Dan Henry 1970 owner for 2 years. Unexpectedly became my favorite watch to wear, because of the comfortability and versatility. It goes with everything. Anyway i just want to say to anyone who has never worn the tropic strap, that it was a revelation for me. Sure it feels very stiff at first and it cuts into your arm a little and you think, this is horrible. But after a week, when it gets worn in, this is the most comfortable strap I have ever worn. Especially in the hot summer days when you sweat a lot. This coming from a person who has such big problems with summer watch wear, that in the past I had to stop wearing watches because of all the rashes I was getting. This strap solved those problems completely. And a rugged built and material make it look like new even after 2 years. Something you can't say for other rubber straps. (this goes of course for de Dan Henry strap, don't know if this one is made to the same standard). As for the piece. It looks like a nice homage, but the QC issue and the fact that you can get a better looking, better built homage of the same watch for 250 euro, makes it a really hard sell in my opinion.
I like this piece, the red/orange inner ring and the secondshand are a nice touch. The inner bezel is good! Would I risk buying it? Idk, I guess I would take my chances since the piece is pretty competitive. In General for me, this would need a bracelet. But maybe on a nato or Zulu strap. Kudos to you, going through with the review despite the blatant flaw! 10/10 review execution!
It's a good watch Kurt, despite the crown defect. On a positive note Rdunae are sending me a new crown and winding stem, so it will be an easy repair. Regards, #WR4K
Hi thanks for the review. With Chinese watches I've started to get them pre owned after a QC issue. There are so many mint condition ones. The latest two I got that were as new is the watch dives milsub for £50 which is an absolute bargain at the RRP let alone 50, I got the latest Pagani design air king for £40 again mint. The review watch is not my type being a compressor but would be an excellent candidate because of the issue...

I thought the seller in this case Rdunae brand could have nick pick the watch to be sent to you tubers, as they know it can somehow influence prospective buyers, so apparently not. So they sent a defective one. I also viewed watch another channel where the bezel of the Rduane had issue. That’s bad I am planning to get the Rdunae R6, was looking for the review on that. It has a none sapphire and long lug to lug, but was hoping not all models of Rdunae has QC issues.
Do you have a hands-on experience with the Tactical Frog Solar Chrono that WatchDives also sells? Any plans for a review? I am considering it but can find surprisingly little about it. Thanks in advance.
got one too ... same thing - with factory defect .... the top crown that controls turning the inner rotating bezel falls off ... what is it with rdunae quality control???
