- Hello,
Soundproofing and Acoustic treatment are two different things as all of us already know. "Soundproofing" helps reducing sounds coming from outside to inside and vice versa, "acoustic treatment" is about improving the acoustics inside your room.
After getting my room soundproofed and getting it painted, its time to work on the acoustics. Sound Absorption Panels is obviously one of the prior things to consider when you think about improving acoustics.
In this 2 videos series, I am building some sound absorption panels for my home studio and showing you how can you build your own for very cheap, at your home.
I will also do the price breakdown in the next video.

For low frequencies below 100hz, Go to Acoustic Fields, they sell a DIY build plans for what they call a BDA. which is a diaphragmatic bass absorber. It's way better than just sticking building insulation in a wooden frame. You can put any type of "fill material" inside. They have activated carbon, which is denser, more porous and has the best performance of "fill material", but it's expensive and heavier. But you can still use other types of fill material like Rockwool, fiberglass insulation that's cheaper, lighter weight, but simply doesn't absorb as much as the Activated Carbon. You can make these things and put casters on the bottom to move them around the room easily. You can also talk to the company and they will recommend placement for your room because that's important too. Check them out. They are videos of people making them and talking about their experiences with them, so check out those videos to understand more..

Bro what's the wood thickness and width you have taken ?
I believe that was 1.5 inch . But you can choose depending on your needs. The thicker will absorb better
