that the tracks are gone from the Scorpion there at 7:40? 7:38ish? I wonder if that's an option or if they removed them irl... just curious. Just different than it was in FS15.
why didn't you show of the valtra n series? :), in game it is fitted with the protective rof lift bar and rear glass roof for forestry work, in reale life you can also get it with an steel diesel tank and overall valtra is probably the best forestry traktor direct from factory.

Is there a lot of custom work for the big one I have 15 and sold all farm and went to forest work it pays better how a few concerns is there tracks for the buffalo and the other also my problem is hill climbing what tractors can pull up hill and not slow or not make it up the small log hauler is my question

this trail forestry grab, or however you call it isnt to good with have trees as is swinging to to side
this sampo rosenlew hr46x has this part to grab and cut the tree other way around then fs15 scorpionking, how does it work?

Daggerwin Im very curious, do you know if the lagg in multiplayer has been fixed in FS17? In FS15, it was a pain for non-hosting people to play because lag caused the vehicles to drive uncontrolled for some seconds causing accidents and such.. I really hope it gets fixed in 17!

since yo have the game, can you see if the new Holland discbine only swings to the left or does it swing to the right cause if not that will be really annoying
quick question. I do you get manual ignition to work? I don't know how to do it. I press the engine start/stop button but it doesn't turn the vehicles on or off. Just wondering how you got it to work. thanks

I'm relatively new to the farming simulator world can you actually sell old equipment? I would like to get new headers and Harvesters and all that stuff but I don't want to have to buy a bunch of new ones and then have a bunch of old unused ones just sitting around on my property taking up space. So can I actually sell older Harvesters or other pieces of equipment?
can the big jenz chipper stay running when not inside of it?
The JCB Dlc should be on PS4 when it's out and unlimited money when we start a game cos the pc can do that
