I like how Dale stays the course with the filet and his Bud Lights! I've been to the Palm in Midtown NYC, one of the best steaks I've ever had. My dad worked around the corner and was a regular there until he retired. He's got his caracature on the wall there, along with my mom. They also gave him a framed version of the artwork to take home.
One of our favorites... And their LOBSTER is also good!

Our dad loved to eat and us twins loved .steaks .We were at the supper and the steak club..This was in 1968 and we ran across our 1st gay guy at Steers .Lots of fun .we loved to eat too .Our dad spoiled us .and thank you for bringing those memories to us .We were there in the 1970s .We used to tell our dad this is really living .music food .Stars like Al Martino .Gabe Kaplan .Joan Rivers .Bobby Vinton Dionne Warwick .Chet Atkins .Floyd Cramer .Cheers .

Thanks to your channel - I will DEFINITELY hit the Golden Steer next time I'm in Vegas (plan for 2023). My go-to steakhouse that I just love - great views and service is Binion's Streakhouse - and they just re-opened. I used to go every time I was in town - and saw a lot of the same waiters over the decade plus. Truly "old school!" Thanks for sharing your videos - entertaining AND informative.

I loved the Vlog, wonderful job of displaying so many great restaurants. You always seem to make them look tempting. If it wasn’t for you we wouldn’t know how many beautiful restaurants there were in the area, without living there. The way you introduce and display them is amazing and professional. I would think by now anyone one of them would be asking you to come to there establishment and dine for free just to get this level of marketing. We watch all your Vlogs and get excited whenever you release a new one. They are extremely professional, detailed and informative. We laugh with you and we cry with you too, mainly laughter though. Well actually, many of these were filmed in 2020 and 2021, before the current inflation hit. I bet if we went now, all the menu prices would be higher.

As usual, great job. I went to to the Golden Steer in the mid 70's. A musician took me there to sooth my broken heart from a fella we both knew. I don't remember anything...but everyone went either there or Bob Taylors in those days. As usual I am misty, missing Vegas. Your friendly showgirl.

I love old school steakhouses. If it weren’t for you fine folk… this place would easily be forgotten and overlooked. Shadowed by the Strip’s big flashing lights and overpowering skyline, The Golden Steer needs to be brought back into the limelight. We will definitely make a trip to this hidden gem.
Well I think a lot of folks are aware of it, because if you don't have a reservation - forget trying to score a table! We do love showing you the historic spots, the ones not necessarily attached to a big celebrity chef, but rather those that have served the icons of Vegas. That's what we love.
Texas Roadhouse. Great sides. Pick your steak in the cooler before seating for best results.
Yep, totally agree. Delish side salad, great rolls...it's all terrific, and all included in one price. Big thumbs up.

Golden Steer is the absolute best Steak House in the Country in my Book, I’ll fly from San Antonio just to eat there.
I loved you laughing in the intro Paula. It’s sweet to see the fun you two have together, don’t ever stop or edit it out❤️I love Prime at the Bellagio, I truly think it’s underrated. We are lucky to have so much incredible food here.
We have eaten at Prime but we were with another couple, and didn't vlog it. It was fabulous though. As for keeping in the laughter...we like doing that, so you always know that we are not scripted. It's all pretty much spontaneous. :)

When we visit LV, we usually get our beef fix at Javier's in Aria. The chile negro (short ribs in a black mole-ish sauce) is the absolute focus for us as far as dinner. Sorry Dale --- no filet there, I believe. What are you going to do? (kidding of course) Plenty of wonderful margaritas though, Paula. Was The Steak House once at Bally's? We went there a few years ago but just not a fan of the Circus Circus property. We discovered Texas de Brazil last fall and it's a new obsession for us. Thank you for this video. We'll keep that in our back pockets.
We have walked past Javier's many many times, and it is always packed! There must be something great about it! And no, THE Steak House was always at Circus-Circus, forever. We kind of quit going too, because we pretty much hate to be in that hotel...
We have a Texas de Brazil near us, at Town Square, but haven't been there either. It's all you can eat, right?

A wonderful tour through the steakhouse community of Las Vegas. Particularly for the out of town visitor, the off strip venues are really good to profile as it takes a little more to get there. Even for those on the strip, its good to have a peek inside. I have walked by the Palms many times, without having a clue about what a fine place it is. Thanks again.

I've only been to one steak restaurant and that was Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak at the Mirage. Had dinner there with family and took home the left overs! :)

I make a modest living on minimum wages. I guess most good steak houses these days are out of my budget. Thank God for home cooking. I usually buy a choice cut New York or ribeye at my local supermarket when there is a sale. I also like to drink a beer and have a baked potato with corn and dinner rolls. My cost for one large steak $20 a six pack of beer $12 and sides $6 comes to a total of $38 dollars. Nothing real fancy, just good home cooking...thanks for giving me a look at Vegas steak houses. I still remember the days when a person could visit Vegas on a budget and get treated like a King. I guess those days are long gone.

