- The STB-1 has long been one of the most versatile medium in tier X, and after update 10.3 that has not changed. However, now the tank has better dpm and incredible premium AP shells, which allows it to be more effective than before. Today, I will be showcasing the STB-1 to determine how it players and whether it is one of the best mediums in tier X.

What I love about your approach to WOTB is that after every loss rather than just raging on your team you always reflect on what you might have been able to do differently/better. If only everyone would take this approach then Blitz would be a happier and more skilled community

HEAT does NOT have shell normalization at all. Their upside is that they don't lose pen through distance like AP and APCR do ant they cannot ricochet
Heat, Hesh, and He cancel angles up to 80 degrees. This is why an fv4202 can pen the entire front of a progetto 65 with Hesh and why a 268 is better at penning a 60tp than a Ho-ri.

You should do a stream strictly playing on your phone like most of the kids playing this game. It's so much easier playing on a larger screen as you can aim in on the smaller pen spots on tanks. Wonder if you would keep the same stats?
I think the AMX 30b is king tier now. Something about the gun depression on the STB1 doesn’t work for me as well as the AMX. And it’s so easy to bait shots with that wart on the top of it.
5,4k ddamage and 5 kills is only mastery class 1 on EU servers ( were 1568 baase XP )
XP depends a lot of things including spots, assisted damage, if the damage you did was on a tank spotted by yourself or someone else, etc. One time I got 3.5k damage in an STB-1 but like 5k spotting damage and that was a mastery.

Maxed out crew, crew skills, provisions, and gun rammer. To grind out ur crew mastery, uprising is coming out soon iirc, and that’ll give you a ton of xp.
should i run rammer or cs on the stb1? personally i appreciate the higher heat pen with cs but i feel like i’ll be able to do more damage with rammer? idk tbh
