Second posting: So I went and read some comments and couldn't believe all the negative reviews. There are a lot of angry people out there but pay no attention to them. I hope they don't discourage you from continuing to post your instructional videos. You do an affective job explaining what and how the machine works. We live in a fast-paced world as a result, people expect their reviews to get to the point quick in a hurry. Kudos with your channel and thanks for the great review.
Thank you so much for all that encouragement Sergio! That means a ton!
@@wilsonautodetailing i agree . I'm a newbie and found this super informative.
@@wilsonautodetailing hey Wilson Auto Detailing guy I bought a 'Tornador' a few days ago but this one is called a 'Drush' it's Identical in every way just has a different name for some reason?.
I wasn't sure how to use it properly so I searched Utube for some advice. Thanks for your video 👍. I thought it was genuine and real. I would really appreciate some of your advice on how to use it on the roof liners if you don't mind. Cheers man, keep up the good work.😎
@@wilsonautodetailing your videos are great bro, but honestly why to use this if you can just use the steamer?
I know nothing about car detailing or air compressors, so thank you for the “detailed’ description. This video was exactly what I needed. Thanks.
Wow, you're so easy to listen to and you do a great job explaining how and why the tornado works so well. You have the teaching gift, you should become a teacher. I've taught for 10 years and I really enjoy it.
Thank you so much man! Seriously reading your comments is super encouraging
Love your enthusiasm. Don’t listen to these angry people’s negative reviews. Makes them feel smart or important when they criticize. It’s a defense mechanism people use when they feel inadequate. I would hire you in a second in the sales world and I would bet you apply this to everything you’re excited about. Good work kid.
To all the people in a hurry. Slide it forward. This isn't 1950s TV. You get to control it.. Some folks need the longer explanation. If you don't, feel free to fast forward a bit to the part you need. Interesting how many people don't have the time to watch this but enough time to complain in the comments.
Good job kid. Keep doing your thing.
very GOOD video - I learned a lot .. BECAUSE YOU TALKED A LOT .. begginners like me enjoy ALL YOUR DATA ... keep giving ALL the little details buddy ! .. people who know all about "detailing" think you share too much.. but a GOOD TEACHER has to educate at the LOWEST LEVEL ... you are a GREAT TRAINER esp for newbies like me - I wish you were close to my home - GOOD LUCK - keep shooting teaching-type video's ! ;)
Thanks so much man! I’m glad you get something from all the videos!

Thanks buddy. I agree. Until I get to where he is, I want to hear and know all the intricate details.
Very detailed in your presentation. For a young guy like you, I have so much respect, having started your own business. I know you'll go a long way and good job on your presentation.
As my grandpa would say : get to the point mary Lou!!
😂😂😂
An easy remedy for you is to not watch his channel. Pointing out what you consider other peoples weaknesses says more about you than him.
@@michaelhinchey you obviously can't take a joke dude knows I didn't mean it like that get over yourself 🙄 and I ain't pointing anything out like a weakness wtf? Dude you need to chill the heck out!! I love this guys channel he gives great information so shut the heck up with that BS
You really do give a great presentation, here and on your other videos too. You go into detail, which I like, but you keep it fresh and interesting at the same time. This helped me make the decision to buy the Tornador, though I'm only a weekend warrior, and you're right about everything here. It's a great tool, especially at breaking things down quickly and getting into the nooks and cranny's. Keep up the good work, Mr. Wilson. Marc
Nice video! Very descriptive, good resource for anyone trying to learn about detailing…. I agree. The tornador black is an incredibly effective tool for really intricate details, tedious tight spaces with dust, etc, the tornador essentially allows the detailer to achieve similar results with a less powerful compressor via the swirling motion increasing the air velocity. Quick bit of constructive criticism, the tornador requires 5.5-6.5 CFM from your compressor to work properly. I understand mobile detailing makes that more difficult, there are some Gas model compressors that are both compact & high output.
DO NOT spray water into or even near ANY electrical parts. When you clean switches, use your microfibre dampened (not wet) with cleaner and wipe, don't spray; use the toothbrush if you need to, then vacuum up any moisture with a shop vac. After that use ONLY AIR on the Tornado or you will definitely have a VERY EXPENSIVE consequence coming your way or for your customer later on. You don't want cleaner or water forced into the switch with the Tornado, it won't dry out and will certainly cause damage via corrosion / shorting. Other than that you do excellent work and thanks for the info. on the Tornado.
