  • I picked up this Greenworks 40V MO40L01 G-Max 21" mower from Woot. It comes with two batteries (uses 1 at a time). I sold my gas mower for this one that is easier to store and use.

Thank you so much! I just got this same one the other day and it was the last one and a display model. I am glad you showed me how to put in the thing underneath in the back, and also how to put the side blower on. I really like mine so far. Mine only came with one battery and I think I might get another one, since I have 3 yards.

Oh, the lady at the store said that before you use it for the first time to let the battery charge for a full 12 hours.

Yea definitely need at least two batteries. My little 1,500 SF takes a full battery.

Looks pretty light, that should help since it’s not self propelled.

God bless you bro! Thanks for the awesome video! So you recommend it? I actually bought a 17 inch one hit haven't used it yet. Moving in 2 weeks to new house. Saving it till then. But got to looking at bigger decks. And this is one of them. What's yours thoughts / opinion and plastic deck vs metal?

The 21” is very useful if you have a big yard. Reduces the number of passes. Definitely metal deck for durability. With stuff like mulch and small branches, need the metal for durability. I have dual 40V battery version but they make 60V and 80V stuff now. It’s random on voltage but end of day, need the size that fits your other tools if you go all in with the lineup.

Yea the prices I see now are crazy. So glad I hopped on this when I saw it.

With inflation, supply chain, and chip shortages, try buying one now in 2022! I just paid a crap ton more for a house last month and needed a mower for the 1/4th acre yard. Found the 48v version of this for $260 the other day and jumped on it. Prices are insane for electronics and anything with similar specs was almost twice the price.

For how many hours you should live it charged ?

The battery should charge and automatically stop. I usually just leave it overnight.

How is it holding up after a year?... I just got one myself today for double what you paid :(

It’s still going good. I have a small yard so it’s perfect on one battery. My new house has about twice the yard so hopefully it’s enough charge. Seems like the newer ones are all 60V vs my 40V.
