Aunty Shinda is "borrowing" the new baby.Mum Kijivu takes over when the little one makes a few soft noises and then young Moja shows an interest, touching her newest sibling.
I LOVE how gorilla's cradle and pat the babies...even rocking them...just like humans do. So sweet. Baby even trying to suckle like a human baby. So gentle and loving. Simply amazing and sweet.
They are confident that their sister's and/or siblings aren't ever going to hurt the baby, just like we are confident that our sister's and our children would never intentionally hurt our baby's. I love it!
Karen Williams .....I didn’t learn until this last year, that “mothers “encourage the baby to pee pee and poop by gentle licking or rubbing the baby’s rectum and pee pee. Amazing!
Live in baby sitter. She is very curious to know about this baby creature. She will learn a lot like this to prepare for her own journey as a parent in her future.
A regular visit in labor delivery after the delivery. Ho he's so cute can i hold him? How much did he weight? Are you breastfeeding? Did you deliver naturally or c-cection?

... even jiggling her arm around the baby ... !
God Bless these sweet, precious miracles called babies & infants. Lord, look over this innocent Angel & it's Mom
A nice thing to see this parent holding the baby, doesn't need or want help, love their interaction dynamics better than humans❤🐾
It probably helps that they don’t have religion or politics to fight about lol
It's amazing how gentle and nurturing they are.
every mother needs a break now and again lol its nice that she has someone she can trust to help out :) just like human mothers, we need a break :)
I think they only have babies every 4 years and about 26 percent die, if these are silverbacks, from what I read on google.
She looks like she's babysitting
Truly amazing creatures.
It is kind of like she asked "Can I hold your baby?" and Mommy said "yes".
It's so amazing how they hold the babies and the rocking and patting on the back like humans so sweet .👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤗
Gentle giants for sure.

These mothers are so interesting to watch! They’re so gentle and loving!

behaving just like humans
Diaper check without the diaper! So amazing to watch them.

I noticed that too.
It’s even more important to check for accidents when there’s no diaper involved 😆
