I’ll be seeing for the first time this winter how my 1025R handles the snow. Your videos are a big help. Thank you!
Weight is your friend here, either adding ballast by filling the tires w/ a rear blade or investing in suitcase weights.
I run a kioti ck4010 hst, its larger then the 1025r, I filled my rear tires (liner w/ calcium) and run a 72" rear blade, took the front bucket off and bought a hla 72" snow pusher, even w/ all the extra weight running r4 tires I still have traction issues when the snow is 12+ inches, so I bought front and rear tire chain, diamond pattern for the front and double ladder for the rear. Most of the time for medium snows I just put the front chains on and its more then enough in the traction / steering department, for large nor'easter blizzard events 18" + storms I'll put the rear chains on, its a bumpier ride but I never got stuck once and the traction makes the tractor like a sherman tank, it can push through anything.
This will be a good weekend for some preseason prep. maybe do some hunting too.
Who doesn't like free? Even better than free are the helpful videos produced by GWT..THANK YOU! I own a B2650 with a cab and live in NE Wisky. After retiring from the military with almost 3 decades of service I've got some parts that are worn out and owning a tractor is a must. Being new to owning a tractor and having some land to manage, we've found plenty of ways to use our tractor, and all these videos really help! Having a set of Bora wheel spacers could definitely improve the stability and safety of the tractor! I have a snowblower on the front of the tractor which was a must and makes cleaning up way easier. It did take some getting used to clearing the gravel driveway the first season and lessons learned in the spring when you see gravel all over the grass. Now I let a basecoat of snow buildup and adjusted the skids to keep it almost an inch up. Keep up the awesome work producing the videos. Stay safe, y'all.
New 2025r owner here; this channel has been a huge help!
I have a John Deere 3025E. As an active duty service member heading into my first winter with my tractor in the Colorado mountains, your videos have helped me tremendously in preparing and maintaining my first tractor. I'm looking to utilize my JD to its fullest as I didn't buy my 2nd tractor first and get a maxed out 4000 series. Thanks for the fantastic support to a bunch of strangers!
Thank you for your service! 🇺🇸
@@Dale.Nienow What military base is in the mountains in CO? Carson, Peterson, AF Academy are all on the East side where the snow melts fairly quickly. I spent a couple of years at Carson.
@@traviseggl3794 I think it’s the The Cheyenne Mountain complex.
@@Dale.Nienow NORAD is right across the interstate from Ft. Carson. You can see the entrance from post. It is not back in the mountains. It is in Cheyenne Mountain, which is the first piece of rock bigger than a hill on the East side of the Rockies next to the open plains. It is a pretty cool place. They used to offer tours, not sure if they do anymore.
I’m from Pueblo!!
I use my John Deere 5055e with an inverted blower and 8' push box for keeping my driveway clean! Also in the garage are Jd 40w, 420w, 430w and a 60!
I own a 2021 John Deere 4066R and I’m going with the snow pusher. I’m new to the tractor community but I have experience in heavy equipment. The more I use the tractor the more I learn and with the help of people like yourself makes it easier!
Good Morning Courtney from the Adirondacks.. One thing you learn quick here is that as soon as the leaves start to change you better be ready for winter… pulling in the firewood containers now with my New Holland Boomer 45 and those forks sure come in handy… Bought it used w/18 hours on it and love the machine, (it was too small for the prior owner)…God Bless…Chief..{NYS/ADK}
First gen handicap farmer here. We just bought 10.5 acres in Chicagoland area and we bought a new Holland 35hp workmaster. Super excited to get to farming. Good channel for new farmers keep up the good work. Cheers from Wrought Iron Farm.
I am a first time tractor owner and I have now had my 1025r for 2 years and I love it!
I have a 2012 3320 with about 400 hours. I purchased it new and absolutely love it. I’ve enjoyed your videos for several years. Thanks for the informational videos.
Almost three years with my JD 1025r. Thanks for the Great Videos!
Got myself a 1025R. Love my machine. Been watching you since I picked it up, keep up the great content. Never won anything. 🤞🏼here’s hoping.
Good reminder. Congrats on 100k. 1025R owner here.
