  • Using a molecular plating process, our solution creates a permanent layer, which will not flake or peel and can be polished and cleaned.
    It's also dead easy to use..
    Simply, apply liberally, rub firmly for 10-15 seconds, buff and you're done!
    (..and don't forget to shake that bottle well and good before you start)
    It should also be pointed out that this isn't suitable for silver plating jewellery, just silverware or decorative pieces.

    It's important to clean the object with acetone, to remove any grease which will interfere with the action of the product. I've used it successfully many times on Chinese brass-bound boxes - need several coats to get a good durable finish - it does not wipe/wash off as stated in another comment.

    Does it work on brass too?
    If so, I wonder if I can find this product here in Denmark.

    Is this coating conductive to electricity and does it stay on for years?

    Works better if you clean the brass or copper object first.

    I tried this on a brass pendant that the plating had worn off of. The Nushin has adhered to it, and it is silver in color, but it’s flat/matte not glossy/shiny. Any tips?

    Can this be applied to plastic if the plastic had a conductive coating?

    Is this real Silver coat?

    • @MarkWallbridge
      @MarkWallbridge Před 2 lety +2

      It is indeed. But it is only a 'flash' coat. So great for items that are on display like silverware but no good for items of jewelery.
      For that you need to electroplate.

    This can be used for bag hardware?

    • @MarkWallbridge
      @MarkWallbridge Před 2 lety

      It would work if the hardware metal was a hardbase metal such as brass, copper, nickel and bronze.
      But you'd need to removed the hardware as the liquid will stain any cloth or material it comes into contact with.
      And this is only a flash plate. It is really meant for display items like silverware. So it'd rub off if the bag was used with any regularity.

    Has there been one made with white gold?

    • @MarkWallbridge
      @MarkWallbridge Před 2 lety

      Sadly not, you need a plating machine: www.hswalsh.com/product/mini-micro-plate-3-x-1-litre-plating-machine-tp276
      There was, many years ago, a yellow gold rub on plating solution but I think it's didn't work quite so well.

    Why do you want to turn a valuable metal into a cheaper !

    • @selahr.
      @selahr. Před 2 lety +2

      A lot of fake silver jewelry is originally a brownish color because it’s a mix of cheaper metals. He’s demonstrating that it can cover something that dark so those of us needing to repair those pieces know it can cover something that is even darker than what we’re probably covering. .
