BUBBLES BURST:
In 1983
In a Texas facility
He was just a few months old when they
Told him he was sold
They flew the primate pet
Upon a private jet
And off to Neverland where he
Met the impish man
Feasting on candy
And dressed like a dandy
Bubbles was treated
Like no other chimpanzee
Transported to a planet made of toys, bananas, and games
Childhoods end
And Bubbles burst
We met in the arcade
Playing video games
We both could not believe it was
Like living in a dream
We didn’t understand
Dancing with Peter Pan
What would be the result when we
Turned into young adults

Never thought I'd see a music video about Michale Jackson and Bubbles the Monkey being played by Noel and Michael Fielding with music by Les Claypool and Sean Lennon.
I need a moment to let this sink in.
Who are Noel and Michael Fielding-I take it they are brothers. Are they actors? Are they in this band or what?
barbee0715 They're very well known comedians, known for their abstract humour
Look up "The Mighty Boosh" .
+Philip Whitehead thanks. Well known-in the UK?
barbee0715 Very. They sort of ended in 2008 aside from a brief reunion supporting Tenacious D in America in 2013 but that's about it.
To the dozens of people making the same, almost copied-and-pasted "Sean betrayed MJ" comments,
(1) This was actually a part of Sean's life too, although he more passed through, he was there
(2) Sean has said that this song is meant to be empathetic to a phase in MJ's life, not a criticism
(3) I really don't think Sean is trying to use this track to sell this album (any more than any other song), it's not the title track of the album, nor is it the one they promoted when they announced the album. It's just a song he wrote.
(4) Chill out and learn to consume art. The weird art direction style is probably Les Claypool's handiwork anyway -- check out some of the Primus music videos (especially from the mid-late 90's) if you don't believe me. And if you don't like the sound, that's different than being mad for the sake of being mad.
Also need to take into consideration of Bubbles and where he is now. Bubbles got big and grew up and became dangerous due to strength and size. He lives at a facility with other chimps and has learned to socialize with his own kind.
We can even say it's Micheal Jackson impersonator's story and not Michael Jacksons real if we want to make any out of context sense , but this shows some things which can't accidentally or illusionary , now it depends on them is it lie or truth , anyway nobody has any idea and never will , maybe complete true maybe complete false
But his dead now and this should not be talked about , it's like not letting him resting in peace

If there are victims, please tell that to them.
Holy shit, dude. The shade is real... For someone who never spoke badly (or at all) about his "personal years" with MJ, he really went in deep! This feels TOTALLY like it was Sean's therapy! Whatever heals you, Sean. Good for him.
@@FedeRhodes That is such a good point! And with evidence like that, it is truly unbelievable that so many people still think MJ never did anything wrong. Just the fact that he crept his way in to Sean's life, like, literally RIGHT after John died...preying on a grieving son...it makes me nauseous.
@@FedeRhodes He managed to fool me for years, that's for sure. It was devastating for me to have to come to terms with who he really was behind closed doors. Your comment made me think of a story I read about Princess Diana, and how she basically told MJ to go F himself when he was trying to establish a relationship with Prince William when he was a toddler. It was AMAZING!! She saw through his B.S. way back in the early 80s! If you've never heard the story, you HAVE to google it. It just made me have mad respect for her as a mom and a protector! If only all the boys in his life could've been so lucky.
FedeRhodes I’ve read the mj facts blog before! It was so detailed, my mind was blown! I couldn’t believe how many super intimate photos they managed to get their hands on for each boy! It is, isn’t it? Everything about this band is fucking amazing.

It makes me really uncomfortable. And lets get honest,MJs innocence has always been a sensitive topic.Whatever Seans motivation is,its very likely to leave an bad influence to people, especially when Sean was one of the kids once visited Neverland.
Sean has a story to tell as well as many others. I'm surprised this didn't get more traction. I appreciate expression by music. The most telling line of the song:
"We did not understand
Dancing with Peter Pan
What would be the result when we
Turned into young adults."
The cut off for the dude dressed as a dandy was by most accounts 13-14 years old. I've been digging around and so many people defended a guy with a problem and still defend him with excuses that have no merit. I'm no longer blinded by claims of no childhood. He was clearly abandoning these friends and Lord knows what else.