I have a 2008 John Deere 790. I just moved to Jacksonville, Texas, and bought it from the previous owner of the property. I don't have much tractor experience yet, but I enjoy watching your videos and am learning quite a bit. I also have a 1945 Case SC I inherited from my Dad that I plan to restore.
I bought my first John Deere garden tractor in 1980, a 214. It was great. Traded it for a 425 in 2000 and it always treated me well. Traded it for my current X750 in 2019. Love the X750. Works great for mowing and snow removal.
I have had my 1025R for 6 months and your content has been very helpful, thank-you so much.
2038r here. Still learning and sounds like I will always be learning about using the tractor!?! Kudos to your videos!!
2025r owner here. excited for my first winter with it! been seeing the bora wheel spacers in your videos and they have been on my list to order!! Love the videos. Keep em coming. I always get excited when I get the notification that you posted a new video!
I have a 3039r tractor. It has done alot for us this year. Leveling out our homesite and now getting it ready for winter. The videos are very helpful. My boys and i are always enjoying the work horse of our tractor.
I have a JD 2025R and this will be its first winter. No snow to speak of in this part of Oregon, but we will receive endless weeks of rain, followed up with more rain...
An alternative to the heated seat pad - an electric vest. I wore one in my motorcycle days - thermostat controlled, connected to the vehicle's battery. Worn under a good jacket, it did an amazing job of keeping hands and feet warm.
I have a 1025R and I love it! Watching your videos helped me through my first year, Thank you!
Appreciate your advise and comments. A lot of us didn't grow up on a farm or have any prior experience with tractors. Thanks again.
Great video, as always, keep them coming!
Enjoy your videos and have 1025R that I've had for three years. It's a great little tractor for a 82 year old man.
I’m sure I’m ready for winter 😂😂
It’s funny how quickly winter returns thanks for the nudge!
I do not personally own it but I am the proud beneficiary of driving a John Deere 5075e tractor that I treat as my own. I love your videos for the knowledge I am gaining.
Congratulations on your 100,000 subscribers milestone !
I look forward and enjoy each of your videos . I also find them helpful when dealing with hurdles that I might have with my BX2380.
Congrats Courtney! 100k, keep the content coming!
I have a Kubota L3560. Going into my second winter with it. This is my first tractor and these videos have been a huge help for me! Thanks
I am somewhat an urban farmer with a Kubota BX25. Our garden is about 1/2 acre and I do snow removal for the neighborhood. Thanks for your videos. I have learned alot.
I have a 2016 John Deere 3038e. It cuts our grass, tills our gardens, cleans out our stalls, plows our snow and drills fence post holes here in west branch Michigan! My Deere is the best, most used tool that I have ever purchased.
GREAT TIPS!! keep the videos coming.
Love this channel. I have a JD 2025R. No snow equipment just the bucket. As long as I tilt the bucket correctly I have no issues with digging into the grass. Thanks you for putting out so many useful videos.
Thanks for the winter tips!
I have a John Deere 2038R. I almost rolled it this summer when I hit a soft spot on my switch back road at the property and definitely feel like wheel spacers would have made all the difference in the world! Thanks for your videos as they’ve made my life so much easier.
Many thanks for the advice.... And prepare us to anticipate the season...😎
Congrats on reaching 100k+, what a milestone. I own a 2021 tym T474. I'm brand new to the tractor industry and your videos have benefited me a ton. Im a very thankful for these postings, thank you.

I'm 70 yrs old & have a 2019 John Deere 3033R, which is very tipsy. Would sure like those BORA Spacers. FYI...I am subscribed and watch
your channel all the time. Your videos have help me in operating & maintaining my 3033R. In addition, you have also given me some great
ideas, on preparing my tractor for winter. Keep up your videos and information flow ... Note, I really like the C&W background music, especially the banjo. Many Thanks!!
I have a kabota L2501 and I love it! Great videos... keep them coming!
Love your content. Have used your info on many occasions.

I have a JD 4300 with a Curtis cab and JD snowblower in NW Montana. We have a three mile driveway and frequently 3-4 feet of snow. Works awesome. A caution-before I got the wheel spacers, I had a link break on my tire chains while I was driving. The chain hooked the brake linkage pulling the left rear brake into full. This sheared a gear in the transmission. Lesson learned-get the wheel spacers if you use tire chains, always double check your tire chain links and tension and if you hear a chain flopping around, STOP and investigate. Lots of good tips on your site, thank you.
