So I think it's safe to say that Deadpool & Wolverine will be the highest grossing R-rated movie of all time.
I can see it
How much money do you think Deadpool & Wolverine will make at the world wide box office. I’m thinking 1.2 billion
Agree
It will be close to joker, but I think it will just about surpass it
Biggest opening probably. Depends after that
This is easy. It's Deadpool and the X-Men in the MCU. It's what every goddamn one of us have been waiting for. That's why.
I'm not surprised. A lot of people, me included, anticipated this movie for a long time.
As long as it is a good movie I'll never be tried of seeing a good movie superhero / comicbook or not.
where the f is 365 million views? No. not in youtube. Please give the source.
Lol, the amount of Iger knee pad wearing cracks me up.
Hear me out: They made Deadpool the ONLY MCU movie this entire year so they could gauge the response, and based on how people responded, and what they said, and what they act like they want next, it gives them lots of time to make big changes to the next coming films.
@@imhuman_torch18 I'm required to agree with you
I finally catch up with all Easter eggs of new rockstar, heavy Spoilers and screencrush
Because it’s Marvel is very rewatchable again!!!
Very well said! thanks. You get it.
John you're talking deadpool you should have put in a mint mobile or manscaped ad
That will pack theaters
“I don’t care about comic book movies anymore”
Same people: Clicked on this trailer the second it dropped
I just love how all of these people who complain about comic book movie fatigue are still always sneaking viewings of them like they’re sneaking their porn watching from their parents
Well said, John. Bravo. (Applauding)
7:39 DEADPOOL : BORN AGAIN😂
Let me just say this I am just happy John that they have practical suits I really love the CGI of the Nanobots technology but at the same time I miss that nostalgic practical suit you know overall it's a great trailer bring on the filthy
I highly doubt the Superbowl had higher viewership beause people were expecting a Deadpool teaser. Who's going to sit through 4 hours of TV, that they wouldn't have otherwise, for a 30 second teaser without knowing when it's coming, only to be told to watch the full trailer online anyway?
My exact thoughts haha
I can’t remember the numbers exactly, but something like 40 of the top 50 most watched broadcasts are NFL Games 😂 if anything people who wanted to watch the superbowl learned a new Deadpool trailer was dropping in real time haha
I'm gonna say that the excitement for this movie isnt because its the only marvel movie this year, but because its deadpool and wolverine.
If another marvel movie was coming out this year, it'd still be as popular. The higher ups know that and probably made it so that it wouldn't overshadow and outdo whatever marvel movie they could of released
For me, it's bad movie fatigue. I'm so tired of the absolute shit that keeps getting made.
Did the views crash or something because I only see the trailer views at 17 mil right now
No it's because it's based on social media as a whole, not just CZcams. So the Twitter views, Facebook views, ect. It's all collected and added together.
lol it’s because Disney included the Super Bowl viewership. The numbers are fudged.
@@Crusader2012Read the post above. It is based on social media as a whole.
If enough people care about Deadpool 3's execution to recommend it to newer viewers, it just might reach 1 billion dollars. I know we also have Dune Part 2, Inside Out 2 and Kraven the Hunter on the way, but after Night Swim and Madame Web, I also have a bad feeling that most of the Top 10 highest-grossing films of 2024 might not make enough money to be profitable or even be nominated for next year's Oscars. That is why I encourage people to watch Pixar movies re-released in early 2024, since I know they are more interesting than most first-quarter movies in 2024. I know every year has their big feature films to be nominated for something, and that has not changed for the 2024 movies to be seen again in the 2025 Oscar season. What _might_ change for the 2025 Oscar season, is that now we have a lesser abundance of annual movie releases to be nominated after the 2023 strike. On the flip-side, less new movies in 2024 also makes for easier competition and a better division of the whole audience's average money to buy more tickets for less movies. Unless this also makes 2024 a better breeding ground to re-release other 2020 films that the coronavirus prevented from hitting movie theaters or selling more tickets for them if they were in theaters late in the year, like Soul and Tenet. Soo excited to see this when it comes out (:
Pegging! What a day to be alive... good for you Kris
WOW, Really John,
"please leave and he lights the candles." I cracked up
great video
On a plus with all these viewings, I can't wait for the Sideshow Collectible stautes ( sorry for the misspelling) that are HOPEFULLY coming from "Deadpool & Wolverine"!
Goated trailer indeed
Deadpool & Wolverine Road To A BILLI
Never thought I'd hear the words "BDSM leash" in the context of a John Campea episode 😂
The comic book genre ain’t going nowhere tbh. If this era is the worst for comic book movies then the genre will be around for another 20 years. Every year we get a comic book hit💯
To expand on the point made that even the TVA agent is new. So are the TVA uniforms.