There is no way that this isn't Sean Lennon telling us that something happened with Jackson. I think they all can't speak and Sean way of speaking is this. Thought correct me if i'm wrong but i think this song and video speak for itself.
What you’re saying makes sense to me, but how come he defended mj? What I see says he defended him.
@@snice. I don't know. I have thought about it, and looking back, I think into all of this there is a middle where everything fits. I think MJ had mental problems and transported children into his coping mechanism to heal from his mental problems but with good intentions, not bad ones. It's very bad to do but in the end i do believe all the allegation that ever was was bullshit. I think Michael Jackson had his demons and wasn't an healthy individual but it doesn't make him a monster
I just researched what he said about the song and it makes sense now :
"I was telling Les [Claypool] about it, and we were talking about song topics, and it just seemed like it fit in with the theme of trippy narratives that our record has. And I thought it'd be interesting to write about something that actually happened. It just felt right. I think I'd resisted much of my life talking about those kinds of stories, because they just seemed so hard to figure out how to translate them or relate them. And I just thought it was an interesting metaphor for what happened to a lot of Michael's friends who were my age. It felt like there was something odd going on, and I still don't know what it was. Nothing ever happened with me in an illegal way, but the whole place just felt like I was in some Peter Pan fantasy land. And there was a sense that when Bubbles got too old, he'd have to be gotten rid of, because chimpanzees turn into angry adults or dangerous adults. And it just felt like that was something I could relate to in terms of the whole situation out there. Because there was something Michael liked about hanging out with kids, because they're so innocent and fun. Then, when you become an adult, it felt like you were a chimpanzee: too old to play with anymore."
Looks like what he lived was surreal and kind of weird. But not as bad as people make it seem. He had a good experience, just a crazy one.
@@talkativeworld yea i think he had bitter feelings because although the bond wasnt sexual mj did use the kids to fill a missing hole in his heart then when they got to old he left them. I look at this song as just emotions coming out.
I think Sean is definitely trying to say something. I think the Jackson estate has everyone by the balls due to how much money and power they have. Hence, why none of these celebrity victims are coming out.
@@FedeRhodes he himself said there was nothing going on and the video doesn't describe that something went on. Facts are facts and most of the kids didn't even spend enough time with mj for this to even happen i mean what is he superman? He spent hours rehearsing dance moves and has thousands of unrealeased demos in a vault. Do you know how much time one demo takes to put down? He was on tour most of his career barely at neverland. Aside from work he spent hours at childrens hospitals, and vacationing to other countries. I dont see how he had the time honestly.

Absolutely creepy as hell ........BRILLIANT !......................I loved it !
Great song! Creepy video, but then again, Neverland in the early 80's was by all accounts a pretty strange place. Nobody knows that better than Sean Lennon, one of MJ's incredibly high-profile child friends of the era. It's something that he lived through, so I think that gives him ample right to represent it artistically. I don't think he's doing it "just for the money." I don't think the child of a Beatle could possibly need to do anything just for the money! Anyway, I'm sure excited to hear Sean going down this psychedelic route with his music. "The Ghost of a Sabertooth Tiger" album was also excellent retro psychedelia and now this new project - it feels like Lennon embracing his birthright while also forging his own identity.
"Neverland" didn't exist in the early 80's-Michael didn't buy the ranch until 88 and started working on it in 89-Sean says this is some kind of reimagining of what he really experienced there-some weird imagination, I guess.
That was the most adorable video I've ever seen, very happy to have seen this.