I mean, not trying to be argumentative here ! but as long as there’s not electricity running through that while it’s still wet, you’re probably not gonna damage it. if he cleans it like this, drys it with the compressed air and then waits a while before cranking it just to be double-sure the wiring is fully dry, it should be fine. you can pressure wash a keyboard, wait for it to fully dry out and then plug it back into a computer and it’ll work, no problems...you only start frying stuff if there’s still water in it when you try and send an electrical current through it 👀
@@jo-eo9ld The problem isn't just shorts, water causes corrosion which will cause shorts and bad connections later on.
I just discovered you and love how detailed you are...thank you for all of the useful information!
Just getting into hobby detailing my personal stuff, and other family. 5 years later just found this video, and it was great information and very detailed. Thank you
I am highly impressed with the value that you place on doing a great job. Well done. You'll be successful no matter what you embark on. And well done again by sharing know how with other who are wanting to do the same type of work. :-) God bless.
A lot of imatient people here whinning about him talking too much. He gave me a lot of valuable info and thankful for it.
Thanks for review. I've been waffling about getting this thing, now I think I'll give it a try.
Bro that was a spectacular video! I felt very comfortable with the Tornador and what it does after viewing. Seeing you use it and hearing you explain how it solves problems definitely makes me want to buy it. And I don't even have a detailing business, lol.
I really appreciate that you went out of your way to inform us on that tool. For those who wanna skip the verbal explanation, maybe throw up a time in the description to skip forward to seeing it in action
I've been using the Tornador white for interior surfaces and Tornador black for carpets and matts for over 8+ years in my mobile detailing service. It's definitely the best most effective tool in the detailing business.
Bet. I bought a Tornador when I was working at a Dealership using their industrial Air Compressor and seeing that is compatible with the Tornador is a blessing. I will be buying one real soon.
Now you have to re-grease those rails buddy.
Same thoughts but mine was more like, there goes the grease and the seat will eventually bind up.
@@JohnSmith-yl9en The grease needs to be thick to hold up to pressure. Applying silicone spray won't cut it.
A few people mentioned "too much talking:. At first, I agreed. However as the video went on, I realized this is the way you teach-you cover all the bases. Keep making your videos the way you do. I watched the entire 28 minutes. By the end, I understood why a detailer needed the Toronador. Good job.
That’s a must have tool for a professional detailer
I detailed cars back in the 80’s a lot as my liveyhood and one thing I learned -quickly- EVERYBODY IS AN EXPERT! So, I ordered one of those off tv not knowing you have to have an air compressor, which I do but forgot my psi. I will have to go look. But anyway, not everybody knows about the psi, b/c mine came with absolutely no instructions so I would have trotted right up to the garage and hooked it up and possibly ruined it. So I looked at a bunch of videos untill I found yours that actually explained stuff. So for all those experts out there that are giving out hate, REAL experts try to help others, not be ass wipes. Sorry, a bit of detailers humor. Keep it up, thought your video was informative. Thanks.
Take the grease off a part that comes greased from the factory?
I just recently purchased a Tornador for my auto detailing business. It works great! The max psi for mine is 90.
You've made really great vids on the Tornador. That being said, I wish you had one on the Tornador Black and the Velocity Vac, I can see this as being a beast in deep cleaning and revitalizing the pile in older carpet. Thanks again!
Have both Tornadors, Spray and Vacuum. Great tools. The vacuum is fantastic. The suction is incredible. Must have for detailing tool.
Purchased a Tornador gun .. for a 2014 Pete .. thank u for the introduction and information .. cant wait to get started
Awesome detailed review, thanks!
Although I'd avoid blowing water or cleaning chemicals under pressure into electrical parts, even a bit of moisture will eventually corrode contacts. They're splashproof to some extent, but not totally so.
Nice job, Thanks for all the info. I bought one and had lots of questions and you answered them, Thank you!!!
I'm not a detailer just curious about the tool, you did an excellent video explaining how it works & how to use it. Thank you for sharing! 👍
Just got a tornador and nice of you to make these videos to let me know what uses it has. Cheers luke👍
Hunny, this video is AWESOME!!! It really helped me to detail the cars we sell. Keep up the good work!😊
Let me tell you young man your video is part of Cash Mobile Detailing my son loves you keep it up
Good video review. I'm thinking of purchasing this cleaning tool. So the purple power degreaser can clean all the dirt inside of the interior carpet of any car? I ask because this is my first time doing this. Thanks
Ready for the carpet tutorial of the tornador. Part 2
I really love your energy Luke keep up your great work. I have the same exact air compressor. I had for 3 yrs I never thought of using it for car detailing. I am going to buy the Tornado what is the PSI setting are you using. When using on the carpet, interior and surfaces. Thank you for sharing your talent and know how.
