I have the exact same leak in the same spot I'm about to fix. That bolt is for holding the splash shield I believe it goes on the middle of that metal plate you had to get off. It goes in the middle where you normally jack the car up on the xmember
Dude i had the SAME line rust out and leak. And I could only find that whole hose kit. Its 100$ now 😩 but i might do the same thing and just change the one thats leaking and save the old one. Im about to tackle it now. I got the DS fitting out but not the other one. Hope it aint too bad. I have my PS axle out though so that might help 👊🏼

I will never live somewhere where they salt the roads. My 2006 Subaru undercarriage looks like i just rolled it off the lot is most spots.
