I always thought the clean section on verses is on a synth keyboard. I'm not sure. But it sure sounds great on the guitar. Class cover, man!

Thanks man! It's definitely guitar, very lightly overdriven with a touch of chorus effect although in the mix I can see how it can be mistaken for synth. Seth did a playthrough on his Instagram not long ago and played the clean parts the same way :)

@@fgeo91 that is awesome.. I've seen some footage online of their shows, it always seems like Korey is playing the synth. Can't say for sure, cos most of them idiots only focus on John and Jen almost all the time. :/

Great cover! A song I definitely recommend you to cover is Skillet Imperfection. It's a song I've been trying super hard to learn, but as a beginner just self-teaching myself, it's almost impossible to make it sound good. It also hurts my hand, so I really need to get actual guitar lessons. Either way, I'm sure you would be great at covering a song like Imperfection!

Thanks!! Keep at it, maybe try learn some simpler songs to develop your skills and you'll be able to play it no problems in a few months or so. I'll look into maybe making a cover of it sometime.

Thank you man, much appreciated! I honestly think there is very little, if any, noise when I'm recording through the Peavey USB interface and it's negligible once it is all in the final mix. A good noise gate (even through your VST) should take care of it if you do have any minimal noise :)
