How Apple’s Top 100 Albums List is BAD…

So in this video I spoke on how Apple Music just released their full top 100 albums of all time list out of any genre. Most people on Twitter were pretty upset on the placement of these albums especially Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp A Butterfly" or the acronym TPAB album for short isn’t on Apple’s Top 100 List.
I also discussed about how Lauryn Hill’s album “Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill” being no. 1 over Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” or Taylor Swift’s “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” album being higher than Nas’s “Illmatic”, 2Pac’s “All Eyez On Me”, or even 50 Cent’s “Get Rich or Die Tryin' albums.

To Pimp a Butterfly has not aged well sonically, however, thematically and conceptually it seemed at the time to be a crucial stepping stone to elevate the art form, along with Kumasi Washington and Anderson Paak. That was a very exciting period, but the ways of the world have a way of diminishing such cultural opportunities.

@@destruktow5891 the production sounds flat, hollowed out, outdated on some tracks. The best way I can describe what I hear now is like certain 80’s albums, state of the art sounds simply not holding up across time

Honestly I’ll say almost literally half of it. There’s only a few good list entries like the Kendrick one but the rest of the albums are badly ranked or some needed to be just swapped out.

Dowhop is weakest song on Lauren Hills Album.
I actually don't have a problem with her being #1.
It's a production masterpiece of creativity, with an abundance of emotion and personal reflection of life, not just for herself but for BLACK People specifically.
But I think most of all I've always enjoyed what she gave us in between each song. lLstening to the youth explain, what they think love, is, what it feels like, and why as humans need that specific connection. These renditions of thoughts and feelings between songs is unparrelled, smile producing, and gave the the listener a sense of hope from the future leaders of the world.
