First of all, thank you for enlarging the text size of the description of colors and brushes you use. Those teeny white letters were quite difficult to see! Secondly I wanted to say how much I enjoy your art, especially when you paint the eyes and hair, which really bring the subject to life. Thirdly, can you tell me how long you spend on a typical portrait from the sketch to finish? I have been painting portraits lately and one person takes me three or four DAYS. 😳 Definitely something is wrong. Could it be lack of practice? This is all new to me. My paintings look overworked, not exactly like the model, and tight. I appreciate your looser style which allows the brain to fill in all the details- much more appealing to look at. Thank you in advance for your response. Please keep sharing content! ☺️

Is base coat is necessary for every portrait painting?