I have a JD 1025R and your channel has been a great resource for a better tractor owning experience, thanks!
I have a TYM T264 .Your videos are helpful for all tractor manufactors and equipment.
2020 Kubota BX23S owner gearing up for winter. Perfect timing on the video!
I have a 3025D. I have found these videos have helped me understand the ins and outs/ Dos and Don'ts of my tractor. Thank you for the information you share.
Congratulations on the 100k love your channel
Just took delivery of a Kubota BX2601 with 54" bucket with backhoe and thumb attachment. It's my first compact so I'm really new to the game and one of the main reasons I'm subscribed to this channel. I really like the vids on attachments and what each are specifically designed for. Those items will be next on the "need to purchase" list.
Keep up the great content! Thanks!
I love the channel and information that you have and give out! It's very helpful for my Bx 23s Kubota tractor! Keep up the great work and thanks for all the help you guys give!
Some good tips here. Thanks. I can say that chains on all 4 of my LS XJ2025 totally saved my butt last year. In WI we had some very deep and heavy snow falls that required the chains. My front tire chains barely fit so some spacers would be helpful just for peace of mind.
In addition to all of the tractor and equipment tips, I also like to complete tasks such as installing in marking flags, reflectors to indicate the edge of pavement or obstacles and removing any lawn decorations that can be hidden in the snow or should not be hit by snow from my snow blower. Other things to consider are crack filling in pavement/cement or regrading gravel. Although when I had a gravel driveway I found that doing this too late in the fall did not allow enough setup time. This leaves too many rocks loose and they can be easily scraped off into your lawn.
Just picked up my first tractor, a 1025r with a snow blade. Have a 430 foot long grave driveway to keep clear this winter. A set of wheel spacers would be necessary if I needed to add chains for this task.
This channel has been so informative for me. Thanks for all your hard work.
My 2016 1023e with h120 loader and b backhoe. Love it. 3rd year with the hla snow push you sold me. Jeep up the good videos on gwt
I'm finishing up my winter prep project as we speak. I designed, built and installed hydraulic angle function on my scraper blade that I use with my Kubota M5660. Next I scraped, sanded and painted the implement. I used Summit Hydraulics, Depatie Fluid Power, and Outback Wraps products on my build. Turned out sweet and will be a big help so I don't have to dismount the tractor to angle my blade when plowing snow!
Another great video! I have a 2021 1025r . This will be my first winter with the tractor. thanks for all the informational videos for all the new tractor owners!
First year with my 2016 1025R, I was surprised how tippy it felt when mowing a slight hill. I can see how wheel spacers would make a huge difference. Been watching your channel for about 2 years now its one of the reasons I chose the 1025R, I have learned quite a lot! Keep the information coming.
Great video, definitely makes me get thinking on getting things done before the cold arrives. I have a 1025R tractor, Have to get the snow blower all ready for the snow. Keep up the Great work on the videos and attachments.
I've owned alot of tractors but i currently own a 2018 1025R and i love your channel when it comes to new attachements for my tractor. keep up the good work.
I own a 2019 1025R and you helped me pick the 1025R and continue to help me find new products and tech tips on this channel. I could really use a set of wheel spacers since my property is very hilly and cut grass and push snow and get in some perdiaments on some of the hills I love watching your videos and always look forward to your new ones
Thanks Courtney! I agree - Much better doing as much prep before it gets cold and snowy! All the best!
Just bought a 1025r 2 weeks ago so far I love it !! All of your vids have made it very easy for me now as a owner, also I have a steep back yard and the spacers look like they would help out!! if I don’t win I will be buying some soon!! Thank u for all the helpful advice and look forward to all your future vids !!
I have a jd 1025r, of course thanks to this channel on being the deciding factor. Using the bucket as a snow removal tool, I can testify on tearing the edge up......I just took a grinder and cleaned it up and took the razor sharp edge off so me or the wife didn't cut our ankles.
Thanks for another good video looking forward to seeing more about your property
Owned a 1978 Kubota B7100 but just sold it and bought a new TYM T25. Love the videos; lots of good tips and information.
I have a John Deere 2038R I do from time to time feel uneasy about using my tractor on certain ground on my farm. Your videos really have helped me use my tractor more. Thanks!