Good info. What happens to all the debris you spray off with the Toridor. Do you come back and vacuum?
Voice is soooo smooth kid.. you should be a book reader for writers specially inspirational ones .
Is 6 gallon enough to detail the side panels or the seats with out running out of air every 2minutes ? I just got my tornador But still haven't bought my air compressor .. What do you recommend Mr. Wilson .. Thanks god bless 💪
Awesome video!! Thank you so much for your detailed explanations. I'm about to try mine out for the first time.
Hi Luke...Sometimes you use compressed air (for inside the car or engine bay) in combination or not with the TORNADOR. ... What kind of a
setup or compressor do you use ? Capacity ? Power (PSI) ? etc...
How much pressure would you recommend using on the interior when blowing out things ?
Love your vids I’m a detailer myself. The engine cleaning would be badass with this thing
Excellent demonstrations. Just curious: In your links what's the difference between the $16.25 model and the $116.96 model?
Thanks Luke for your videos.
I'm picking up a Tornador tomorrow.
Just a little unsure of the size compressor I need as I will be detailing numerous vehicles outside
Does the tornador really work with that small of an air compressor. I look it up and it recommends 4.5 cfm at 90pso and I know that the air compressor you use is like 1 cfm at 90pso
I just ordered mine. I'm waiting for it. What do you use for cleaning seats and rug in the car/ truck
Dude you’ve come along way! Congrats!
If you're worried about blasting grease all over then cover the area with a couple rags. Have the rag around the end of the Tornador to keep the spray contained. Get a small tube of grease and dab some on the threads. Done. Great video man.
I feel that knowing how the machine works helps me with the cleaning process. Just the video I was looking for, thanks Wilson!
Very informative, very insightful, a little long, but very useful and I will look for your videos again!
Tripod schmiod. Your videos never suck brother. Always on point. God bless!
Awesome job. Okay, I’m going to ask a really basic (silly?) question. Does.this tool require an electrical outlet with an extension cord or can it be attached via a “plug in” I the car? I live in an apartment complex and there are no electrical outlets available. Hope you see this.
I’ve been using this for years so not sure why I watched this lol. But good job on video I also have used purple power when not doing higher end to use Meguirars . Curious if you have ever used simple green degreaser. Haven’t made the change to try yet. Just curious
very good explaining.thanks for informing
Good job on the video! Love how you explain the tools and products you use! How much do you charge per vehicle
Tornador-vac=game changer!
Can you tell me what kind of all purpose degreaser you use for the carpets? Thank you and keep the good work
What compressor do you use. Being mobile, we don't have tons of room and I'm going to get a Tornidor for my set up. I use one at work and I feel in love with it. Also, the compressed air just makes everything do much more efficient.
How long can you run your Tornador before your compressor runs out of air? I've been reading that you should get a 20 gallon plus tank but being mobile I'd like to run it off something smaller... Good to see you've been able to use it with your pancake compressor
Ya I never understood why they suggested such a huge compressor, I have never had a problem, but it just depends I guess, some people may run their tornador longer than I do,
@@wilsonautodetailing Good to know that you find satisfactory results with a compressor that won't break the bank.
Depends on the size of the tank, CFMs to replace and how long you squeeze the trigger.
Super awesome Video!! Totally like it. Thanks for all the tips and your recommendations. Going to order all. What kind of vacuum do you recommend that is super quiet? I’m also thinking about getting the velocity vac!
He’s talking a lot because he actually know how to explain how to use the product correctly. I thought it was perfect explanation on how to use the tool in a lot of situations. Good vid
very informative thank you so much for taking the time to give some of your knowledge
Awesome job very detail an informative.
dude i am,so confused and frustrated about the, flat black plastic key with the tornador can you explain
When I first started using that machine they had just came out and it started making me tons of money And save a ton of chemicals
Some of us like to hear the why’s of things and more explanations of tools than some people that have the attention span of a nat! Keep the videos coming buddy!!!