I have been wanting to go to the Golden Steer, and Bob Taylor's Ranch was on my list, and then when I got to Vegas, I completely forgot about it! I would have loved to have eaten there. Perhaps I will someday soon. Oscar's is definitely on my list of Steakhouses to eat at as well. Oscar's looked fabulous. Bavette's looks really cool. The Palm looks so cool, and I remember watching this video earlier. We have a Texas Roadhouse in Roanoke, Virginia as well, and guess what!? You cannot get in!! the Bootlegger looks like my kind of place. Sinatra's looked simply awesome! I really want to go there now. Very cool. This was a great episode.

Wow we really enjoy these types of videos. And it got me to thinking back on our 30+ years of visiting Vegas.
You already know that Oscars is our absolute favorite, and we've been going there since it opened 11 years ago. But close second for a number of reasons
is Del Frisco's Double Eagle, it's off strip on Paradise ave. Other memorable "steak house" meals. Bobby Fley's Mesa Grill, Ramsey's STK, Old Homestead in Caesars "hurry it's being replaced"
And one very special night meeting our new friends at Spago a year ago.
We went to Spago on Sunday night, and were looking for you...where were you??? BTW, yes, Dale ordered a...wait for it...filet mignon!! :)

This video is, what's the word for it, AMAZING!😂It prompts this question, have you ever been to, or have any desire to, visit The Top of The World restaurant atop The Stratosphere and do a vlog? I know you mentioned in one video that Dale is not fond of high places, but I thought perhaps that's only when outside such as on the observation deck at the Eiffel Tower at Paris Hotel, or on a balcony, rather than an enclosed structure. You mentioning how busy the Texas Roadhouse is reminds me of what baseball legend Yogi Berra once said about one of his favorite restaurants--"Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded!"🤣As for my "go-to" chain restaurants when it comes to steak, I too like Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse (none in Las Vegas--yet. The closest to you are in Arizona and Southern California), and Outback Steakhouse, which began just up the road from me in Tampa, Florida.
I have been to Top of the World, with my brother when he was in town on business - but no, Dale is not going up there lol! I would definitely go back for a special occasion (although, there are so many wonderful spots here to celebrate special occasions, it's hard to pick.)
We go to Outback every week, on Mondays, love it. We LOVE Longhorn, but we have to go all the way to Scottsdale, AZ, to find one! (Worth the trip)

The only ones I’ve ate at are Bavette’s and Texas Roadhouse! Both good! My favorite so far in Vegas is probably Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio!
We went there just about a year ago, with some friends, sat on the patio - it was wonderful! But, since we were with someone we didn't vlog it. Great spot, great steaks.
Outstanding video! I agree, Texas Road House is a great value and so good. Back in the early 90's, Binions had a great steak down stairs from their ranch. It was $5.95 and people were complaining because they just raised the price from $3.95. It was a New York Strip, very thick and delicious. I prefer the filet but this price was a bargain as was delicious and I never forgot it. Wish I went with you on your STEAKPALUZO!
We would have loved to have you along! We hear that Binion's is reopening their steakhouse, and lots of viewers have recommended we add that to our second round - we intend to.

I've been to a lot of Vegas steakhouses and would put Capital Grille right near the top. Yes it's a chain but the reviews aren't wrong. A cab driver recommended it around 20 yrs ago and I regret taking so long to try it. Sinatra is next on our list! Thanks for the video!

It sure does...but unfortunately, as we said in the outro - we had never vlogged it, and it was too late to grab a reservation last week.
Thank you for the video of your favorite steakhouses. My brother in law lives in Vegas, and we usually get to go to local restaurants at least once during our visit, along with our Strip favorites, such as Mon Ali Gabi at Paris. We rarely get to steakhouses, though. I will have to chat with him about your video. If I am craving the best filet in LV, I will be definitely asking Dale. lol. Side note: I doubt Al Capone ate at the Golden Steer as he died 11 years before it opened, but I am sure other mobsters did. Thanks again!

I enjoyed this video. I don’t eat a lot of steak but I do enjoy going to steak restaurants occasionally. We have quite a few Texas Roadhouse restaurants where I live and I stopped going because I feel like the quality went down however I’m glad you are still enjoying them in Nevada.
Well we would if we could ever get in lol...luckily though, in a place like Las Vegas, there is no shortage of other options for steak - literally at any price point!
Good video. I'm a cheapo. I go to magnolia house in the four Queens casino Fremont street. Prime rib around $17 and comes with a baked potato. If you park at the four Queens they will validate your parking that's worth 10 to $12 right there you end up with a $7 prime rib