Is tracker cumulatively between all the Channels that the trailer dropped on? Bc when you look at Marvel Entertainments post of the video it only says like 17 mil
Yes, it's always been based on the views as a whole. So CZcams, Twitter, Facebook, ect. They collect it all and add it together in the first 24 hours.
Although superhero fatigue as a whole doesn't exist, the issue lies in the recent years post-Endgame where we've seen poorly received superhero movies (Venom, Morbius, The Flash, Aquaman 2, Shazam 2, Wonder Woman 2, etc.). That's why people feel justified in saying that, but there's the other side of the coin with movies like GotG3, Spider-Man: NWH, Shang-Chi, Peacemaker, Spider-Man: ITSV, and those are the movies we remember.
Moreover, successes like Venom signal to the studios that they can continue making mediocre films and still do well financially. That's why we have Venom 2, Morbius, and now Madame Web.
Peacemaker's a tv show.
Deadpool & Wolverine could really be that movie that turns the MCU around. Keyword: "could"
I am glad that Bob Iger came back to fix the mess of Bob Chapek did. Bob Iger gave back the power of creative to; Pixar, MCU and Star Wars.
No such thing as comic book movie fatigue, or superhero movie fatigue.
1. Adaptation is always interesting, bcos people likes to compare a movie with their original source, be it comic books, novels, animations, etc. People like judging things, making comparison is also judging.
2. Deadpool isn't exactly a superhero.
I am eagerly awaiting this movie, but I DO have a little bit of a worry as they've said, because of the writers strike, that Ryan Reynolds won't be allowed to do his ad lib like he did in the first two movies
He was for most of it because a lot was filmed after the strike
Considering its the only Marvel Movie for this year.. 🎉 It has to deliver..
John Campea, did you see the name on the machanical arm that was in the desert?
tf thor love and thunder doin on that list 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No one watch the Super Bowl expressly to see the Deadpool trailer also and wolverine makes a big difference. It’s simply a nice addition.
Speak for yourself 😂 I was gaming during the SB and paused during the commercials. Specifically looking out for Deadpool and Kingdom of the planet of the apes.
I guess Americans do

Deadpool & Wolverine trailer: "MCU IS BACK"
No one said MCU back for Echo lmao. It was the opposite
@@rl8259Eh, there was hope when it was rated MA. But that was mostly because it ment that they wouldn't water down Daredevil: Born Again, which before wasn't going to be MA.
No one has said MCU is back.
Oh, nevermind. John just said it.
The reaction to the Echo trailer was more like:
Trailer: Huh...this might actually be interesting. Maybe I should watch it.
Release: Nope.
They need to deliver on explaining what incursions are, how characters can travel between continuities, the difference between how Loki, Kang, Venom, Morbius, Dr Strange, Scarlett Witch, America Chavez and the different Spidermen travelled between continuities and timelines. Ever since the MCU and Sony attempted and insisted on failing to explain their multiverse across Disney+ and theatrical releases the quality of their storytelling has gone way down, I've also become annoyed at how they waste great talent such as Christian Bale and other amazing actors/actresses that played bad guys as one offs. The stakes in the latest material have especially gone down and we are becoming indifferent to the newer characters. I've basically come to the conclusion ever since Multiverse of Madness that if they themselves don't care about having their lore make sense and on top of that don't care about making their villains a real threat, then I won't care about spending money or time watching material that contradicts itself, retcons itself and won't lead anywhere relevant. The next Deadpool movie will basically be the last chance I give them to make me care about the overall story, if it's as good as it should and rights the ship I might get Disney+.
Who Is Shocked With These Numbers
People will still find a way to complain somehow
Lol it's happening here also
Because youtube channels dedicated to shitposting have money riding on this
Gonna be honest I'm only watching this movie for wolverine. I think if they do x men right in the mcu , fans will return.
I think they should’ve called it Deadpool X Wolverine. I feel it would’ve been more fitting
Exactly I want to be able to get back to liking and anticipating the MCUs greatness with every new project that gets released and hopefully after dead-pool and wolverine we get back to the way it was before came out
Avengers endgame came out
Avatar 1 and Endgame could lost that historical tip now
Hate to say it but Deadpool would need to be an 85% plus rotten tomatoes to help bring MCU "back". not from a movie standpoint but just overall direction of MCU and hype weve all been craving. if this is just a pretty good movie, that wont be good enough. Cheering for Ryan and Hugh!
So I’ve seen almost every MCU movies and TV shows but I have not seen any of the X-Men movies. I’m willing to get into it preparation for Deadpool but I gotta find a list of what to watch and what to skip. I know there’s a lot of movies and timelines with some being not so good.
