I was on my way *out* of a bastion with a full inventory of treasure and subtitles said there was a Brute nearby…found my self in a 2 deep hole w/Brute and panic dumped a lava bucket, which consumed everything when the Brute killed me anyway.

About the time you turned into a duck, the village you were in had some quite interesting architecture. Is that normal?
If I have crying obsidian when I make a nether portal I like to use it on corners, because why not. It's just a starter portal anyway and I can always change it after I have it linked.
