News for the next event in Pokemon Go is coming! This event starts on January 27th at 12 am and runs until February 1st at 11:59 pm.
Team GO Rocket is taking over again, and Giovanni is back with a vengeance-this time alongside Shadow Kyogre! Prepare yourselves for new Shadow Pokémon, as well as the return of Shadow Ho-Oh!
Event bonuses include Go Rocket grunts appearing more often at stops and in balloons. Also trainers will be able to use a charged TM to help a shadow pokemon forget the charged attack frustration. New shadow pokemon, new showcases and new research will be available!
Field research rewards include Ekans, Zubat, Koffing, Paldean Wooper, Hisuian Qwilfish, Poochyena, Sableye, Croagunk, Scraggy, Mareanie, Bruxish and Nymble. The notes mention that field research encounters have a higher chance to be shiny than wild caught!

A lot going on during this event. Will diffidently be going after Shadow Ho-oh after work this weekend, and grinding more rockets for better shadow IV Pokemon.