Nobody going to say anything about Noel Fielding playing MJ? Incredible. Nice job on the track Sean.
Let's put it this way I can almost guarantee you Sean wouldn't have made this video if Michael were still alive
Yeah, because MJ would have sued. The truth would've killed MJ.
What's you point?
“I’m not trying to take (Jackson) out… I was just trying to have fun and talk about an odd situation”
-Sean Lennon
I dunno, man. The visuals and the lyrics say another-wise?
He couldn't saying out loud.
He knew that MJ fans would go batshit crazy at him for that.
Probably he also didn't saw the 'actual' thing, but he def. knew something was off.
What Sean implied is quite obvious here.
Dalfi Fran I agree with you, I don’t think Michael actually sexually abused him or he seen any actual abuse. It would be pretty stupid to go after someone as high profile as John Lennon’s son, specially with a crazy biatch, like Yoko Ono as his mother. And say what you want about Yoko? That’s she self-absorbed, untalented, screwed Julian over with his inheritance and probably had a hand in breaking up the Beatles? But you can’t deny she’s fiercely protective over Sean and I have no question she would go full tiger mom on Michael’s dandy-ass if she suspected him of doing anything to her son. It’s too much of a risk to take? I just think as Sean got older and gain perspective over the situation he probably realize all the hand holding and sitting on Michael lap and sleepovers at Neverland, spent in Michael’s bedroom with motion detectors outside in the hall wasn’t as innocent as he once thought it was at the time?
@@DissociatedJonsey
Agreed. Yoko is crazy biatch.
It would be too high risk to pushing after Sean Lennon or Macaulay Culkin.
Jackson would have better chance to grooming the poor family who's startstrucked to him, and a more compliant victim.
Wake up and smell the coffee
I just don't understand how someone can say Yoko was a tiger mom fiercely protective of her son when she let him spend time with such a person. Holding hands and sitting on his lap? Never do you treat a young man like that unless hes a toddler still. No. Yoko didn't care about her son enough to protect him from Michael. Sounds more like an exchange program between wealthy types. This song is self explanatory but we're talking about a man who's father was gunned down in front of his home. It might have happened due to angering powerful types. If I were Sean, I'd be careful too.
Whoa, truly bizarre. They released] this at a very important time in my life. The video makes it even more trippy. nice;

Man, why the fans won't understand what Lennon/Claypool did with that song/clip? Maybe it's the huge urge to sanctify a person, which has taken a lot of shit during his life ...True, let him rest, but also don't make a saint out of him.
Also, to those who claim that Lennon tries to exploit the Jackson name, I will like to point out that A)Sean is the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, which means he's got his own artistic legacy behind and B)that Jackson actually bought the rights for every Beatles song, outbidding Paul McCartney...Now, THIS is an extremely unethical way to exploit the name of someone, in order to make more money. At least Sean made a fucking song about him.
Sean used to hang out with Michael and Bubbles. He was one of the kids in Michael's Moonwalker film.
i sure hope not
Sharon Plume and the rest... when will you people realise that there’s no conspiracy against MJ, how many other kids need to come forward before you realise?
The only people who are motivated only by money is the MJ estate, because they have the most to lose. Their livelihoods depend on the world seeing MJ as nothing but a straight, eccentric man who simply enjoyed sleeping with another little boy alone every night.
@Sharon Plume
Being attracted to children is something child molesters can't turn off but child molestation actually is a habit certain pedophiles can turn off (suppress would be a more fitting word), because a certain level of restraint needs to be involved if said molester is to evade justice. Unless you're suggesting all child molesters molests every child he meets? As an expert psychologist you show an astounding lack of knowledge on this this subject, so let me educate you.
www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/1707466/jewish/Things-You-Need-to-Know-About-Child-Molesters.htm
'What is the profile of a child molester? An average child molester will offend 200-400 times before being caught, if ever. The vast majority of offenders do not get caught, and they have no criminal records. According to the FBI, only one out of ten cases of child sexual abuse is reported to law enforcement.'
The average pedophile will OFFEND 200-400 times, big difference - although it has to be said that this does not apply to every single pedophile. MJ did not need to seek out that many children for access, as he had repeated access to a select few children in which he molested. He did so in a way which is actually very typical of child molesters:
'Showering their prospective victims with attention, offenders may also offer treats, trips to desirable places that children enjoy, or special privileges. Once a child has accepted many “kind” offers from the molester, it becomes increasingly more difficult for the child to assert him- or herself and refuse the molester’s advances, which tend to get more confusing very gradually.
Once child molesters have chosen their potential victims, they work hard at patiently developing relationships with them. Since this grooming process can sometimes go on for years, it is common for child molesters to cultivate many prospective victims at a time. A large number of predators believe that what they are doing is not wrong, and that being intimate with a child is actually “healthy” for the child. After extended molestation, children and preteens can actually grow attached to their offender and become jealous when the offender’s attention goes to others who are younger, once they have reached a certain age. Their entire lives have been colored by the abuse.'
MJ fit this profile to a tee, he also slept with one other child on hundreds of occasions - this is not even disputed by MJ as it was established in the 2005 trial. Back when Wade Robson was credible in your eyes, had Robson and Safechuck said what they are saying now, then MJ would be in jail.
MJ was only ever tried on molesting 2 children. Not even including the first one who accused him, who was paid $23m shortly after he gave a detailed description of his genitals. He was found not guilty, so what? So was OJ, did you think the judicial system is flawless?
What ever your thoughts are on what happened behind closed doors is up for discussion but to claim that MJ didn't even have any opportunity to molest children isn't. I personally think that the children who slept alone in the same room as MJ for months on end (not exclusively in Neverland by the way) are more likely to determine whether they were molested or not than one of his bodyguards. Usually child molesters don't operate in view of other people and MJ was no different, although there were many former employees that have spoken out against MJ throughout the years. But you don't listen to them, do you? You only seek out information that reinforces your bias, and quickly dismiss anything that confronts your faith.
@@duanedibbley258 You are so sure of the nonsense that you say that it is even stupid in how you rely on things without veracity, people like you love lies, so much that they do not even bother to know the subject well.

