I used to hate these sounds as a kid, and when i became a young-adult. Now I miss this era, man. Simpler times. I'm glad video and voice chatting is so much easier (and better) now, but I just miss the whole era of Skype, back when me and my friends were still playing BO2, Halo Reach, Minecraft, and GMod. I hardly see any of them anymore, and hearing these sounds just reminds me of those times.
Discord is cool and all, but man, I really miss the old Skype days.

I used to Skype with a friend from college... A LOT! After MS bought Skype we stopped using it. Hearing these sounds again gave me a nostalgia rush. I used to hear these old sound effects a lot :)

i was a skype kid! i used to join skype calls with all of my xbox friends when i was 13 14 years old! we used to play Minecraft send videos and memes and make youtube videos over skype! it was fun! i miss old skype! i have nothing but fond memories of those days! hearing these sounds brings a huge smile to my face!
