You can see that Phil is choked up when the middle-aged couple get their perfect house for a bargain price and the wife is so emotional. Definitely an empathetic softie, Phil.
These are couples I nominate to go back and visit and see how they are doing, especially how the young couple made the place their own.
Well said by a viewer:
Phil and Kirsty are the friends we would all love to have
I was inspired by the couple that saved. They don't dress like they're frugal, and yet they are. "You might blow it on the kitchen." "Not a chance. e-Bay has nice kitchens." LOL I enjoy these types of couples--kind and pleasant people, not rude, not impossibly picky.
This was a great episode. Gemma and Graham give us a life lesson about saving. They are probably between 45 and 55 and their determination to save has got them mortgage-free shelter for the rest of their lives. They can be justifiably proud. Charlene and Jay are obviously energetic and motivated house project people, judging by their beautiful first house. They have time on their side and are now well set for the next phase of their family life. Four really nice human beings.
It’s always nice when there’s a happy ending for both couples.
This was a lovely, heartwarming episode with 2 beautiful couples. THANK GOD. Some of these episodes have the worst, entitled pieces of 🐮 💩 I've ever seen. This one was refreshing. Best of luck to both families!
One of the few times I've gotten misty-eyed over house-hunting success. This show is brilliant in emphasizing the human dimension of this business.
I had not seen this episode. Thanks!
The couples in this episode made this a relaxing and enjoyable watch
The Southend house is perfect! Very happy for that couple. I think the young family made the surprisingly bold choice and it's probably paying off megabucks now, 8 years later. Good on them, too!
Love the happy ending.
Phil and Kirsty are great. I loved the middle-aged couple. She put alot of faith in phil and got it at a good price .❤❤
Absolutely love this series. I so enjoy watching those ending with a purchase. Keep these coming!
A very enjoyable episod with 2 lovely couples who know what they want and what they need. And Kirsty and Phil...Thanks again.
This show is the best out of all the UK real estate shows.💛🙂
What lovely lovely people! Thank you for this. Location, Location, Location has become my comfort watch!
2024 What a wonderful surprise to see The Location Location team. Phil and Kirsty. My favourite realtors in the world 🌎. Two highly satisfied clients smiling from ear to ear. Thanks for the look in ❤❤😊
One of the nicest episodes that I have seen. I loved both couples and the places they found were lovely. Such a great show!
This is one of my favorite episodes. 🖤
I just loved this episode from 2016. Gemma and Graham are an example in living simply and enjoying life together plus great savers! So happy Phil found them this lovely home and Gemma's overwhelming joy and relief when learning the offer had been accepted had me in tears. Well desired!!! Both couples were a delight to watch! I wonder if Phil and Kristy have paid a return visit to them would love to see it if they had.
Best ever episode. Lovely couples. Great red shoes, Kirsty!
Awe did Phil really quote Bob the Builder, 😄😄
Lovely couples ❤❤
Scrimping and saving for 16 years to make a cash offer is admirable and paid off. I wonder if they can now ease up on their habits and indulge themselves a bit. For the other couple, they seem to have chosen a house with child/ren in mind but may outgrow it soon, with any new additions. In the end, both admit they could not have done it without the help of Phil and Kirstie.
As far as I can tell, they won't be indulging themselves any time soon...they looked to be shopping in a thrift store.
Love these episodes! Thanks so much!😊 from Washington State.
Real buyers no time waster’s !
Thank you for posting
Great episode! Thank you :)
You never miss 🔥
Great show. Thanks!
love his brogues
Kirsty. Really loved ur red dress with its red white and top that reminded me of really tiny squares. Sorry i love yr programmes but see things as quilt since i started. ❤ from South Africa.
Good episode!
*It was filmed in 2016, yet it's posted last month!!*
I can understand why that girl hesitates to move they have just renovated the house the way they want it, she probably feels someone else gets the joy from it after all her hard work and money, I would feel the same.
I love watching your podcast all the time.
Would you like to find us a house in Johannesburg, South Africa?
Just joking😂
look at how he looks at her!!!!! my good gosh
watched a lot of these, why are the front gardens so often paved?
Parking is very limited in the UK, and even when there is street parking, you never know where you will end up parking your car, so they pave their front yards to park off the street.
Cos they've torn out the front garden to accommodate one or more noisy chunks of steel which contribute to global warming.
It always makes me giggle what the Brits consider a "good sized" room.
@@mlk1965
The bed only had access on one side when the "good sized room" comment was made on this episode! Nothing to do with the size of the UK 🤭
@@joannahampton5979 Yes, I noticed that. Even so, the rooms are small because the majority of houses are small. This is because building land is super expensive. Very few get the luxury of space in the UK.
Everything is about the baby...only seasoned responsible parents understand.
Unbutton your top button, Dude and have the wife ditch the silly hat, lol, but WOW! Amazing savings--great, great job!!!
Kirstie wears the stranges print dresses and all the same fit. Are they all custom made?
Why do the Brits have great huge over stuffed furniture in their living rooms?
literally the same shoes she wears every time
I really dislike the home selections in this country 😒
There are many superb properties but the prices of them are extremely high
Watching this show really shows how abysmal the UK housing market is. The size of the rooms, layouts, how dull and tired everything looks. It's like buying ugly luxury items because of the brand name value, then having to customise or style it so the overall outfit looks decent. The name of the show is really apt, it is about location 🫥
Two beautiful couples... no arrogance, no nonsense, .... happy for them.... and of course, Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are the friends we all would love to have.