First time tractor owner here. Opted for the 1023E over a JD mower for the versatility. These videos have been very helpful as I start to learn my way around a tractor.
I have a JD 1025R new to me in 2013. 750+ hrs on it now. Started moving snow using loader and bucket for a few yrs. It works but is slow. Subsequently began finding used pieces to complete a front plow w/hydraulics setup. Took 3 yrs but I got it done. Always looking for new and updated info. Love the channel.
great tips for the first winter in my bobcat 2035. keep up the good work!
John Deere 1025r, used for moving snow and year-round yard work, brush hogging, snowblower, box blade, loader work
Hi Matt, ck your snowblower if it is equipped with a plastic impeller, my neighbor bought his in 2018 & the dealer just contacted him that they have an upgrade kit for a metal impeller & they are also changing the single chain drive to a dual…God Bless…Chief..{NYS/ADK}
Another great video, thanks.
I own a John Deere 1025r. Preparing for my 3rd winter and this was a great reminder I need to get prepared. Thanks again GWT
Congrats on the 100k. Good info on the snow removal video, we don't see a lot of snow in northeast Oklahoma until about Feb, but there has been a time or two had a freak one pop up. I'm new to owning a tractor my first BX23S. Your videos have helped out a lot. I could really use the wheel spacers. Thanks again and keep the videos coming.

100k well deserved!!!
Great video reminder to get prepared for winter! I never even thought about the windows fogging up. Thank you very much!
Love the channel! Recently bought a 2017 Mahindra 2538 with a backhoe, tiller and finish mower from a person who upsized to a 50 horse tractor. Looking forward to using it! Growing up on a farm and using 'older' row crop equipment, I am blown away at how versatile and easy to use this tractor is! Appreciate the info and education you give us!
I own a 2011John Deere 3032E. Thank you for your videos. They have really helped me.
Great channel and great information! I currently own a 2019 Kubota B2650 and love it!

congrats on 100k subscribers. I have been following for 2+ years and find your channel quite informative. I currently have a 2038 TLB and love it.
I own a John Deere 4310 in the blustery foothills in Idaho, a few miles away from the edge of a windmill farm. The snow drifts here are epic, and am grateful for my green tractor with a meteor snowblower. My property is very hilly, so some wheel spacers would be great!
Great info. Keep em coming. Gotta prep my 2021 John Deere 1025r TLB for winter now.
I really like your videos they are short and to the point and they point out very important details that a lot of people don't I have a BX23S that I bought new this year and the only thing I forgot to get with it was wheel spacers I truly missed them I had them on my old Kubota and it's amazing the difference you guys do a great job keep up the good work
Expecting my brand new JD 2025r next week, can’t wait ! Front Snowblower, backhoe, box blade, grapple… been watching pretty much all your video for last 2 weeks so I know the basic. Love your videos !
Great video Courtney as always. I have stated in the past that you are partly the reason for my purchase of the 1025r that i have and enjoy using and the attachments and implements(that i get from gwt). The videos are informative, entertaining, and food for thaught. Have a great day and be safe!. Tim
Thank you for the videos have been a lot of help with my tractor bought my 1025r tlb a year ago and these videos have been a great aid just need to get some weights and some spacers to get more stability on my uneven land
I have a John Deere 3120 and this year is the first winter I will be using it. Thanks for the great content in all your videos, they are very helpful.
Bought a BX2680 in May. Your CZcams channel has been great for me!
I have a 1025r with the loader bucket and use that for almost everything around the farm
In the winter I use it for snow relocation and use edge tamers that help keep the stone on the driveway. Also back blade with a rubber blade. Keep the good information coming!
Great job on your channel!! I’ve learned so much that I apply to my 3025E.
Excellent channel! I have a Mahindra 2538 HST and live in Maine so this getting ready for winter video is very timely.
I have a Kubota L2501. This is my first winter with this. You have a lot of great tips. Even the obvious ones are good because I find myself forgetting them. I use my tractor in uneven ground so a set of wheel spacers would be a lifesaver.
I have a 2019, 1025r. I absolutely love it. I could definitely use a set of wheel spacers when I mow the pond dam.
I have a yanmar sa424. I love you videos and have learned a lot from watching them. Keep up the good work.
