    Real ones know the corded fast feeds with the ceramic blade hit different. One of my favorite clippers of all time and I’m so glad they finally released the cordless version. Not a fan of the lever opening more though, that would just confuse me and throw off my cutting system.

    I would have bought the Fast Feeds cordless if they came out 6 months ago, I went with the Wahl Senior Cordless and the Wahl Detailer cordless, it works out because I can use the same charging cord for both. Still use my Oster Model 10 detachable blade also.

    I completely agree with Reggie’s review. Tank has a good one as well. They dropped the ball. Machine is too thick. The lever is waaaay to big. Motor is super weak. I am a fan of the nostalgic look. They are NOT competitive in 2022 or at that price point. AT ALL!!! Between WAHL, ANDIS, BABYLISS, Gamma/Style Craft and others, this is Obsolete

    Always loved the fast feeds. But applying the ceramic blade took them a step higher. He wasn't a fast feeds fan, so I get his opinion. But me, I took the steps to get the most out of them because I liked them day 1, and it made a difference. Hopefully ceramic blade will be available for cordless. Thanks for the video C-Boss!

    😮‍💨 I thought i was crazy 😅 I also like the packaging, the look of the clipper and really really like the sound. Maybe I'm just a fan of different but I gotta give Oster props for making a cordless tool so close to the corded (something that most clipper companies weren't able to do 🤷🏽‍♂️) I have been hearing some horror legends about them getting louder and the lever being odd and uncomfortable though

    Man great video. Great review on the clipper. I have to be honest bro... I don't like the mat maroon look. The corded Oster Fast Feed was my go to. Especially, after I modified them so I could utilize them more with my clients who are on the Spectrum. Other than the faded look.... I think the range of how open you can open the blade is crazy. Not bad, but not really too excited about it. I assumed that's for not having notches on the side. Oh yeah, and to answer your question... the corded Fast Feed blade does get warm, but they really don't get hot like the Masters do. It's been a while since I've used them.

And the size by size view u can tell they changed the shape of the body where iif u look close you will see how it show more blade, witch I also liked! I feel like the plastic being pushed back so we can see the blade more is an improvement! Plus we get a better view point

    • @PANTERALEO56
      @PANTERALEO56 Před 2 lety

      Eddie Barber through it on and stated that even if you zero gap it the bracket also moves because the bracket they use is newer.
      PhilthyBlendz zero gapped it in his video but it was brief.
      I think the best alternative would be to get the full on Cordless Fast Feed experience would be to put the still blade on a magnetic motor clipper switch the cam and put the ceramic blade.
      Andis makes The medium and course cutter ceramic blades that are great and if not the blade off a 1 detachable oster and andis , those cutting blades are longer than the standard course cutter that comes stock with the Fast Feed.
      The problem with that bracket is it doest slide like the corded Fast Feed the plastic housing covers it perhaps making its customization much harder perhaps.
      Man why do I keep watching these videos knowing the fast feed isn't what was expected.

    What is the down side of the clipper opening wide?

    • @PANTERALEO56
      @PANTERALEO56 Před 2 lety +1

      Several !!!
      Most barbers have a system they recognize that works with the tools they got. The Guards they use with the Newer Extension capability can throw that system off some.
      Most Fastfeed users rely solely on andis guards for the work. The new Extension means a full one to a 000 eliminating guards which for some just that alone is enough to fuck everything up before hitting the on switch.
      That's for those who are easily overwhelmed or get anxious you know that stage fright feel but with the client that's what you don't want "I'd Imagine.
      Next issue is cutting performance.
      A closed blade always performs better than an open blade the course cutter blade is thick so for many you may experience snags or pulling especially if your blades aren't sharpened and maintained lol especially oiled and even more so with any guard on.
      I personally love the Extension as I'm a beginner who absolutely loves the Fast Feeds more so in theory than in actual practice even though at first I thought I'm going to get lost I don't really understand the Extension the lever No guide notches to illustrate lever placement and the guards are different and cut closer than a Wahl blade. The closest blade Wahl makes to an Andis TAPER Blade or Oster Fast Feed Blade size and Dimension That is Actually Comparable is the Wahl Precision blade.
      The Extension plays a big roll but that also depends on the blade the cutting blade the still blade adjustment all kinds of Jazz
      Ultimately it's a comfort thing homez for you or clients.
      If Fisher-Price dropped a gem like the Wahl Peanut or Hero I'd be on the Hype train to. But for many the Ride is more of the thought process and the experience is where the let down happens.
      What are your thoughts?
