I think of it as a mental illness instead of multiverse. All of Luna’s trauma created a new personality that put the real Luna into sleep and created alternative worlds to live in. While the new personality “shadow Luna” taking over the real body. The superior new personality can finally fight and go through all of the hardships that the real Luna can never do.

Youre right..Actually..people with deep trauma can make split personality sometimes.... and here the concept is too good i would say.. people who had been through trauma like this can understand and relate this.
I'll explain it simply.... sometimes some incidents creates guilts inside us..."I'm the one responsible for this" and hence this series remind us guilt is natural but... focusing on this can destroy ourselves our lives...
The pain the sadness were going through needs to end..if not, we'll die..
That's the series teaches us that don't stuck in past, keep going belive in yourself, fight with your pain, you are the only creator..of your life. Trust yourself

nemu ini drama dari iklan IG, eh malah keterusan sampe ending dlm sehari langsung ngabisin krna penasaran. endingnya udh cukup sih segitu aja, pemahaman dan interpretasi bisa sesuai dgn pemahaman masing2 penonton. pesan2 moralnya juga okay, dan ini lebih nunjukin peperangan batin atau mental dalam menangani luka lama, gimana menerima dan memaafkan diri sendiri, refleksi diri, dan perumpaan klo misalkan orang bisa punya kuasa memutar balikkan waktu atau mengatur hidup sesuai yg dia mau aja ya jadi kacau balau. underrated tapi keren sih ini.

After the fight in the void and after watching how hopeless and sad the shadow luna was, luna decided to forgive shadow luna And the shadow luna is now living in the kindness world where the real luna constantly draws happy stuff in the magic book thing to make sure that shadow luna leads a happy life
It ends showing that luna has healed but im not sure where the real luna is living maybe in the real world or in the world where her father was there 😅

HEY I THINK I FIGURED IT OUT, THIS IS MY THEORY~
So at the part where the shadow luna said she just wanted to be happy, the real luna look like she figured out something that's why her fist postponed when she's abt to punched the shadow luna.
Then the scene where the shadow luna is a best selling artist (when she was asked if she's happy by a fan), after that it showed that she is being drawn by real luna (i conclude that she's the real luna because she's always the one to draw in that book not the shadow luna). It looks like she is drawing a world where the shadow luna can be happy.
I also think the real luna didn't end up in the real world, because at the ending it showed chris (which is dead in the real world) and becca (as her friend) which is kinda impossible to befriend in the real world.
So i think the real luna found a way for both of them to be happy.

At first I mad at Becca, so pick me girl style and bit chy. But at the end I realized that Becca character is so practical and consistent. She knows what she wants and the way how she gets that. On the contrary, Luna is so selfish and emotional. When getting stuck in trouble, she just chose to run away and went deep into her bad feelings like all the world is treating her badly and she's the victim! Nooo. That's not the world works!
That's why irl people like Becca is the bully and people like Luna is the bully object
The scene where becca is her friend and chris is alive,, thats where shadow luna is and it s kinda obvious as the scene color is to dreamy white. Real Luna got her real reality place back,, chris still dead and becca maybe still not her friend,,, her book signing scene has a real vivid colors. She gave her alter self a chance to be happy and herself to move forward.
This is the best explanation I've read so far, and honestly might be something people with mental health struggles can put into practice to take back ownership of their own life

Disini penonton tidak hanya di pancing adrenalin nya, tapi juga di pancing nalarnya. Pesan moral versi aku itu "Pikirkanlah hal hal yang positif, sehingga sugesti mu akan menjadi demikian." Karena prasangka Tuhan bergantung dengan prasangka hamba-Nya. Sebab komplikasinya berada pada halusinasi negatif yang ditimbulkan Luna, tapi tidak di jelaskan mengapa bayangan itu ada sebelum ayahnya meninggal. Jika bayangan adalah emosi negatif Luna, mengapa ia muncul sebelum ayahnya wafat, bukankah seharusnya sesudah wafatnya? Meskipun sedikit berantakan, tapi kita tak bisa menuntut karya untuk sebuah kesempurnaan. Begitu juga dengan Luna, tidak semua harus berjalan dengan lancar, tidak semua harus bahagia. Luna disini hanya mementingkan diri sendiri dan mengabaikan cinta kasih yang diberikan orang-orang sekitarnya sehingga bayangan itu semakin kuat. Overall, sangat mengedukasi.