This was not about a monkey. The monkey in this video was a boy. One of boys. Each of boys. MJ's boys. Creepy video about even much more creepy story behind it.
Yep, «The Boy Allies» as the title of that book in the shelf so fittingly says.
IKS Those boys and girls around MJ came forward to say nothing sexual ever happened. Dozens of them. give it u already.
@@jimcim29 And survivors lie until they disclose. Wade and James lied until they disclosed. It's quite normal in child abuse cases, if you didn't know. The children protect their abuser, and adults don't want to be branded as victims of sexual abuse so they shut up, and they lie when asked.
@@coldwhitespring5004 I guess you also say MJ molested Jane Doe and , conveniently, she also did not realize abuse was abused until after MJ died, correct?
IKS Nobody was "MJ's boy". Ask Sean. You sound creepy as fuck
This song and video is so INGENIOUS ... WOW !
and the guy who made this says this isn't a dig at all at Michael it's just having fun and a song but I beg to differ
... So you're saying he's lying?
I mean it's quite obvious that this is a desperate attempt to get views and or noticed what other way then to controversially focus around a big name in the industry like Michael Jackson
Jesus, people...this was meant to be a goofy little tribute, not an insult. Get a sense of humor.
Thank you for your sanity Dora
It's insulting af. If you think MJ would laugh about this you are delusional.
don't you think Michael would feel bad about this? do you think he would laugh about the way this man portrayes him as a mentally ill man? To have another point of view, I'm sure Sean would be very angry and sad if someone makes something like this about his father. And he even calls himself a friend of Michael. This is just disrespectful.
Are you blind? This video is GARBAGE.
I'd like for at least one person who doesn't have an MJ icon as their profile picture to explain to me why this video is "garbage". Go on, I'm waiting...
I love the Fielding brothers in this! Noel and Michael are PERFECT
This clip pissed me off. mockery of Michael Jackson. it seems that S. Lennon wanted to draw attention to his long-forgotten person. This video has been discussed on the forums. public apology... This is a challenging video, not a nasty one. Michael was laughed at. You can sue. You don't have to force your opinion on people. this clip - mockery should be destroyed.
"We did not understand

What would be the result when we
Turn into young adults?"
--Definitely tryna say something here
Great, i love it :)
i see what you did there...
This is sooooooo King Krimson, and I totally LOVE IT!!!!
Starless and... BIBLE BLAAAAAAAAAACK! :)
Watching this on acid and I can verify this video is one super uncomfortable video with awesome music
what a great song
Listened to this album on 5gs of shrooms last night and it was life changing. Amazing band
Watching water drip into a puddle on 5gs is amazing.....
I've got to do this
Some kind of psychological perversion ... creepy video

