Nice to feel again the impressions from a visit to Santiago on July, 11. The restaurant in front of the monument is quite nice. Since we met with local friends we could spent a nice and safe Sunday afternoon "in the barrio". Santiago is one the cleanest towns in Dominican Republic

Hi ramy, delighted to see that you came to Santiago, unfortunately due to pandemic issues there are fewer people walking in that part of the city such as the street of the sun and the restoration that in a normal situation you can hardly walk there because of the amount especially of beautiful women who walk in that area, maybe you miss visiting some malls of which there are several in Santiago to be able to record some beautiful ladies 😄

DANG... I was born a few minutes from the FORT (Fortaleza San Luis 14:30) - quite a few years ago... there was a civil war and we used to hear the canons... (think i'm "aging" myself) - how things have changed... yet stayed the same. YET.. noticed description states scenes of nightlife in Santiago... think he drank too much before posting that statement. :)

Nop, they are more developed than Philippines (you can check the HDI ranking). Colombia and Brazil are also inclined to the European gene, with some exceptions in some regions. Demographically Mexicans and Dominicans are similar to Filipinos.

Those colorful buildings with art on them...what are they? What's in them?
The majority are family homes and local businesses. The paintings on the walls are the idea of the local mayor's office and artists in order to beautify that area and give it cultural and tourist attraction. The paintings represent different characters from the history, culture, art of the country and its folklore.
For example the painting at 22:00 is Johnny Pacheco, born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, one of the figures who created the genre of salsa music in New York City along with Cubans, Dominicans and Puerto Ricans artists.

Mr. Rami you take very good videos, but it is not enough to just take videos and walk, You NEED to see " Ace Live" another You- tuber to see how you tubing is realy done. You have to be a very good Guide, Explain where you are, where you are going, what is the name of the building on the Hill , or park street. You need explain if Going north or south. You also need to Socialize talk to people, why are there lines for certain stores, talk to pretty girls. Look at Ace Live and you'll know what I mean. Walking with the video it's not enough, it's boring and we your public have to guess where you are, what your doing.You need to talk and give us details about Every thing like a true Guide. I hope you take this advice for good and improve your you-tubing and that we your fans can realy enjoy it. Good luck.

Without a doubt the cleanest city in DR, but not very clean when compared to Medellin.
But it's way more advanced than medellin. I was in colombia a few months ago and everything is like old school it's a nice city but not modern and advanced if you know what I mean

To give an example, Medellin is the most innovative city in the world, and it has some of the best hospitals in Latin America, the climate is fabulous, everything is cleaner, luxury malls, luxury condominiums and buildings, it is greener, better system of transportation, beautiful women. Not even in South America is there a better city than Medellin, what makes you think of comparing this town with that city? I don't see anything modern here and the streets are dirty
