- Purchased this easy to install wireless doorbell for our old house. When you have an old house sometimes wiring a new doorbell isn't the easiest task to accomplish.
We purchased this wireless doorbell off of Amazon, it was under 10.00 and took about 3 minutes to install. It was super easy!

Just picked one up at ALDI's for 6.99 32 tones, 300ft range and 3 levels of door bell volume. Both the doorbell and the chime are battery powered, I like not having to plug the chime into an outlet because as seen in your video it blocks the use of the other plug in on the electric outlet. The ALDI doorbell also has double sided tape making it a breeze to install.
It's blocking the other outlet because he plugged it into the top outlet so it blocks the bottom. If you plug it into the bottom outlet, it won't block the top one.
but you do not need to worry about replacement of batteries i had an option to buy batteries powered but bought plug powered same prices for both payed 15 euros

I live where is hits -40 often in the winter so batteries die fast and/or crack open.

These adhesive things never stay on. I just had to pull my new Home Depot wireless basic doorbell, and Gorilla-Glue the button outside next to door frame
down to the surface. Well, I can tell you that the Gorilla Glue didn't hold, the bell fell off immediately after affixing it. So, I had to clean and strip the outside area again,
dry, and then drill the back plate of the bell and permanently screw the plate in, I did have hardware as it happens, and now it's in there for good. I wouldn't
even bother using glue or the strips, just drill and use anchors and put the bell in permanently. It's much less hassle.

I notice it won't hold on a slick wooden
surface, it needs something with
some grit or coarseness to hold to.
I bought some Liquid Nails instead in case I need some real hold power. Home Depot is better than sex. Almost.
Actually I wish you did go through all of them. I'm quite fond of the standard Japanese doorbell tones, and I'd like to know if this device has it.

can use a pack of four AA batterys = 6 volts without AC 120 volts...
can use both powers AC / DC

Cool video. Is the outside unit waterproof? How does the battery hold up in winter cold? If you lose power, does the unit have to be re-programmed when the power comes back on? Cheers
It seems to be waterproof. Cheap batteries would more than likely not last as long as good ones.

No it is not. OK for a slight dampness but not hard rain.
How long before cmos battery fail
Is there an option to get a 2nd chime for the same doorbell? For example, have one plugged in upstairs and 1 downstairs so the chime can be heard throughout the house?
Not that I am aware of
There are many similar units available on Amazon that come it sets with 2 chimes, or 2 two buttons, or both. ;)

Our building is a small three unit condo building. If we all have this product do they operate separately from each other? In other words If someone rings the bell for unit 1 does in trigger the other bells or is each unique to itself?

@@CutieRingoJoy No that is a good question. People don't use there own doorbell much. It would be a nice feature the base would check once and awhile if the button part is still good. OR a red light on outside when it is getting weak.

In all seriousness...it’s loud but also depends on the noise.
If you havin a party door should just be open .. for normal days it’s good enough ..

my wireless door chime interferences with my neighbour, is there a reason for this? When someone rings my door bell , both mine and my neighbours receiver rings. any idea why and how to fix?

Depends on how many guest u have 🏠. Otherwise, changing the battery twice a year will work.

It does. It has a bunch of different tones
It's still not going to be as good a as a wired doorbell

Ehh the one I have is 40yrs old and still works I try a a mechanical doorbell
The most important thing you didnt shop is how to bloody sync it,okay yours was sync.