Bruh this video is wild
The actors are amazing
Nice stuff!!!
why would you search for and click on this video if you're the type of person to be offended at this? lighten folks.
lighten up, rather.
Exactly, and this video doesn't even put MJ in a bad light (Like do many comments are saying) at all if they bothered to watch more than half of the video. People are weird as hell sometimes.
We MJ fans, we came here ONLY to put our DISLIKES this offensive and comical video. We had knowledge of it just by the name of Michael, not because of '' Sean '' the son of JL
+Rosane The video isn't offensive in any way, watch past the half way point and you'll see its actually quite a touching tribute to Bubbles and MJ
Negative. MJ fans enjoy parodies of Weird Al Yankovic about videos MJ, but this video of Sean portrays Michael as a demented man .. was the other way we would have enjoyed, but this video doesn't have good intentions. Sorry my English, it isn't my language.
I love it!!!! Can't wait to hear the rest of the album.
Michael Jackson was the greatest performer of all time, and his stage presence was so mesmerizing that people easily swooned at the first sight of him. He was more of a performer than a singer or dancer. He is still the most famous person on earth. Michael Jackson received many awards, recorded several albums and beat the previous ones, which were his own and others too. He has sold millions of records worldwide with just a few albums and has set certain standards, his record can never be beaten and his talent will forever remain unsurpassed. He could beat anyone....his personality was so impressive and his talent was completely unique and pure. Michael has inspired many artists as well as ordinary people.
Besides being an entertainer, he was the sweetest person the world has ever seen. He was such a down to earth and kind person. Who believed in love and peace. His dream was to make this world a better place. He never considered music as a collection or a business. He did what he liked and wanted to inspire people to heal the world with his music. He has donated almost half a billion dollars to help people around the world. He has helped millions of children and donated a huge portion of his earnings to charity. He did a lot for children and
for the whole world.
awesome!!!!
Okay, the wrong video to watch as the acid kicks in...
Les Claypool, Sean Lennon and Noel Fielding all in a single production - never thought I've live to see this particular day
Who else thinks this isnt about bubbles the chimp
it's about cherries being popped...
@Cookie Monster I am glad whatever had been happening. Sean was left out.
Childhoods END !
He didn't wanna see a real kid with the person playing Jackson because it would revive the trauma. I'm disgusted by this and I know this is acting imagine re-living these past memories and seeing actual kids with him.
Sean said the monkey is a metaphor
This is great
Genios!!!
I was lukewarm on this vid until I saw how many people it pissed off. Now I love it. :)
Good song. Don't listen to the butthurt MJ fans who don't have a clue (or worse, the Beatles fans who shit on Sean for about anything he does), form your own opinion of it.
glad to see les is back
I just can't stop deslike you
It appears that colonel Les grows more then just grapes for his wine on his wineyard..I think he has a moldy little corner for growing shrooms or something..
Lol holy shit did not expect Noel and Mike.🤣😂
Amazing!
Whoa, Sean is telling it!!
Yea they don’t wanna hear it
This says it all really, I think I'm going to be sick.
He was there. He knows. If he'd just had a great time and seen nothing sinister he wouldn't have made this.
Well, in Sean's own words :
"I mean whatever happened with him and anyone else, I have no opinion of because I wasn't there, you know? But when I talked about it in 'Bubbles Burst,' the song, I wasn't trying to be critical. I was simply trying to document the truth. You know, 'This happened,' is all I would say. I think a lot of people thought I was criticizing him or not criticizing him or whatever but it wasn't about that. The song was really just documenting a strange time - like a surrealist moment of my life that was memorable."
@@nilovabose170 this is for who see between the lines
The tea is hot. Sean telling us what we all know deep down inside but some people are afraid to admit it.
actually Sean always spoke highly of MJ so I don't understand why he portrayed a friend so harshly.
@@DarkArynLand The truth can be harsh.
@@Iam4wine malice is in the eye of the beholder. MJ was investigated for years by the FBI and they found nothing, there are documents on the internet. If Sean had been harassed he would have reported Jackson since he has the money to do it. Also a video of Sean with MJ in the 90s came out these days, why would he keep see him?? (czcams.com/video/eeieLAvWusk/video.html) Why did he always defend him? This video is just an ironic portrait of Bubbles, certainly not a documentary.
@@DarkArynLand No, he was not investigated by the FBI for years. That is clearly stated on the very first page of the FBI files, so why are you lying? You are defending a child predator. If you believed he was innocent, there would be no need to lie.
@@DarkArynLand Sometimes people are in denial for YEARS because it hurts way too much to face the fact that a person they loved and trusted so much would do something terrible to them, even just thinking that this person they looked up to would do that them can make them incredibly ashamed, confused, etc. and it can take a long time before they finally come to terms with it. If something happened, Sean may not be ready to blatantly lay it all out on the table so this is his way of expressing it
Good song, super-twisted video.
Shit I feel sick after watching this...
Come on people, this video is NOT disrespectful to Michael Jackson. Lennon and Claypool are not accusing him of being a monkey-melester. Come on!
Just caricature is already a great offense.
You have got to be kidding me🙄
Les Claypool has like 10 bands he's in right now.
I am older now. I have was 14 and remember the day Sean was born. This, to me personally, is like the music/art of his father, and a certain famous band. His father was notorious for the ambiguous, also in your face music. Have ya seen the film Magical Mystery Tour? So, here comes the son. That's all. Nothing more, nothing less, but it's just a feeling I have. Ask Sean. I don't care for it personally.
Bravo!