Really the ones you should watch are X-men, X2, last stand, first class, and days of future past those are the most important ones in my opinion X-men origins wolverine wasn’t one of the best it’s a guilty pleasure for me lol but it wouldn’t hurt X-men apocalypse was good but you don’t necessarily have to watch it but it is a damn good movie and Dark Phoenix……yeah you can leave that one out lmao😂
Much appreciated. I figured the James Mangold movies would be a must, but probably should get started with the originals at least. @@IM-mAddneSS
If you're into Deadpool then X men origin wolverine is a must. It's the first RR appearance as DP (it wasn't called DP back then, it was Weapon XI)
I know a little about that and looked up some clips on CZcams. I may give it a look depending on how into the other movies I am, @@antonny1735
It can be the greatest movie of all time…. But I need to know how long the movie is. I’m not going to be impressed if this movie is under the 2 hr mark.
8:59min mark all of the movies wheren’t Great all of the time to keep it frank.
BRING BACK THANOS
My girlfriend watched the super bowl for the sport, I watched it for Deadpool.
this will be the first movie i will go watch in the movie theaters since Spider-man ;/
Turns out all these views were bull shit. Disney added the actual Super Bowl viewing audience LOL.
yeah 365 million is fake. in youtube isnt that much
bro ,its across all platforms, do you see no way homes trailer with 355 million views on yt. you haters are getting so annoying
especially what kind of Sideshow figurine is made for "Marvel Jesus".
I think the bald person in the dead pool trailer is the younger version of Charles Xavier
Where are all those views coming from? Because the trailer on marvels youtube page has only 17M
There’s different companies releasing the same trailer. They all have different numbers
Different platforms like CZcams, X, facebook, tik tok, etc. Also, there are different channels in CZcams from Marvel, for example there is the Marvel Entertainment which is for US & Canada mainly, there is the Marvel Latinoamérica, Marvel UK, Marvel Korea, Marvel Japan, etc.
Disney is including Super Bowl viewership lol. Misleading. The numbers don’t add up, even across all those social media accounts. The Marvel CZcams is only at 19.
How does kris feel being in a nerdrotic intro vid ?
Which vid?
This is not an opinion on the movie but the trailer itself…. The trailer was very very “mid”!!! It didn’t move the needle for me.
Thats wild. What do you need to see? Need to get spoiled to get hyped? Lol
@@thorkagemob1297dawg Shaun levy’s directing he’s ass

@@bmitch1834good directors have bad movies too
@@TheChristian50 fist of all “bro”… there were tons of cameos in the Dr Strange 2 and the movie sucked! I don’t care about the cameos personally, I like Deadpool because of his humor. Nothing about this trailer was funny. Whoopity doo Dead Pool blowing out birthday candles and then fighting the TVA!!! How exciting!!!
Deadpool & Wolverine is going to be the best MCU movie of all time all praise MCU Jesus aka deadpool.
So strange Rise of the Beasts is on the list.
If anyone is not excited by Ryan renoylds and Hugh Jackman they dead inside....it will make 2 billion John it will
I would like to remind everyone that the reason everyone wanted to watch SM 3 was because ANDREW GARFIELD and TOBY MCQUAIRE were in it.
Had they not returned it would have just been another SM movie.
Question: was there ever Western fatigue?
Yes, but we still get Westerns to this day. Space between releases and quality control is what keeps them popular.
“Marvel is dead” 🤣
The original Deadpool got banned in China or else it would've been a billion dollar movie. Deadpool & Wolverine will need China if they want to be up their with the Spider-Man No Way Home or Avengers Endgame
They can get a billion without China, but yeah to approach NWH or Endgame, they need a China release.
@@CalebByRamenion know. If Taylor swift is somehow in this and markets the movie, she alone can bring 200 million from fans
This movie will be a hit
But it won't save the MCU
Just delay the inevitable
Yeah 1 movie can't save anything, it's consistency. But it'll give them a huge hit, reignite the hype, and continue to prove the MCU is far from dead we just need good movies.
Same comment, different account
What's inevitable, Thanos?
no trailer was better than infinity war trailer #1
agreed, the adulation that the IW trailer caused can only be rivaled by Endgame
Superhero fatigue is only real if you consume just superhero shit. I love the MCU but I watch a lot of european artsy fartsy and bollywood. So is a YOU problem.
Nah, it's a real thing. I watch those other stuffs too. Even golden age Hollywood, Soviet films, silent films... superhero fatigue is real.
The corpos behind them dried them up.
@@ThePrinceofHisOwnKingdom My dude. Real is whatever you pay attention to, so no is not real for me. LoL

@@nemqueteba21 I know more on films. If some fool gonna be saying Quantumania's better than Godzilla Minus One, is that real?
Yeah, it is comic book movie fatigue.
Superhero movie fatigue is real. It does exist. Not many people are watching there stuff nowadays. Even if they claw viewers back it will not translate to there other projects after it.
