I’d assume you don’t have perfect pitch, so you can’t tell if he’s on or off. It’s not a lot, but he’s not perfect. I do enjoy his voice more live tho, but you can hear the difference if you look for it. Also, no need to throw around insults. I don’t feel the need to act like a 5 year old, and I hope you don’t either.

Three Things:
1) Bruno was legit FUNNY here. Every move, expression, inflection, double-take, and cue was perfect. He _crushed_ this monologue.
2) Kenan showed right here why he's the G.O.A.T. -- he's low-key phenomenal as a straight man who punches up the punchlines.
3) Those back-up performers were TIGHT! Great vocals, moves, and timing with their lines.
I hope the audience was laughing more on the inside, because this was a great opening monologue. SNL, let's revisit Mars!!!

He is unreal. I’ve been to so many concerts of so many artists. Bruno Mars was the only artist my son ever asked to see so we went and I’m so grateful we did. Absolutely brilliant.

I'm watching this in 2022 and I have to say that Bruno Mars is the defining artist of the 21st century, by far. He encapsulates the musical talents of Prince, Michael Jackson, the songwriting abilities of Stevie Wonder, and surpasses them all with mass charisma and personality. MJ was a phenomenon - broke barriers with his songwriting, singing and dancing, but he never played an instrument. Prince was an accomplished musician - played keys and guitar to the extreme, plus wrote songs and sang them like nobody else. And now we have Bruno Mars - who can sing and dance, as well as, if not better than MJ and play the keys and guitar as well as, if not better than Prince. And his ability to write hit songs is quickly equating that of Stevie Wonder. Plus, he's got something none of them have - an ability to be humorous and a willingness to exploit it. While some may take away points because of this, it's bogus. The fact that Bruno Mars is more commercially assessable than MJ or Prince or even Stevie Wonder, doesn't make him less talented or viable. I've seen him grown leaps and bounds in a relatively short amount of time. There's no question that he has the ability to write and produce hit songs. But, I have to admit, I was amazed by his musical talent after seeing his performance at the Prince tribute. I've been around a long time and I'm not trying to take credit away from any of the amazing artists that came before. All I'm saying is that Bruno Mars is more than worthy to take his place along side of the greats that came before him.
