I love Iron Maiden. Over the years, they've managed to strike a balance between staying true to what attracted their original fans, while still updating and progressing so as to not seem repetitive and stagnant. So few bands achieve that balance. Notice that, as sad as this song is, it ultimately has a positive message: yes, things are very bad, but they may not be quite as bad as they seem, so don't give up.
Does Bruce's voice sound exactly the same as it did 25 or 30 years ago? Probably not. Is Bruce singing better than ever? As a HUGE Maiden fanatic, I would say yes, without a doubt..

This song should be in a movie! While Iron Maiden was always pretty high on my list of favorite's I still always found it had to decide who was my favorite. This is the capper, Maiden is officially my favorite now. Its pretty hard to emotionally move me, I'm a pretty hardened person but wow that song is just awesome.

I have been a Maiden fan since 1985 and I have been to every single maiden show’s since then
And my opinion Maiden as a hole band has been getting better and better with every album and live shows. Iron Maiden is the greatest metal band of all time. And as far as Bruce Dickinson goes in my opinion he is the greatest metal front man in the history of heavy metal.

Tenho lido ultimamente nas redes sociais que o Iron Maiden não é o mesmo dos discos The Number of the beast, Piece Of Mind, Powerslave, enfim discos classicos da década de 80, e realmente não é, porque o tempo passa as coisas mudam, o mundo muda, tudo muda, mas dizer que o atual som do Maiden não é bom, ai já é muiita sacanagem dos "saudosistas", para mim continua soando muito bom o som deles, mesmo com essa pegada mais progressiva, gosto muito.

This music makes me feel deeply sad when I think about New World Order and dead people. Victims by the greed of others. The calm melody in the begining sounds like a song in respect for the people that gone. Creepy.