Cleaning out the seat runner is all well and good but that big long screw is supposed to be lubricated with grease. Clean it all up and remove the dirt and grease but then it must be greased and the seat must be run forward and backward to its limit a few times to spread the grease on the turning screw or it will rust. Also, it's probably a good idea to put rags around the runner before you use the cleaning gun because you'll be splattering little globs of old grease on the carpet. You may not see it but after the driver drags his feet across it a few times it will attract dirt and the carpet will turn black.
Can you use this to detail a headliner to get rid of cigarette smell
I just got one one of these in the mail addressed to me from china hahah had no idea what it was. thank you.
Thanks for your interesting, and refreshingly informal presentation style! Great information… came here from the headlight refinishing video. Also very good, practical and detailed.
2 minutes of good info and 26 minutes of HIM living to hear himself talk!!?
I am curious to know what someone would use in the gun? Plain water, cleaning solution, or just air?
Do you just use just water in the tornador ? just as when i was going to ask if you use just water U answered my question!! thanks
Good morning, my friend, I'm from Brazil. I need some information if possible. With how many pounds of pressure does it work? Which are the products that I have to use. Thankful.
Do you have a video that shows you the things you use to detail the vehicles. Like a haul video. I want to start detailing my own car like a pro.
You are the only person who explained to hook the last end part into a device air pressure! This is where I fail to understand that the device alone is not effective without the air pressure machine. I got it today in the hope that I could just take it and wash my car with it but I need an air pressure machine to hook it up into a hose.
Hey thanks you for the details and for the real good explanation!! Gracias!
Hey bro, thanks a lot for such an informative video! A couple of questions if you don't mind. :)
- So why you don't hook up solution into the tornador but use water instead? Is it kinda more cost-effective, doesn't consume as much chemistry? Or is it simply more effective to clean that way?
- Compressor is connected to the regular plug or your accumulator in the car?
Thanks a lot buddy =)
Was wondering is it work with handy air compressor kit??? Can i install with?
I own one and they are absolutely amazing I use it on everything depends on what your doing depends on what solution I use
Brent Thompson do you have the enzyme cleaner solution and if so where’d you get it ? Thanks .
i’ve often wonder about this tool! i only have a ryobi cordless compressor and wondering if it wood word with that? it’s a 18v 3.8 litre
Thank you for describing the product. I currently have my own cleaning business. I mainly clean personal homes, and rental properties. I have a helper that used to do car detailing, and he suggested adding car detailing to one of the services that we provide. I just happened to run across this product online, at a great price, so I decided to give it a try. I showed my helper, and he was excited! It is the same thing he used to detail cars, and said it worked amazing! My plan is to let my current customers know that we now offer car detailing service, and go from there. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on starting a car detailing service. I live in north country where it's bitterly cold now, and I don't have a garage to work in, so I was thinking to start promoting it very early spring. Just wondering your thoughts / suggestions. Thank you for your time.
I definitely would wait for the spring to start, but my suggestion would be to start marketing now so that when spring rolls around you have some momentum. Think creatively about social media strategies, friends, etc... to get some anticipation up, maybe even telling your existing clientel, giving them 10% when spring comes, things like that. You have time now to create excitement (pre launch phase) and I would take advantage of that
Someone tell me.. you think this will work in the kitchen or bathroom? Cleaning sinks, showers, tile, etc..?
Thank u so much I’m 4yrs late but this video made my Decision easier to get this machine.
Plaeser, qual o nome do dispositivo que VC está usando???
Is it safe to use on various types of leather?
Are you gonna re-grease the seat sliders? Eventually it will wear down if you don't.
What pressure do you have your compressor set at for the tornador?
90 psi If not it will not lay down evenly been using it for 10 years now
Great video, I learn a lot watching you. I would recommend placing a towel down to catch the dirty water and cleaner falling on the carpet or the areas of the car. But I might be too ocd...
I enjoyed the video. I will say, however, I have never had a car as clean as that one was before you started. Do you have any videos of detailing cars that need to be cleaned?
I loved this video. Thank you for all the information.
What bit do you use 1/4 to hook up to your hole? The one come with the device doesn’t fit any bit I bought . Please advice.
Hey bro! Which generator do you recommend to use?
Video is great! For those complaining about how much he talks, just skip ahead. Good optional info for new detailers.
There’s nothing wrong with this video man in fact it was a refreshing, don’t change
