The story of the Good Samaritan is found only in the gospel of Luke but is probably the most familiar parable that Jesus taught. Despite how many, even secular sociologists, have used this parable to motivate people to do good deeds, it’s really not about that. It’s about eternal life. Jesus helps us to understand how to love God and love people through a personal relationship with Him.
00:00 - Welcome
00:42 - Introduction
24:55 - 1) If we could love perfectly we would be perfect; since we can’t, we arent’, and therefore we need a Savior for eternal life
26:07 - 2) Loving your neighbor as yourself has been elevated to the higher command to love one another as Christ has loved you
28:20 - 3) Be that neighbor who shows mercy to those who need mercy in order to obtain mercy yourself

"Sometimes we have to get our hands dirty to help people"
*AMEN!* 🙏
Wonderful message of truth and deep insight!
Great message.
Another wonderful message! ❤
Love to listen to this message. I would recommend you to watch John McArthur, he gave a good insights of this Good Samaritan.
I just can't love my at present neighbours, I have tried I have prayed, but they are from the kingdom of darkness,
I’m praying you have at least been able to show the light and love of Yeshua… be the positive light in their vicinity…
Who is my neighbour?
Good question to ponder on!
🙏🏼
The Good Samaritan leaves two days worth of money to take care of the man. Jesus will return in two thousand years. The Good Samaritan story is prophecy
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man."
Matthew 24:36-37
@richardfreed7808 that is everyone's favorite verse to quote when they've made their decision to throw away prophecy. If you read Matthew 24 in its entirety it tells a different story that Jesus is telling us the signs signs and we should be watching. We just don't know the day or the hour
is samaritans considered gentiles?