Deadpool is a superhero movie , that is literally in your face there is no fatigue for superheros it is BAD MOVIE FATIGUE
Yall want Marvel to fail so bad its hilarious 😂
Most watched trailer bc it was a record breaking Super Bowl in terms of viewership… zero quantifiable correlation. I get your hype John but you can’t just staple it onto analytics as facts.
Notice that none of the other ads played during the superbowl made the most streamed trailers list
It is facts if you have critical thinking skills and understand the obsession to see Hugh Jackman come back. Educate yourself for f’s sake
Views counted are from different platforms like CZcams, tik tok, X and others it doesn’t count the number of houses viewing the superbowl
They included the Super Bowl viewership. The trailer numbers are inflated lol. Misleading but Disney got the headlines they wanted.
@@Crusader2012 Even if we remove SB views of 123M, it'd still be the 3rd biggest movie trailer behind NWH & Endgame. So it's great either way, those were 2 billion dollar films.
You have the same little cough that vladmor putin has
If John thinks people watched the trailer for Deadpool and not Wolverine then he’s smoking crack
This trailer was just ok, a few good jokes but nothing new. I think we're just sick of terrible movies like Madame Web and The Marvels
Every tesers or trailers are of always ok type its just hype or expectations that make one to watch a movie in general even some watch every movies.
Of course there is superhero fatigue. Every time I watch a superhero fight scene now they bore me it’s just something I’ve seen too much of. And the general audience feels the same. 8 years ago if you made a superhero movie it was almost certain it would make money. Now a days even good comic book movies flop because people are tired and the only thing that is still successful are third movies or franchise conclusions from a happier age. Because the gerne alone doesn’t make a superhero film a success now it’s the name of the product
8 years ago we had consistently good products, multiple times a year, that cracked a billion each on average. If the product isn't good, they don't get good word of mouth, and less money. It's why outliers like No Way Home, Spiderverse, snd Guardians prove that people aren't tired of the genre, they are tired of bad movies. Stop pushing this crap.
@@spicymemes7458 But then again movies like Doctor Strage 2 and Thor 4 made mountains of money many people saw them and noticed that they had enough. Guardians 3 is a movie that would easily have made a billon dollars in 2019 but now… Of course the quality dropping is a big factor but I think we also have to admit to ourselves that superhero’s (especially new ones) don’t get us as excited as we used to be
@@Carlo_ReNews evidently that lack of interest doesn't translate in viewership of this trailer. You didn't mention that Disney Plus is now a factor in people's decision to go to theaters. Streaming inevitably will hamper box office performance if word of mouth is poor. It does not mean people aren't interested. It means they are spending money more wisely and waiting longer in case the movie is bad. I've done that many times, but I see it eventually.
@@spicymemes7458 Sure. But this trailer only got so many views because the movie is called Deadpool and Wolverine if it was an unknown superhero that never had a movie before it would have gotten no attention what so ever unlike a few years ago. Look I know it’s not as big of a factor as people make it out to be but saying it doesn’t exist would not represent the whole truth. How do I know this? Because I feel it myself. Me and my best friend where huge superhero fan back then but know the CGI battles and the constant jokes and references don’t get us excited but tired
But with doctor strange 2 is it was a sequel to NWH EG and IW more then the actual first movie plus WV which might have turned movie goers off due all the stuff you have to watch but the film still had hype behide it pushing it to 900m
As for Thor 4 being a sequel to Ragarok IW and EG plus the guardians being in it (for about 5 minutes) of course people would see it pushing it to 700m
Nobody is interested in Deadpool it’s Taylor Swift the queen of pop that everyone was interested in, Taylor Swift rules the world and we’re lucky to be living in her world 🌍 everyone BOW 🙇 to Taylor Swift please
Huh
Superhero movie fatigue is real. It does exist.
If you only watch super heros movies and nothing else then yes
In order for that to be true, we would need consistent disinterest from the general public. Spiderman, Guardians, even shows like The Boys and Loki, video games like Insomniac Spiderman, go against that theory. You can call them outliers, but your theory can't have outliers in order to take hold. You are working backwards from your conclusion because some morons om youtube told you it was a complete failure.
(Earth-1610) pyro
True story: I once walked out of Deadpool 1. I found him so obnoxious. He literally speaks the entire movie, I was so annoyed. I'm glad people enjoy him even though he's not my cup of tea, cant wait to watch the cameos from Wolverine, Storm etc.
You’re entitled to your opinion and we should respect that. That being said I definitely do not recommend you read a deadpool comic or book😂😂
His nickname is literally The Merc with the Mouth lol
If you think the talking is obnoxious, I have good news! There's a movie with Deadpool where his mouth is sewn shut. Maybe that's more your speed, but the vast majority of us are going to enjoy Deadpool as it is intended.
@@spicymemes7458 i loved wolverine origins. So lol.
Well shit, then I got nothing then lol