Alienated means detached to something or not feeling to be where u are..so luna wants to estranged ( no longer wants to be with herself or not to lives her own world) so she had that SketchBook (where she wants to be something that she is not in her real world). But in the end the story she told us how to embrace the world we had in..and fight for yourself and people we loved.

MY OWN INTERPRETATION OF THE ENDING:
I think the final battle didn't showed us how it ended... While REAL Luna was about to give her final blow, she stopped as if she had an idea and we're cut right in the book signing. I think it was implied that the REAL Luna and the SHADOW Luna (Humpty) had an agreement instead of killing each other for domination of one's life, why not work together to have each other's preferred life. Humpty can live inside her perfect world/perfect school life simulation the REAL Luna made to imprison Becca in a time loop, while REAL LUNA can live in a world where all her dreams come true and free from any guilt by imploring SHADOW Luna to draw her the perfect life she always wanted. In the end, win-win for the both of them. They both got their own realities made by their powers to create multiverses. It's just a whole winding journey of Luna making Luna realize that she has the power to make herself better, achieve more and reach her dreams if she wanted to as long as she is willing to fight for it.
The only question I have about this ending theory of mine is that: In REAL Luna's reality, does her mom woke up from the comma? Is Becca, Jake and Chris still alive or revived? Is her father alive in this universe? Aside from being a successful artist and a successful graphic novel release, we never really know how perfect the REAL Luna's world really are for her.
Guys I just realized something the book is the sandbox and every time she draws something it becomes the world 🌎 but I olso still don’t understand the ending
It seems like the fake and original Luna lives in different world now🤔
The original Luna spared her shadow version because she realized the latter was right. She had continued to hate the world, while the shadow did tried to do what she could to change all this. At the end, Luna realizes she can change things for the better and rewrote her world for the better. The shadow Luna was able to live a much happier life because the original was able to let go and give herself a chance at a happy life.

The ending is the world still not clear and luna still create her world by draw it. Its having great massage to using our life wisely. How ever we try for making our life in our brain, the reality is the real life that we face today. Luna try to represent whoever that never be satisfied with their life, and we should not to be it at all. Listen everyone who don't understand the ending at my pov and on basis of my theory is the last scene where luna(humpty) is Giving a painting she made and the other one the real luna where she is living in perfect world where her friends are good with her and Becca is good and her best friend is not dead and her boyfriend is good too and the therefore this two made a deal that the shadow luna (humpty) is living her dream life as famous artist and real luna had made her own perfect world this is my theory and the scene where real luna making shadow luna dream world that gives us the prove and in real world she is not there because when she changes her world she disappears from the world she was so that proves she disappeared from the real world I think this made you clear about the ending 😊❤

그러니까 루나는 자신이 주변사람들을 위험에 빠뜨리게 한것에 대한 죄책감으로 자신만의 완벽한 세계를 만들고 싶어했고, 그 결과물이 달걀얼굴을 가진 캐릭터네요. 그런데 엔딩에서는 죽은 등장인물들이 전부 살아있는것으로 나오는데, 그러면 루나는 결국 또다른 완벽한세계를 만들어 살아가게 됐다는 것이 되겠네요.

This is just my theory, the real Luna is starting to realize that she is connected to Luna's shadow, both of them want happiness. Finally at the end we see Luna's shadow (fake Luna) regaining the life she wanted which was created by the real Luna. Meanwhile, the real Luna returns to the past and begins to find her happiness in the real world while continuing to create the fake Luna world she wants. As Criss said, they are connected where the real Luna can create happiness for the fake Luna while also starting to accept her life and find her own happiness even though she is not famous or seeing her father anymore (she has accepted her fate and doesn't have to feel guilty anymore).
