Joel my good Aussie friend , looks delicious , to get the skins off the cloves put them individually all at once in 2 metal mixing bowls, 1 can be a little smaller than the other , but they have to be metal( stainless steel, copper , etc...) put the cloves in the larger bowl & cover with the other like a dome or ball & holding bottom & top pushing together with each hand , shake vigorously for 2 minutes & all skins will be removed & works every time & a quick way to skin them, cheers mate

@recipe30 you are welcome mate , it works , but I only use it for a good amount of cloves , 2,3,4 I just do by hand with a paring knife

I very often buy whole chickens and break them down myself. If not I always by bone in skin on chicken and bone it and skin myself as I require. All the bits not used in a dish go to make home-made chicken stock, nothing like homemade stock.
That's the way! Cheaper, better, fresher, more hygenic less environmental waste and a free stock!
